Casa BACARDÍ in San Juan

JoJo was a phenomenal tour guide and host. She had us dancing, cheering, and laughing! We highly recommend taking the tour and mixology class. Do what makes you move!

Will and Danny were amazing tour guides! They provided my husband and I with soo much information but made it very engaging and interactive. I will never Bacardi the same ☺️

We got here in uber as it was 25 minutes from where we where staying in San juan the place was really awesome a bar in the middle and the tour took place arround the complex our tour guide was amazing great energy he explained everything from the origin to the present and we booked a tasting it was good too I learned so much from it there is small snacks available for purchase too and a gift shop

The tour was so much fun and the guide had incredible energy. We enjoyed it so much and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting San Juan and has never done the tour. You will get to try the Bacardí and hear the entire story of how it all started. Great experience!

Went on the rum tour and it was an amazing and unique activity that you have to try if you’re in San Juan. Our tour guide, Jo Jo, made it such a fun experience honestly!! She’s incredible and definitely deserved some recognition for making the whole tour and rum tasting a very great experience for the whole group!

Truly amazed by the history of Casa BACARDI. The legacy tree and the explanation of the bat as a symbol was enlightening. By far the favorite part of the tour was the mixology class with JoJo!! She was fun and insightful. Its hard to believe she had only been with Casa BACARDI for just four months. My family had a great time!

I had a great time here. Bacardi is one of my favorite rums. Our guide was wonderful and had lots of energy. I learned so much about the history of Bacardi and was honored to be able to sample the special reserve, only found at Casa Bacardi. So Mamis and Papis, dont hesitate to take this tour!

The tour does not take you to the distillery. Offers you a drink on arrival and takes you through a room where they show the history and the first used distillers , photos and a lot of propaganda about the company.But the most important thing is to see the distillation process nothing. Propaganda and drinks very superficial the visit.

A must tour experience. Jojo was the best tour guide I have ever had. This was our first time here and she made it pleasant and fun. They are smart because once you have a buzz they also sell empanadillas. Lol The best experience ever. Thank you again!

Did the mixology class/tour. Great experience and great products... was not like what I remembered 5+ years ago as a lot of things were renovated or revamped for the better but our guide/bartender made it everything as he was hilarious.Went back a second time a year later with a bigger group and had the pleasure of having the same bartender. The class size was huge so it was difficult for our party to stay together but still a great time.

you get a cocktail at the start you can come a little early enjoy the grounds. a few dollars extra you choose from premium cocktail includes a souvenir glass. tour is nice not much walking just enough info to keep you engaged. our guide was easy on the eyes and entertaining.

This review is for the tasting tour. Can’t believe this is rated so high - $75 dollars for a 5 minute tour and tiny sips of rum? SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS?We got about a 10 minute tour where we only were told to look at buildings. No tour of the facilities, no look at inside of any buildings. Why go to the effort of putting us on a trolley?The sipping of the rum was the best part literally 100% because of our tour guide. She was incredible. She brought the life to the tour, 100%. Without her it would not have been the same. That’s why when she mentioned tipping and gratuity at the end, my heart sank. $75 PER PERSON and she’s not paid a wage that doesn’t require to ask for that?The rum was great. The online billing mentions a chocolate pairing - this was one tiny little bite at the end, not pairing per sip.Overall I wish I had actually seen more of the compound, processes, and behind the scenes. For a welcome drink and five sips of rum, $75 per person was not it.

I loved it from the start to finish. We started with drinks while waiting on the tour to start. We were greeted by Will. The history was interesting but Will made it so much more fun. Can’t express enough how much Will made every moment fun while teaching interesting facts about the Barcardí history.

The tour was a lot of fun- we did the mixology part as well and Will was a fun and fantastic tour guide! The drinks were really good - both that we made and that we purchased before/after. It’s a really nice place to hang out. I suggest the earlier tour to get more time to hang out in the area.

Going to Casa Bacardi was one of my top experiences when being in PR. If you ever go, make sure to ask for Jacob! He is an awesome tour guide! You’ll love his energy! Definitely coming back for another tour!

Great time at the rum tasting this past week! Learned a lot about the history of rum. Our host was fun and informative (forgot his name but he was the bald guy). The rum was amazing, we gained a new respect for Bacardi!

Amazing experience! Great tour guides ! The tickets are only $30 per tour. I recommend the legacy tour. You get a taste of the reserve premium rum found nowhere else in the world. Friendly staff & great sight seeing.

It was a very pleasant experience. Our tour guide Michael was fantastic! We did the Legacy tour and learned a lot about the world famous Rum known as Bacardi.

I loved the highball that was mixed and loved the pavilion. I did the rum tasting tour and Jacob was my guide. I love his fun and engaging way of hosting and was able to learn a lot! I’ll definitely visit again for the mixology tour next time I’m in San Juan!

10 out of 10 recommend both tours were a blast our tour guide Michael for the rum tasting was extremely knowledgeable and very great at giving the tour hope to come across him again. Also our Mixology class was exceptional and our guide Alondra did a fantastic job bringing high energy and excitement to the class. Those two employees are truly people that everyone wants to have on their teams and hope they are recognized for their efforts of exceptional service. The cost is a little bit but it is well worth it in what you will experience and bring home.

Very nice tour, especially for the price! The tour guide was really passionate and we learned a lot about the history of Bacardi. Would definitely recommend. One star removed because the welcome cocktail was not that strong or tasty.

So much fun! We did the Mixology tour with a group of friends and it was a blast. The tour is not much to write home about, though our tour guide was excellent. You wont see the plant in any meaningful way. Its basically a visit to the family pavilion where you learn about the history of Bacardi and sample some of their higher-end rum.Highlight is easily the mixology class. Its set up cooking-class style where everyone has their own mixing station to make a Mojito and Pina Colada. Our tour guide had so much energy and flare that it made the experience way more enjoyable than we expected. Definitely the highlight of our vacation to Puerto Rico. I would absolutely do it again!

I had an incredible time from start to finish. Included in the ticket was a drink served at the welcome pavilion. Our tour guide Jacob was excellent in providing us with the story of the Bacardi family, starting in Cuba and moving to Puerto Rico. Next, he taught the group how to make a mojito and a pina colada. My suggestion is to have a little food before you start the tour.

We went on the basic rum tour but probably should’ve done the mixology class as well. We had the BEST tour guide ever! Thank you Jacob! He was educational and extremely knowledgeable during our time there. Highly recommend going and request for Jacob if you can, you won’t regret it.Get there early to take your Instagram photos and to enjoy all the fun games and the pavilion.

Fun place. The 20 dollar tour does not include an actual tour. Was still fun having cocktails and roaming around the grounds. Cocktails and empanadas were delicious.

We did the rum tasting tour, and had a blast learning about the origins of Bacardi rum and all the different methods and practices that go into making it.Our guide Ed was incredible, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work and kept us laughing the whole time.I’d recommend this for anyone who loves great spirits.P.S their mojitos at the bar in the outdoor staging area were some of the best I’ve had on the island. They’ve certainly nailed the recipe 👌

It was such fun. I highly recommend the mixology tour. $75 but worth it. Enjoy! Best if you Uber or taxi there, if you know what I mean 😉

I’d recommend this for a group or a bachelor / bachelorette but it ultimately is a tourist trap. We did the mixology class which it said didn’t include a tour but our guide talked to us in the museum they made for tourists. The mixology class is held in a little newly constructed classroom feel. It was fun but just felt forced overall. It’s a conglomerate. If you love tourist attractions go for it. If you want to feel like a local- stay away.

Super informative and so fun. Jacob was awesome as a tour guide and the knowledge he has is amazing !! The only reason for 3 stars is I went there solely to get an engraved bottle as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the machine was broke. I inquired about it prior to our flight to the island and was told we could get it engraved. If I would have known that we wouldnt have gotten the engraved bottle we wouldnt have took the tour as we chose this over something else. So Im dissapointed but the tour guide was amazing and definitely out of his control, I just wish they would have let us know that the engraving wasnt an option so I could have made a different choice.

I think my expectations did not meet the reality of our rum tasting tour. I was expecting an inside peek at the distilling process and learning more about the science and the production of rum. It was more rum tasting than tour. I have done many types of tours like this and this one just missed the mark. They do a lot of “telling” and not a lot of “showing”. Admittedly, part of my disappointment was based on my expectations. The rum tasting and the tour guide were nice. For the price, I can’t say that I would recommend this to anyone you can probably just get a bartender to pour some shots for a lesser price tag.

It was awesome! The rum tasting was incredible! Yes, we splurged and got a bottle of the rum that you can only get on the tour. Its incredible, my wife , who normally doesnt drink rum unless its in a mixed drink, enjoyed sipping on it. Jacob was an awesome guide, my wife thinks hes cute as well! Do yourself a favor and take the tasting tour!

Edwin lead our tour and mixology class. He brought to energy to the party and gave everyone an exciting and fun adventure. Like he said life is about the journey not the destination.

Since we were a group with small kids and people who don’t drink, we chose a basic plan $23 including taxes with which we got access to the welcome area, free drink and empanada and access to the store. Doesn’t seem much but with right set of people it was a great experience and we ended up staying there for more than 3 hours, we have ordered multiple drinks and played group games.Loved the relaxing environment.

Whats a party without BARCARDI??!!!!!!🥃If you go to ANY TOUR here, MAKE SURE YOU EAT BEFORE YOU GO. YOU WILL BE PARTAKING IN THE BARCARDI RUMS. Our tour guide was Alondra, she was great!!! I found our that chocolate goes will with Barcardi, well at least the chocolate there did😋

I was hoping to join the tour but it was already sold out, deciding to buy tickets for the bar experience.Overall, I tought $20+tax was a little overpriced, but it was still worth visiting here and I was glad to come!! I loved the whole reluxing vives and photogenic view.The ticket included• Choice of Mojito, Daiquiri or seasonal cocktail• Empanada (You can choose fillings)• Access to the Gift Shop• Free ParkingThe cocktail came with a cheap-looking plastic cup, which was a shame, but the taste was good. They use fresh mint and limes.You can upgrade your cocktail by paying extra few dollars (uncertain but $3-5), which gives you a souvenir cup and another choice of cocktail including frozen pina colada.Empanada was OK, but not great. (It didnt matter for me though.)

Did the Rum tasting tour and it was so cool! Jacob was the best guide ever! He was so knowledgeable and funny. The bar outside was cool and the rum was magnificent! 10/10 🙌🏾

This tour was 🔥the best! Interactive, informative and so much fun! Jacob was our tour guide and I swear I’d go 100 more times just so he gives us that tour! The beeeeeest!

The Mixology class at Casa Barcardi was a fun experience. I would say the tour goes off the energy of your guide and our guide JoJo had unforgettable energy! She made the tour so enjoyable. We danced, sang, and celebrated. that was my first time making an alcoholic beverage and it came out better than some of the drinks I’ve had. I made sure I drank all of it before we left. I can’t wait to make this recipe for my family/friends at our next get together

Little expensive but worth the trip to say you been there and tasted the rum in PR. Even thou they stole it from Cuba. 😂😁🤙Good things about tastings is you can try all the products with out having to buy the entire bottle. So all in all great experience and got to sample some expensive rums.If you make it this far you need to check out Bay View Tiki Bar. Its an amazing local joint on the outside of Bacardi. Good food and closer to water and amazing views!

I was hesitant about this tour/visit BUT I was definitely wrong! We had a blast! We booked the rum tasting with couple of our friends. We arrived about 30min early to take photos and enjoy some free cocktails. This place is very spacious and lively I do recommend it. In that tour I had learned so much about Bacardi history and the process of making rum (it is a serious!)For COVID concerns employees wear masks and they make sure you get hand sanitizer before entering the establishment.

I took the rum-tasting tour. I have never tried rum by itself, & didnt realize that there were different kinds. Its definitely getting used to..I havent converted 100% from wine but will try rum more.. Plus, we had the Best tour guide.. She was funny, sarcastic, and knowledgeable.. She made the tour. Ask for Alondra.

A nice touristic area of Puerto Rico. We went for the rum tour and our tour guide was amazing! All drinks were really good, but Special Reserve has that magic touch especially with chocolate. In the end, having a cocktail with the view of El Morro is a great finish to a great stay in House Bacardi!

Ill keep it simple and say you grow an appreciation for Bacardi if you never had it to begin with. The tour guides are easily some of the best. Props to them.

This was a fun experience. We went to the mixology class and hung out for a bit after. The bartenders were very friendly despite being really busy. The drinks we had were made very well. The empanadas at the little shop were also delicious. My only recommendation would be that if you plan on hanging out and getting another drink before or after the tour get your tokens when you check in.Really great experience and tour. 10/10 would recommend the mixology class as they keep it fun
