Casa Africana in Windhoek

Soggiornato presso Casa Africana al mio arrivo e poco prima di lasciare la Namibia. Buon punto di riferimento per chi arriva dallaeroporto, facilmente raggiungibile con un taxi evitando il traffico della capitale. Personale gentile, disponibile e sempre sorridente. Pronti a rispondere ad ogni esigenza. Camere comode, bagni spaziosi, colazione abbondante.

Stayed here for 4 nights, 2 nights either side of my trip whilst in Namibia & it was absolutely perfect. The comfort, quality & cleanliness of the rooms & lounge/breakfast areas were top notch.Nothing was too much for the staff who were always on hand to help & assist me during my stay.

Friendly staff

Superb quality

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Casa Africana und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, ein kleiner Pool war zum Abkühlen vorhanden und das Frühstück war gut. Das einzige was uns gestört hat, waren die teils etwas abgewohnten Möbel im Zimmer. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Wir waren 3 Freunde die 13 Tage in Namibia auf Fotoreise waren. Die letzte Nacht blieben wir im Casa Africana. In diese Anlage kommt man nur durch klingeln durch ein Rolltor. An der Rezeption wurden wir von der Chefin und ihrem Sohn herzlich begrüßt. Wir haben den Check-in vorgenommen und bekamen für drei Personen zwei Zimmer. Diese Zimmer sind alle komfortabel eingerichtet haben kostenfreies WLAN und einen LCD TV. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und es sieht alles ziemlich neu aus speziell das Bad. In dem Zimmer gibt es einen Kühlschrank einen Wasserkocher und Tee und Kaffee zu direkten Zubereitung. Da wir uns noch die Stadt anschauen wollten blieb uns keine Zeit den Rest der Anlage uns anzuschauen aber es gibt einen Pool und ein Restaurant was sehr gut sein soll. Die Chefin hat auch dafür gesorgt dass wir morgens von einem Taxi was sie abends zuvor schon vorbestellt hat abgeholt werden. Ich kann Casa Africana uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Enjoyed our stay here much more than when we first arrived in Windhoek and started in a different part of town at another well known guest house. I found our room really clean and well presented with a huge bed. The host was really welcoming and cooked us a lovely meal that evening.

Own cooking facility except no table or chair for two no dishes or toaster and two single beds do not equal a double.

What a well organised place to stay. Affordable. Rooms have been redone and is looking good. Breakfast was all you need. Eggs, bacon, coffee. Nothing was short. Staff friendly. Will stay here again when in Windhoek.

Really great place to explore Windhoek from. Really exceptional staff, fantastic location, reasonably priced. And good Internet!

We were 4 friends who stayed at Casa Africane over two periods in November 2017. We all agreed that this was a hotel perfect to our taste and needs. The rooms were nice and very clean, and the staff very friendly and eager to do a good job. Also the kitchen served very nice dinners and healthy breakfasts to your own choice.We believe that the totally nice and friendly atmosphere is to a large degree due to the competent management by the very professional, nice and friendly hostess, Annelien.
