This is a great date spot! Delicious food, good service and they had a little couples game to play. There was no rush for us to leave. The impression we got was they really want you to enjoy yourself and relax.*Make sure you make a reservation.

I love everything about this place! We were visiting friends who met us here from Bend and I found Carson’s on accident. The food was incredible. The staff were delightful. Overall the experience was one of my best dining experiences ever. We don’t live in GP but would certainly return to share a meal here. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The first thing that will strike you when going into Carsons is the lovely decor. The decorations are fun. The lighting is subdued and fun. And the tables are all lovely wooden tops. Then you will undoubtedly be captivated by the amazing staff at Carsons They are a delight to be around and take great care of their customers. If all of that doesnt have you overwhelmed with joy, then wait for the food. It is amazing. Your gourmet friend will nod approvingly as they stuff their face with maybe some happy grunts when they catch their breath. And your heathen friend will find food that is tasty without being too scary. Then after youre stuffed with all of this food and love you will have to pick from an awesome assortment of dessert options. Give them a call - to see if they can squeeze you in.

Absolutely perfection from beginning to end. Food was amazing, atmosphere was Great and the chef and his wife came out to see how we liked the meal, the Waitress was all smiles and professional 😀

Great atmosphere, amazing food and service. Every bite was full of flavor and everything cooked to perfection. Seared ahi, Thai chicken, and grilled cheese with tomato and leek bisque. Definitely returning.

Carson’s wrist was broken, but the food was still incredible. We made a last minute reservation on a Wednesday and had not just a great meal but a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is cute, quiet and intimate. The staff was friendly and laid back. The chef came out to greet us and tell us the specials. We got the ahi tuna and the spaghetti squash. Both were exceptional.

I had pot roast linguine. Awesome. Pot roast was as good as the old Yankee PotRoast . I make my own pasta so I could tell this was from scratch.

My mother-n-law werent sure what to try, so we shared the main entrée of our meals. She chose the Oven Roasted Brisket with House Made BBQ sauce and I chose the Maple Mustard Glazed Pork Loin. They were both delicious. Everything on our plates was packed with flavor. My husband chose the Asian Ahi Nicoise Salad and he loved every bite of it. Three of us tried various desserts and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend you and your family try this amazing gem of a restaurant.

Wow!! This was amazing, delicious food! Portions were generous and the pricing was very fair. They have the take-out dialed in for these strange times!! Yummy brisket that was tender, well-seasoned and moist.

Very cozy atmosphere. Food was awesome, service was great. I had the mushroom potato soup and grilled cheese. The soup had many flavors but all just the right amount. And they have a very cozy bathroom 🤓

First time here. Our server, Brenden, was excellent. Ordered the brisket and will definitely get again next time. Coconut Creme Brulee created by Jolie was one of the best Ive had. Well be back.

We just visited Carsons for the first time and were beyond pleased. Every single thing was impressive...The atmosphere, the food, the service, everything.Our server was extremely helpful, funny and made for a great experience. I believe his name was Shawn. Best little place for dinner in grants pass! This was our first time at Carsons. It was a great meal!Amazing artichoke dip, two fantastic entrees, I had Greek linguine and dont skip dessert! The peanut butter pie was incredible!

While getting a tattoo at 26 Swords, my artist Linsey,highly recommended Carsons Bistro over any other place. We went that evening,and we were not disappointed at all. I was able to switch out noodles for spaghetti squash on the most wonderful dish I have had!!! The Chef came out and talked with us and told me exactly what was in this wondeful magnificent sauce!!..Absolutely the best dining I have experienced in so long. Now if youre in a hurry go somewhere else, otherwise if want quality food, cooked fresh and the best wait staff and Chef along with an astonishing intimate atmosphere, then this is your place!!

You walk in and it is decorated romantic with dim lights. Its not a large restaurant but I will say the best looking in Grants Pass. I didnt get our waiters name Friday night 11/15/19 @ 5p.m. but I will say hands down the absolute best service I have ever had in this town. He knew the menu and what he liked and was able to recommend many great things. He waited on us like your suppose to. He kept our glasses full, plates cleared and checked on us all night to make sure we were good. He should go around and train the other waiters and waitresses in G.P. on food services 101. Kudos to him he was Marvelous. If that wasnt enough the food was amazing. The seasoning was perfect and paired nicely with each dish. The homemade pasta is to die for the chef did an amazing menu. All 4 of us had something different and will say this was the best meal in G.P. The wine selection is the best in town. I was so excited they served Bordeaux which you dont find often and it was the best Ive had in a really longtime.

Serving staff is not only friendly and on top of their game but professional, personable, and knowledgeable about menu items. Selections are seasonal, well paired, hands down mouth-wateringly delightful, and made with love. Great food, pours, company & ambiance in a convenient downtown location. Couldnt ask for more, cant wait to be back!

GREAT FOOD. Great atmosphere. Great service. We are impressed. We had the gourmet baked macaroni-n-cheese as an appetizer and that would have been enough to satisfy our cravings but then we received our entrees. I had the salmon and my wife had the meatloaf - both were killer. This is our new go-to place for a nice dinner in Grants Pass. Prices were reasonable for finer dining.

This is the best food in Grants Pass. The pasta was handmade from scratch and so delicious. The service was so good and wonderful and friendly! I only visit my grandparents in the area once a year, but this meal is making me think I should visit more. I am a a huge fan and recommend it highly. Get the primavera pasta! The veggies are fresh and local! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!!

Ive been here with my husband about 10 times, and every time we leave beyond satisfied. The spinach artichoke dip is absolutely killer, and I dont even like artichoke. We also think the staff are great people, never a bad experience. Its like eating with your favorite people on a secret garden patio...even though youre indoors...and the address is clearly listed online.

Never had a bad experience here, its like eating at a friends house that just happens to be an amazing chef. Nice QUIET atmosphere where you can actually talk without shouting. Home style comfort food to upper end steak or fish done in a great non pretentious way. Amazing deserts if you have a sweet tooth.great selection of beers, wines and a nice cider. Our familys choice for a special occasion or quiet evening out. 5 star service from the nicest people.

This place will knock your socks off! Jolie and Carson know how to create ambiance. They definitely follow through with amazing food and service. Ahi and Chicken Pot Pie specials shown in the photos. The standard options are on point as well. All soups made fresh on the spot. This limits my yearnings to dine elsewhere.

Great food, excellent service, casual and comfortable atmosphere and we did not wait at all for our entree. The attention to details was extraordinary by all the staff. Had dinner there last night. Food and wine were delicious and the ambiance was very nice but the service was super slow. Good job we were not on a schedule as we were there almost 3 hours!

We walked in and the atmosphere took us right in. The hostess (co-ownerwas a delight. Her enthusiasm for the restaurant radiated and infused all around! The food, OMG, was over the top. My companion and I had the Prime Rib. We are quite sure niether of us have had any better, with a combined experience of 146 years speaks of its self! Were waiting now waitingf or the highly recomended chocolate peanut butter pie... yummmm!!!

I live here now but I am from Alberta, Canada, the land of the best beef in the world. I had a steak at Carsons tonight that was delicious! Exquisite. Attentive, personal service, beautiful, delicious food and a whimsical atmosphere. Fresh flowers in the bathrooms even!I love this place! I wish it was open late so I could get some midnight snacks:)

We just ate here last Friday evening and it was phenomenal!!! From our friendly server Joilee(sp?To the wine and beer selection to the good to dessert, it was a pleasure!!! Grants Pass is blessed with this restaurant. We both had the Cobb salad with butter lettuce, bacon and bleu cheese along with their own buttermilk dressingsoooo good. All their breads come from a Jacksonville bakery and gluten free and delicious!!! We opted for the tri tip on top for a nominal fee....was Smokey and delicious also...desserts were creme brulee and the famous chocolate peanut butter pie!!! What a great dining experience! Carson also buys a lot of his ingredients at the farmers markets around the area. You can tell attention to detail even with the fresh flowers on the tables. We will be back again and again!!

Wow! Incredible! Literally the best food Ive eaten. We had to share as each one of us kept saying how amazing our meals were. This will be the best Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup, Meat Loaf... you have EVER eaten. The tri-tip and steak were excellent as well. The appetizer was a symphony of wonderful flavors and food. Atmosphere was very nice, but comfortable. Peanut-Butter Pie with Saltine Pretzel Crust, Chocolate Pound Cake with Balsamic Strawberries, and Vanilla Bean Sundae, with home-made Caramel and Chocolate Ganache. The service was excellent. Great touch to have the chef come out to speak with you and check on the food (who would do that).(The Food above deserves to be capitalized when its this good)
