Carr's Lookout in Warwick
Description
Privilege
Well worth the short drive up from Queen Mary Falls, as is the entire drive further north and south
MoreA beautiful view to the east so well worth the stop if youre driving that way. The car park is about 60 metres up the road.
MoreExcellent view of the valley and surrounding mountains.
Beautiful view from Carrs Lookout. Only a short drive after the park and Cafe shop.
MoreIt was a cool and crisp morning but the sunrise was perfect.
Great views and easy parking access.Worth the stop.
this is a great lookout allows you to see the surrounding area clearly and easily.
MoreSo beautiful. Always breathtaking views
Great views from platform, pick your time as weather has a big effect on outlook and road is not suitable for caravans
MoreWas a tad foggy when I arrived.. Didnt see too much at all!
Amazing views and great driving experience
Great view. Parking is about 70m away from the platform.
Good lookout, roads are not bad considering the rain we have had.
Gorgeous views looking north over farmlands, with mountains beyond.
Vast open spaces...... relaxing the soul.
Pretty little look out. So quiet and peaceful. Could sit here all day
Great lookout. I have stopped here many times. Beautiful views and a bollard with pointers on top to identify various landmarks.
MoreRenew the story board. This area is brilliant.
Beautiful lookout. Beautiful rolling hills with a vivid green pasture. Its a shame that when I remember to take some pictures, the weather had turned.
MoreVery pleasant lookout to stop at along Spring Creek Road near Killarney.
Beautiful short stop. This lookout is a short walk to the amazing view. Does not have a lot of parking space, but usually not very crowded.
MoreBeautiful spots to stop and enjoy on the way out to Carrs. Drive carefully, its a bit twisty and gets narrow at times, and enjoy the peaceful countryside.
MoreNice place to visit. I will need to come back on a sunny day
What a view, worth the drive, tricky to get to and can miss it if going down the range for the first time, park in the lay by and follow the wooden walkway, nice stop with a seat to take in the views
MoreAbsolutely lovely drive and beautiful lookout. Well worth it if you are into long relaxing drives.
MoreIt’s definitely worth to stop here to enjoy the panoramic view! The drive between Queens Mary Falls to Boonah is really beautiful as everyone has said and recommended. The scenic country views, nature, bird’s song… just enjoyable. There are still several spots that you can stop to look at views and take pictures on the roads, too. The road is 60km speed. It’s not too fast so that you can enjoy the scenery :)
MoreLovely views well worth the stop for a breath of fresh air.
Good to view in the evening. Beautiful sunsets
Spring Creek Road is narrow and twisty but worth the effort, the lookout is a nice break from driving. Some off road parking nearby, with short walk to the boardwalk and lookout. Every time we have been here previously it has been overcast or raining, today was magnificent.
MoreThis a great lookout, well worth a quick stop.
I didnt realise until I visited in a recent trip but this lookout and the plaque reference my great-grandfather, Squadron Leader Mason, who died in the plane crash in 1955 into the side of Mt Superbus. It was incredibly interesting to read about the history, and see the view. Further up where there the spot to park also has some great views of the other side.
MoreFantastic lookout with breathtaking views
Beautiful view. Is a nice area to get an overview of the scenery, A little overgrown though. Enough parking for about 10ish parks....
MoreOne of the best lookouts Ive ever discovered
Beautiful views even on a foggy day
A must see spot if you ever out that way. Beautiful view of the valley.
Amazing views. Easy walk from limited parking
Stunning spot to stop and look over the hills if the Condamine River Crossings arent open, and youre still trying to make the most of it!
MoreWhat an unexpected little stop. Right on the border looking back toward Brissy. There is nothing her but the lookout on Spring Water Creek Road.
MoreStunning views!Great little Cafe.
Pull over as soon as you see a carpark and walk along the roadside until you reach the board walk to the viewing platform. The lookout has a bench to sit and take in the scenery as well as an engraved plaque featuring a map of the region as positioned on a compass. An information board explains the history of the area as well as another map of the regions water systems and landscape.
MoreGreat drive up thru the hills, view is pretty spectacular, if you come from Boonah way the road is very narrow so stay left on corners. Drop into Scenic Rim Brewery on the way home at Mount Alford great beer and food. Good day out.
MoreLovely views 👍 Breathe some fresh air and get blown away by the awesome views here. You can see soo far all around. Bring your binoculars, or zoom lens because the landscape stretches for kilometres. On a clear day, you can see off into the distance. And its a great opportunity to forget about your stresses, and just be in the moment. 😎
MoreA beautiful location especially because theyre is a cafe not far from this look out! It was a great view for 7 in the morning you will more than likely in counter wildlife such as turkeys kangaroos and wallabies! A must visit place!
MoreGreat view across valley to Mt Barney, Mt Superbus and others. Could see bushfire smoke in four areas from NW to the east. A thick, building plume that looked like the slopes of Mt Barney.
MoreSpectacular views north into Qld with Main Range flanking to the west and Mt Barney National Park to the east. Good parking area just short of the substantial lookout platform with informative signage of the expansive vista. Nearby Spring Ck Cafe just a short walk from the lookout serves magic meals and coffee too with equally specky views from the balcony and gardens.
MoreLovely views, a little bit chilly but so nice and quiet.
An amazing drive through some of the most beautiful country side. Well worth it
simply beautiful views well worth the visit with coffee in hand from the spring creek cafe
MoreA good lookout with a spectacular view. The parrot green landscape was awesome. The road from brisbane to here is narrow, uphill and winding and have to be very careful, specially for sedan and small cars. Plenty of encounter with the cows on the way as there are no fences. Small car space but very quiet area.
