Its a 24 stop over near a permanent pool. Theres a toilet. Most of the campsites are down on the river bed and there is loose sand to be wary off. Bring your own firewood. It was a nice cool pleasant place to spend the evening.

Great overnight stay, beautiful swimming hole and birdlife. Just beware of soft riversand that you dont get bogged. Toilet there too

Caroline Pool, access via Halls Creek via gravel road heavily corragated 19klms out. Camp ground, toilet block with beautiful Aboriginal artwork. The pool was dry at the time I was there. 42•c, recent bushfires. Would be spectacular in west season. Mountains all around. Birdlife, rubbish bins.

Caroline Pool (a very pretty spothad very little water in it when we visited. The area was very dry. There were a few people camping. This is only one of several places worth visiting on a day trip along Duncan Road from Halls Creek.

May 2018. Very little water ATM, not ideal for swimming. Creek bed is dry. Has drop toilet, and 24 hr only camping. No water.

Presently little water, looks just deep and clean enough for a quick dip. Beautiful walk along the riverbed. Camping allowed, toilet and rubbish bins available

Swimming at this pool is prohibited due to Naegleria fowleri "the brain eating amoeba"
