Carneiros Beach - in Carpina, Brazil
Flabbergasting! One of the most beautiful beaches Ive ever visited. The translucent, calm sea is ideal for bathing, safe for elderly and kids, astonishing views/scenery, and the cutest Chapel by the beach make our the perfect place for holidays or just a weekend. Lots of nice places to eat, beautiful cosy B&Bs. You wont want to leave!
Its very nice beach and you can do several activities
I really liked this beach because we could walk to the reefs and my kid loved the fishes and playing in the shallow water. The nearby beach club provides good support and a kids playground. Unfortunately, and like most places in Brasil, it suffers from an exaggerated amount of people trying to sell you lots of stuff. It feels threatening, annoying and it stressed us out when we were just looking for peace and a fun time in family.

The beach itself is mesmerizing, the waves break with the clearest of sounds, the sands are white and clean. The nature is, on itself, a small extension of idyllic heaven on earth. The three stars come as low as they are due the same reason of the christianic myth: us.People are everywhere, even on a low-season day as this visit (midweek, no holiday, no vacation season, highest of precipitation chances). Music obsfuscates the waves melody, trash litters the beaches by the resorts, bars, and kyosks. If you enjoy the loud and lousy company of other human beingd, take my rating as if it was a 5/5. Otherwise, stick the other, less mercantilized and equally paradisiac, beaches nearby.

Ok
I was in the beginning of Abril and pretty disappointed. To call this the best beach in the area is insulting. Our beach direct in Porto de galinhas was much cleaner and more beautiful. Not sure if this is normal but in our trip the water was pretty ugly and dirty. How ever, there are some surrounding places which are very beautiful. For me was only a medium experience and there are many more beautiful places to go.
Amazing peaceful and beautiful
Awesome place. Awesome beach. One of the most beautiful views, the low tide makes it even better. I wish everybody coukd have the opportunity to come and feel the vibe, the warmth of Brazil and Brazilians. What an amazing country!
One of most famous beaches in area with all time famous church on beach which you probably saw on pictures...it maybe wasnt like on the pictures, nevertheless it was good, crowded but still nice so it would be a shame not to visit it if you are in Porto de Galhinas...its part of the tour which I didnt find very interesting but hey, at least it was a day spent on the beach and boat so Im not complaining...after all thats why I got there, to enjoy the sun and beach...
If you are in Pernambuco, you should definitely visit this paradise. Carneiros beach is such a beautiful place and I would love to return for a longer stay.
Great fun. Beautiful place.
Beautiful beach with stunning views. Just avoid crowdy and overpriced Bora Bora. Bring your sea shoes to walk corals.
It is an excellent beach, but mostly occupied by private resorts !!! Theres Bora Bora which occupies the prime spot for Natural Pools, but theres Bijupira having a great beach front.
A must visit. Beautiful view and a wonderful experience
fantastic place. of natural beauty!
Its nice and peaceful. During low tide, the water becomes very calm because it is protected by the waves by the reefs
The most cristal clear water in the whole area.A pitty to see lots of people selling all kinds of stuff by the sea.
Simply beautiful! Amazing place!
Really bad place to go. Not sure why it’s one of the points here. There are other beaches more beautiful and comfortable in Recife and Porto de galinhas area. The boat trip is just terrible. Short stops on meaningless places. The mud treatment is just not fun.
A little touristy, but all in all a Gorgeous beach to walk up and down. There is a day use parking at Bora Bora, and a great little coral barrier you can walk on and see urchins when the tide is low. Very calm waves, pretty water, and soft sand
Amazing beach with coconuts and a clean beach. Avoid the hassle and the crowd close to Bora Bora
Wonderful beach! Definitely worth a visit.
If you are looking for a desert beach to relax, sipping a cold beer and a typical Brazilian sea gastronomy, this is a must in terms of travel. There you can relax in cozy hammocks or beach chairs, plus take a ride in Catamarãs, which are boats that sailing through the sea, visiting the most exotic places nearby Carneiros beach and are provided with bar and music on board. Furthermore, you can jump into the sea in a few points of the ride as well as walk where once it was the ocean, when the low tide. I recommend for both kids and elderly people, there is car parking or, if you prefer, there are tours available in Porto de Galinhas. Enjoy.
Carneiros Beach or Sheep Beach is a still an almost-deserted beach, with a few houses, bars and hotels. The turquoise water is warm and calm all year long, and the sand is fine and light. The beach is full of tall old coconut trees swaying in the breeze. The main attraction here is the 18th Century Chapel of São Benedito, which sits right on the water’s edge. It’s postcard perfect and made to order for taking some beautiful photos. There are not a lot of activities in the area—this is more of a “relax at the beach” kind of a beach. If you’re staying here, there are a few really good hotels to choose from and there is at least one excellent restaurant here (Beijupirá). There is a bar from which you can join a catamaran tour to some natural pools. Many folks come here just for the day from one of the many beach towns up and down the coast, like Porto de Galinhas (32 miles north or an hour drive), Maragogi (south about 33 miles or an hour drive). Whether you decide to stay here or only come for a day, you will be glad that you did, because it is unforgettably beautiful!
Beautiful place. I will always have wonderful memories.
Wonderful and relaxing time. Warming water. Expensive, very expensive, but it is ok once in while.
Brazilian Paradise. Can be expensive the stay, but if you are just passing by... PLEASE, STOP THE CAR!!
We took a boat trip to a sandbank and towards the river and some beaches. The beach itself was busy. But it is really beaytifull.
Lovely nature. We stayed at Bora Bora and it was fantastic. Good food and drink options.
Stunning beach!! Just beautiful...I dont recommend the catamaran ride. Better enjoy the sandy beach and the warm water
Beatiful place. Probably the best place to visit if you are in Maragogi for example. Not so far and verrry nice beach. Go take a boattour with a private driver and enyoy the mangi close by and the beautiful old church.
Wonderful beach and infra-structure. Excelent option for South Pernambuco turism.Easy do access by car. Payed parking-lot but it can be free if you do a boat Ride which is extremely recommended.
Nos estevemos no Bora Bora. Como resort tem 4 estrelas. Esta muito lotado e voce tem que pagar por quasi todo. Tem varias actividades para fazer e a comida é muito boa. As a middle-age European, I dislike the resort. Too structured and classy with a VIP area with people paying an extra fee to stay in comfortable and fancy beds and tables. If you are looking for a wild and relax spot at the Carneiros beach, this is certainly not your place.
A very beautiful place. Clean water to swim and see the bottom. Nice place to visit.
Beautiful place with a lot of beaches to visit and swim. It is one of the most visited places around Porto de Galinhas, PE. Another must visit place.
Awesome place with really nice views from the beach. The beach is clean and organized. Bars and restaurants are clean and with a really good service. I recommend anyone whos first visiting to take the boat trips offered by locals to show other beachs and places on the surroundings.
What a day. Perfect beach wheater did not helped, but a must
Stunning place with golden sand beach and light blue sea. Its a little paradise.
Beautiful beach, white sand and refreshing coconut water. Look for Iran (guideif planning on going in a boat ride.
A beautiful beach, especially when the tide is low!! I sure recommend a visit!!
Some of the best beaches Ive ever been to. Be sure to catch a boat and take a tour, a great tour for family and couples.
The beach is just nice, on one side is windy and clean, on the other one is quiet but dirty. Nothing to do with Caribbean sea!
Its a beautiful place to dive and watch the sea life
If I can sum up everything I experienced at this fine beach that would be "Amazing"! But dont tell others about it as I have plans to return in the near future and would like to meet it the way it was back last year. Best beach I ever been within Brazil.
