The quality of service is good and expected, yet the staff exude friendliness as well as efficiency. Maintainance and cleanliness is also excellent. Well done management and staff, as well as owners.
Good location and pleasant facilities.
Thank you to everyoneClose to everything stuff is very professional
Wonderful place. Breakfast is very rich and delicious
It was a short visit. But, I enjoyed my stay at this property. Rooms, services, location excellent. I will definitely go back.
Very nice hotel with a great breakfast.
Good service at table and nice meals preparation at la Cucina restaurant
In good locationHave a nice viewBig Hall
Spacious rooms and great staff
Great location, good food
The Good:The room we were given was spacious. The hotel is in a nice part of town. The staff are clearly trying to be helpful (but it does not always work). Good breakfast. The Bad:The worst part of the experience started at check-in, we were charged the wrong amount. Mistakes do happen, so that part is not an issue on its own. However, instead of rectifying the issue smoothly, I found myself in a series of nonsensical conversations about why we should be charged $100 more than the ~$870 number Booking.com showed me when I booked. It would be a waste of the readers time to go into the details here. Ill just say that the people at the reception desk kept explaining the difference as a currency conversion issue: they were essentially converting from Dollars to Shekels and back to Dollars, giving the hotel the $100 advantage over the price Booking.com have me. In the end, talking to the manager on the third and last day of our stay is how we ended up getting the issue resolved (and we managed to get an additional ~$100 off), but the experience was a rather bizarre one.Cleanliness was another issue. While surfaces were very clean, I suspect the floor had not met a vacuum cleaner in a while. The hotel is in a Muslim majority country but it does not seem to accommodate the needs of Muslims. For example, there was no pointer to the direction of the Qibla, there were no prayer mats, and there was no bidet or any reasonable alternative to that. This is a real shame and should be fixed promptly. Moreover, in several places signage related to emergencies was in Hebrew which is neither the local language (Arabicnor an international language of communication (e.g. English). There were a couple of other minor issues like the iron and ironing board that were coming right away but did not arrive and the lack of cleaning on our first day (it took some nudging on our side for this to happen).
La Cucina restaurant on the 16th floor is world class in food and the views from the windows are magnificent, the staff and management will go above and beyond to make it a special occasion every time.
Should aware of clearness bit more
doesn’t worth five stars because the team needs experience in dealing with guests The old man at the reception desk He looks at me disgusted way and did not even smile in my face ..I felt for a while I’m homeless when I talked with him He was looking at me while he sitting on the computer looking at me above his glasses. I worked as a hotel manager for 8 years. According to my experience, the receptionist should stand when he talks to guests. And the thing that angered me so much, the old man was screaming at an employee inhumanely in front of the guests and this is completely unacceptable.
Beautiful restaurant on the 16th floor . Good food nice view and friendly staff
The service and staff are very helpful .. the rooms are spacious but the cleanliness needs some work and hot water in the winter is available but takes a while. . Yet its the best in Ramallah
The room was not clean. Especially the bathroom. The shower was full of hair from the previous guest. The same with the bed.
Beautiful hotel and view to see all of Ramallah, great amenities as well.
The security/valet person was very very rude. He yelled at me and spoke to me in a very insulting way.. why? Because I asked for help finding a parking lot for my car although I showed him the special need tag on my car. He insisted on making me park elsewhere.. not only he didnt help he also insulted me. This was my first time entering the hotel.. and my last.
The food is Amazing! The service is good and they have quick reception. The staff are very nice and welcoming.
We were stay at this hotel at September 2019 when we visited Dome of Rock. All the facility was excellent. We stayed at executive suite for 2 days, and im totally impressed😍😍. Check out my photos so u can imagine how big our room at 15th floor located
I would say this is the best hotel in town. In terms of location and services. It is located in the best neighborhood with easy access to everything.Every staff member with whom we came in contact was attentive and kind. They are very professional, kind, and helpful. We really enjoyed the food and service in the hotel restaurant, also they arranged for special oriental meals requested by my kids, which was a real bonus for our vacation.Staying in Carmel hotel actually enhanced our vacation experience in Ramallah and they really have an amazing team made us feel home.We had a wonderful two months there, and I would strongly recommend this Hotel to all of you.
Nice.. clean.. interesting stay.. also Havana club is cool
Perched on the top of a hill you’ll enjoy beautiful views over the city of Ramallah and its surroundings. Rooms are clean and spacious with standard decor. Corner rooms have large panoramic windows. No balconies and no outdoor sitting area. Good breakfast with a large buffet and an in-house restaurant serving tasteful food. There is also a gym and an excellent spa. Overall, great service and friendly staff.
Its good place for work and business 👍👍 but for relax and enjoy i think its not good idea to check in 🧐🤕
Five stars Hotel, Spa and Turkish bath.Resturant at a high store level.Suitable for business meeting.
Hotel very clean, maintains guidelines, spacious and clean rooms, rooms have coffee corner, refrigerators, cable TV, change of linen and clean the room daily, courteous and dedicated service at reception, do everything to meet requirements, quality room service 24 hours, there is a restaurant with Food on a level, and banquet hall, there are hookahs in the restaurant, ample parking
A hotel where elegance is at home. The staff is kind and professional. The rooms are spacious and clean. Delicious food. I recommend!
high internet speed, they care a lot about the hygiene, the employees are friendly and help you as they can, the decoration and room spaces are incredible
The place was way of my expectations.I really enjoyed my time, the place is gorgeous amazing.(Quit, clean ,staff are helpful, amazing people , service more than 10/10, fresh delicious food, breakfast buffet huge and a lot of kinds)Recommended 10/10
Beware, No gym and no heated pool. I am writing this review while I am still at the hotel for the weekend. We made reservations for 4 rooms to have a weekend with our family and friends but the amenities presented at the website do not exist. The pool was freezing despite the fact that the staff claimed it will take care of it, 4 complaints and 8 hours later and the pool was never heated. The gym was closed and according to the receptionist it is closed every Friday so dont count on it for a weekend. I will not come back here
Carmel hotel in Ramallah, perfect accommodation , located up Masyon mount in Ramallah. Very nice rooms , well designed, very large and comfortable. Perfect service, perfect breakfast, quiet , 10 minutes walking to the hall city . Ramallah is a culinary city with various restaurants and coffee shops serving high quality and tasty food from the best of the Arabian-palestinan cuisine .
Bonsai Spa: The place is fancy and clean and the staff are helpful and kind. The problem is with the lady in charge. She cares so much about money and almost forces you to accept an offer. It is really uncomfortable and this is why I wont visit the place again.
Great hotel. You will love it. It isnt far from the city center. Almost 15 minutes to it.Food is good. The pool is good. It is inside pool.
We have been working with Carmel Hotel for a good time now, and every time we get very good service and special treatment. The staff is very helpful and cooperative which makes the work with them very easy. We hope to continue working with each other in the future.
Nice hotel. Brand new hotel covers all expectation. The service foods and rooms are great. The hotel is so clean, the staff know their business Very well.
After two weeks here, I can say that three stars is a fair rating.Pros: Service is friendly and professional. Rooms are a good size and have a nice view.Cons: Housekeeping is weak. My room was rarely cleaned to a basic standard and my bed sheets were only replaced after I literally stripped the bed one morning. While the hotel breakfast is nice, the other lunch and dinner options on offer are sub-par.Given the option, I might consider an alternative during my next visit to Ramallah.
New clean hotel. Very nice and large room. Amazing view from my thirteenth floor room. Very delicious buffet breakfast.
Opened in November 2017, and its a good hotel. Clean, comfortable with good Wi-Fi. I was on the 14th floor so water pressure for the shower was low, but it worked. The only downside is breakfast - a surly "chef" that essentially couldnt cook...scrambled eggs boiled in oil...and that typically confused buffet that offered an array of unappetizing food. Much better food at the hundreds of cafes and restaurants in town.
Finally, a much needed addition to good accommodations in Ramallah! I was there for a conference. Very clean and well organized place. The food and beverages were very good! Stadf were friendly and helpful.
The Carmel hotel is one of the best hotels I ever tried, Its first impretion was great throughout the front entrance passing the reception. And going through the food service experince it was great and last but not least it is a very clean well kept hotel. Thanks to all the staff.
Greate menu and delicious food, the sweets are average but the place is nice and sparkling cleanThey have a parking and free wifiA bit more expensive than peer places
Best Hotel in Palestine. I give it 10 out of 10 for every aspect except the small parking and the narrow car entrance where its a bit dangerous if you dont take 100% caution while exiting.
A shining star overlooking all of Ramallah. Excellent staff and service combined with large super clean rooms makes this the perfect base for business and personal travel in the West Bank.
Super friendly and efficient front desk staff. Comfy and clean room with great views. Highly recommended!
The bed was VERY comfortable. The staff were great and very accommodating. The hotel was in close proximity to everything. Highly recommend!
Superb facilities and service levels beyond expectations. Very friendly staff, great food. Conveniently located near the Yasser Arafat square (huge market). My room was large in size and with adequate amenities.
Its a brand new 5 stars hotel. Exceptional staff, very friendly and helpful, good rooms gym and cafe. Well decorated. Breakfast buffet needs some improvement. Hopefully when they are fully operational this would improve even more. Best regards to Rose at the front desk.
DO NOT go there for a dinner! It is ridiculously overpriced! This is Ramallah not New York, wake up people! The food is Ok, but does not relate with the price. The menus is poor and the ingredients are not healthy neither fresh.Besides, we asked the waiter for a non smoking area, he put us exactly near a table with two guys who are smoking non stop, it is filthy and polluted and waiters are sketchy how do they treat you.Bottom line, they built this hotel and it is obvious it cost a lot, so they will make you pay the price!
Honestly one of the best hotels in Ramallah. Has great views of the city and the country and is one of the tallest buildings in Ramallah. The location of it is very convenient as it is close to many supermarkets and upscale restaurants. Also it is close to the city center.
