If u want to get a nice breakfast in south beach Miami that’s the place! Omelettes are delicious and prices are okay too. Service spot on , our waiter was really nice and accommodating. Muchas gracias

Stopped in for breakfast because tables were cute and staff was friendly… glad we did. Refreshing, hefty mimosa and delicious, fresh breakfast. Server was super attentive and hospitable.

If there during lunch, GET THE CHICKEN & WAFFLES! Be sure to order with honey mustard… thank me later.

Foods ok not extraordinary and the drinks are too large to order unless you plan to get tipsy. I the bathroom are filled with ice so if you plan to pee make sure to stand away or get some splattered. Soap in a single ketchup bottle? YupLastly it took forever ever to ask to ask for the bill . Wont be visiting again

This facility is at ocean drive, south beach. Just at the side walk. There is a lot of foot traffic. If you are like me and enjoys seeing south beach crowds, it’s excellent😁I got a 20 oz Corona for 14$, it was cold enough in a hot day. Soda was not carbonated enough, not from bottle or can, probably from fountain and sweeter than usual. Our server was nice, they are busy and you have to find them to get their attention.Fries were not as crispy and fresh as it would be.

Location perfect on Ocean Drive. The expresso was ok, the smoothie too but the pancakes below average; overall expensive and you pay the location. Service was fine.

This place is sooo Miami Beach! Just a pinch of quaint alongside the beach.It’s right on the strip. The food selection is rustic & authentic Italian.Our waiter was attentive, sweet and gave great recommendations.Our food was fresh, delicious & definitely memorable.When in Miami Beach GO HERE!

I loved the food here! It was super delicious and the drink was very strong. Mind you that is a small size but it got me quite tipsy. Service was nice and polite. And its very cool how close it is to the beach and the view while you are seating is nice.

Stopped here for some "Birdcage" nostalgia! Im guessing the movie was of its time and many of the clientele wont have heard of it! The location is fantastic and it was a busy day for the staff. The decor was quite basic but fun. Staff were very sweet ( even to some particularly difficult customers). Drinks were higher priced & not quite as well made as the Cavalier.

Justo is the best server I’ve experienced on Ocean drive. He’s incredible, attentive and very nice. More servers shoukd be like him. Also the Strawberry Daquari and Mango Mojito were very good and amazing value on this street

Seafood tower is where it’s at!!! This South Beach icon is worth the wait. Enjoy the people watching. The drinks are made for 2 or very alcohol tolerant people. The wait staff is attentive. We had C Tomas and he did a great job. The seafood was fresh and plentiful to share as a meal for 2. The night was made perfect with good music and lighting. Definitely recommend and will be back.

We were 6 people and were seated immediately. Food took a little long to arrive but we were also starving: Friendly staff, excellent flavour and presentation of meals and ambiance was perfect!

We got excellent service at the Carlyle. Jordan was our server and did an excellent job and we highly recommend this place for drinks and eats. We are from North Carolina and if we visit here again we will come here again.

The food was great and the service phenomenal. Ask for Nicolas if you come here, very friendly and attentive. I got the lobster and shrimp pasta and it was delicious, the paella was also very good.

The waiters & additional staff were lovely & helpful. The large cocktails are huge! Honestly the size of my head - and delicious. A must-do.

We got excellent service at the Carlisle. Jordan was our server and did an excellent job and we highly recommend this place for drinks and eats. We are from California and if we visit here again we will come here again. GB

Great restaurant on south beach. Lot of outdoor seating. The margaritas are huge. Probably why it costs $25. I could barely finish it. Fish tacos were great. Wings were ok. But service was pleasant. Would re visit

Amazing atmosphere and good service. As a fan of The Birdcage, it was outstanding to be able to sit and have a good meal at the iconic location. The server was awesome and checked on the table often. The food tasted good and the drinks even better.

Carlyle Cafe Miami, ehh food was okay, we sat outside, it was pretty cool outside due to the rain! We just went here for the Big Bowl Margaritas which were soooo good!! The bowl literally coverd my face!! The food was okay needed more season for me! Paid over 100$ here die to service fees which was 20+ and on top of that a City Tax plus what our meal was.

Everything was pretty sub par. I had to get my drink exchanged out because there was something in my drink that I dug out. I had to explain to my waitress/ bartender the issue like I placed the item in the beverage myself. So annoying. Food was okay, a little pricey for a burger and chicken parm.

Really good cafe in the middle of a fun street. The food was really good and the atmosphere was fun. Only improvement could have been in having the server come by more often we waited for about 15 min for someone to bring us menus and water after we sat down.

We ate here for dinner. Good food + drinks. Me and my boyfriend split tenders which were really delicious and tasty. Fries were really good too. I got a Mango Margarita and everyone else got a piña colada they were on point mine tasted sour at first but I just had to mix my drink around. Definitely don’t mind coming here again. Although our waitress was MIA for a bit. Overall I rate this place a 9/10 🥳

SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY....Aside from the good atmosphere, the service was horrible, the over priced margaritas had no flavor nor alcohol. The waitress was non-existent and kept forgetting stuff but the kicker is they charge a sales tax, city tax and service charge so she still got paid for bad service.

Visited Miami Beach and my friends and I decided to eat here . We had to ask someone to take our order instead of them coming to our table . We waited 20-25 minutes to have our order taken. After that , we had to wait an additional hour for our food to arrive . We tried to get the attention of the waitress , she saw and she walked right past us . We had to ask other workers to check on the status of our food about 5 times before it arrived . We were about to leave until we complained to the manager . Food arrives , we didn’t even receive everything we asked for and the food seemed rushed and they had the nerve to add gratuity to our check . All in all , we argued to have our bill decreased because our waitress didn’t even check on us once she took our order and she didn’t provide us hospitality. There were patrons who came after we were seated , got their orders taken , got their food and left before we even could get ours . Carlyle cafe , treat your black paying customers better . All your black PAYING customers were waiting forever to be served while other races got served in a timely manner .

Margaritas are pretty much non alcoholic but prices suggest top shelf. Service is poor and slow. All the fried foods were over cooked

The food was great. My carbonara was delicious. However the service was absolutely terrible. Were just a couple of college students so we werent going to be getting any of the more expensive menu items and as soon as he realized that he became so disinterested in us and barely gave us any attention. There was no respect and he just distractedly rushed through taking our orders. He rarely came by our table to check in.

Make sure you look good at the menu, the tip is added to your bill even if the service is bad.The service was terrible,,I ask 3 people for hot water one did not understand english,the other said he do not give out hot water, then third person gave me hot water. Food was nasty, bathroom was nasty, no paper towels to dry hands, had to use toilet paper, no hand blower, hand soap was missing the pump,nasty floors.They do not care about the customer all the are trying to do is get money. Thats my opinion.

I really enjoyed my visit. If the beach is busy i suggest requesting a table on the patio instead of the sidewalk. You dont want people to be walking by while you are eating. I love South Beach and this cafe is in a great spot. The staff is great and so is the food. I will return!

Food was good not out of this world considering the price but the location is smack in the middle of Miami Beach front so of course the prices are hiked up

We stopped at Carlyle Cafe for lunch. What sold us was the 2 for 1 drinks so naturally we got the giant cocktails which cost $25 for 2 instead of each. The pina colada and mai tai were both tasty. However the food was disappointing. For $20, the fish tacos were over priced for over cooked, dry and not much flavour to the food. I’d definitely come here again for drinks if they are offering 2 for 1 but I would leave food for somewhere else

Great place, and reasonable prices. I went here twice while i was in south-beach and Carlos and Henry were very pleasant to help us out and provide details for the deals of the day. They were able to give us the best price on most of the menu items that other places on ocean drive were charging almost double of it. I give this place 5ve stars since everything from food, service staff to drinks was excellent.

I see all these bad reviews, but I had a great experience here. It is good for what it is, drinks and people watching. Dem dranks were great! The costs here are comparable, even a little lower, than most other places on Ocean Drive. We got two huge drinks for $38, with 2 shots. They advertise it as buy1get1 and 2 free shots. We also ordered a few appetizers that were good. Service was great and clean bathrooms.

The service too slow, once we got the food, it was cold. Didnt mind all that until we got the ticket for two piña coladas and one seafood mix of 3 shrimps, half lobster and 1 thin stake and veggies. Oh and that time the food was half off...ridiculously over-priced.

Very disappointed over priced food! As per other reviews they are very tricky with pricing! Pork chunks and roast pork are presented and prepared differently! I specifically asked the waitress how meat was prepared , i was assured that it was what i wanted to eat(pork roasted with skin on)...of course it wasnt! After food was brought out waitress purposely avoided the table....no problem..this plate is on you ! $25.50 for pork chunks not freshly prepared, beans out the can and a small scoop of white rice....so hungry right now!
