Took forever to bring the bill. When they brought our drinks told us they were alcoholic ones despite ordering non alcoholic mocktails

Risotto was a little bit watery and the breaded Mozzarella was rather bland but my son enjoyed his food so we are going 50/50 with this rating.

Actually such a bad experience from start to finish, had to hound down and ask for service every time, I had to remind them at least once every single time we requested anything (drinks, sides, sauce, the bill)Staff were very uninterested, felt like a pain rather than a paying customer. The food… The bread board starter was stale. The anti pasti plate was awful and tasted chemically the lasagne was tasteless and mushy! Slopppp! Have had better microwaved ones and the grilled lamb was bland and chewy… Never again, would not waste my time or money returning.

I enjoy going to Carluccios and have always had a great experience. However on this occasion we only popped in for a cuppa. It wasnt great, service was painfully slow and when it arrived it was without teabags. Not a great day!!!

Disappointing experience this afternoon. Had a lovely starter and the waitress serving us was lovely and extremely helpful. Didn’t catch her name but was there at around 2pm.Whilst waiting for our main courses we could hear a lot of banging and I was sat directly facing the kitchen. The chef was shouting and banging things around, throwing things on the floor and causing a scene which was extremely distracting while trying to have a nice meal. This continued for a while and eventually the chef threw a pan onto the stove and walked off following an argument with what looked like the manager. We decided not to stay for our main courses as there was very little care going into the food and the management seemed to start taking over the cooking. Spoiled a nice afternoon as we had come out for a celebration with my parents for their anniversary. Felt awful for the staff, the poor waitress seemed extremely upset I’m guessing from how she had also been spoken to. Shame as been here previously and had a lovely time.

Food was good, if a little pricey for some of the portion sizes. Some of the items came a little later, with some sides not coming out until a few mins after mains but otherwise good service. Staff were polite and helpful and food was very tasty.Due to pricing, one for a treat rather than a regular meals but would go again.

Came here recently for a lunch time date with my partner, the thing that killed it for us was the service, as if we where being rushed - even looking at the desert menu the server returned and we had not made our mind up because she had just given us that menu. we feel a little more focus on customer care and not the rush in rush out we experienced here.

First up, top service here. Very nice menu - pizza, pasta, salads, steak, antipasti - all you would expect. Great outdoor seating, with awnings in case of rain. Spotless toilets. Wine in small and large glasses, carafes and bottles. The montepulciano goes nicely with the steak. The bolé white by the glass is ideal to kick things off. Would definitely come back

I usually always order the lasagna from here and it’s tasty. Today I finished a hard day at work and was looking forward too having a takeaway. The lasagna was £13.45 and I’ve had to leave it. It was hard with no taste or flavour. (Ive left it so I don’t chokehowever the tiramisu was lovely as always. Shame I had to pay £20 for a tiramisu. Consistency really needs to happen as the food is usually stunning but the last 5 times I’ve eaten here. Two have been really bad.

Nice food, clean with good service. With 2 italian eateries closed in the near by Touchwood centre this has given Carluccios a pretty much clear run in the area. Lasagne was first rate .Nicely cooked and tasty. Served quickly and hot. Lemon cake desert was nice too. Rich and tangy with a nice blueberry sauce. But I can cope with the food prices. The drink prices are a rip off £7.45 for a large Peroni and £3.35 for an average size bottle of water prove the point.Great food but excessive drink prices

shocking... Waited 3/4 of an hour For a vegan breakfast that was cold. When we sat down the Couple next to us was just having their breakfast... When I noticed the man had eaton his pancakes but the Lady had left her hole breakfast.I watched the so called chief pick the tomatoes out of a container Which must have come out of the fridge because they were freezing. The avocado smash was nice, but who cant smash avocado and ad lemon juice and pumpkin seeds the toast was burnt how can they get it so wrong.A cooked breakfast means HOT FOOD.

Our waiter, whose name was Jake, gave us brilliant service. We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. He was so sweet to both me and my girlfriend and we really liked our experience. Would 100% recommend the whole restaurant, especially the dessert recommendations!

Recently came for a birthday meal with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our server was called Jake. He was not only professional and efficient but such a laugh and kept us entertained during our visit. His knowledge of the menu was great, he even helped a few of us decide our meals through his recommendations after getting to know us and our likes/dislikes and allergies. He is a great asset to the team, we will be visiting again!

What fabulous staff at the restaurant today. My father became unwell and had to lie on the floor until an ambulance arrived. Not an ideal situation for a restaurant, but handled with compassion and professionalism by the staff. Excellent food too, thank you so much!

Visited this Carluccios restaurant in Solihull yesterday for lunch and was rather disappointed with the main meal that my wife and I chose. Having had the Lasagna Rainbow previously at their branch in Leamington Spa, we decided to have again as it was delicious. Unfortunately, what we received yesterday was nothing like as good. It was stodgy, rather dry and lacked flavour. Felt rather let down with this experience as we had been looking forward to it.

Walked in for lunch on a busy weekend. We were seated quite quickly and service was smooth, friendly and efficient. Particularly impressed that even with a handover of waiting team, our new server was aware of our dietary restrictions. There was space between the tables so it didnt feel cramped, the restaurant was also clean, two essentials for COVID times. Last but not least, the food was delicious, we stayed for desert :-)

First time here and I will definitely return. Attentive waiting staff and delicious food. They were busy but went the extra mile. I noticed an elderly lady on her own who was treated very well by one of the waiters. My salad was beyond delicious. Also worth mentioning is that although it was very busy, it was not noisy so good for anyone with hearing issues.

Was keen to revisit this favourite chain since it was brought back from administration by the Birmingham based Boporan Group. They have done it proud. They have elevated the look and taste. Impressed with the value of the 3 course sub £15 menu (available before 6pm). Each course tastes vibrant and fresh - starter of antipasti was a real winner. Superb coffee and hazelnut gelato - Loved Mocha too (photo- gert lush!!! Proper food - simply done and very tasty. Great service too at the Solihull branch. Will be back.
