Carlos is amazing, hes been cooking food on this corner for at least a decade - great guy, always nice, smiling, and the food is amazing and always at a good price (especially now a days!)

The jalapeño cheddar is amazing! Carlos is also super friendly. I only wish these were available on the weekend (though, for the sake of my waistline, thank goodness they’re not!). 10/10 recommend while in Downtown StL

Im kind of skeptical of street meat but the guy at the stand was fun and friendly and sparked really good conversation while preparing the food. The chip bags are small and the soda is can, but its to be expected at a hotdog stand.

I just moved to the city from Memphis. The food in St. Louis is very underwhelming in flavor. Carlos is the best place Ive eaten in St. Louis since being here.

Carlos is a downtown icon who is friendly and serves up the best hot dogs in St. Louis, better than any that Ive had in New York. Great for a quick bite that you can take with you to Kiener Plaza on a nice day.

A friend and I went to see Carlos and his delicious spread today. It was the juiciest hot dog Ive ever had. Freaking good. My friend got a polish sausage and thought it was phenomenal. We will definitely be visiting in th future!

I started working downtown in April of 2013 but didnt have my first beef kielbasa from Carlos until almost a year later. I regret that time I wasted.From my first bite I was hooked. These things are HUGE, and probably the best bargain going downtown when it comes to a meal. You get a 10" flame grilled beef kielbasa, a bag of chips, a can of soda, and a snack of some kind for $8. Be careful though, Its MORE than enough food for lunch and might put you into a food coma when youre done.I visit about once per week now.My meal of choice? 10" kielbasa with extra "moms sauce", extra hot sauce, mustard, and onions, Red Hot Riplets, a Pepsi, and a Twinkie. Perfection!
