Nice, modern clean premises. Food was as expected and to our satisfaction and reasonably priced. Service was good and in reasonable time.

Great food when you are in a rush and running late for your dinner.

Food was good, just takes awhile to get your meal

My card was charged $25 for an order that I never got and when I made a complaint .The person i spoke to over the phone promised me that i was going to receive an instore voucher via email which never came and no answer Carls Junior just ignore my messages now .

Missed 1 part of our order but quickly sorted the problem.

Reading half of these complaints just shows how greedy someone can be like do you not feel bad for their staff not having breaks and you cant just complain about staff like its their fault they hire new people and people will either just call sick or probably not show up sometimes you have to just think about the staff before having a little tanty over your food like stop being lazy and go cook yourself something

10 min to even be served. All appear to be moving at snails pace, and look to not at all want to be there. I get with covid food outlets are finding themselves under staffed, but an hour for cold food? Been here many times without a problem, but this may be the last.

Went here today with family and couldnt eat in as they had barricaded the seating area off with cones. Asked if we could sit down in there to eat and they said no without giving a reason and didnt seem to care. I believe that they just didnt want to do any extra cleaning. The kids got some fries and we took our business elsewhere. We are locals and will be informing others about the service (or lack of).

Seemed to be very under-staffed, took half an hour to get one meal and when I got it the fries were completely cold. Went back to the counter to get new ones and they came out only just warmer. Got money back, its a shame, the staff were so friendly and apologetic about the issue. Never again im afraid. Might have to re-lable themselves as "slowfood".

My meal was rank!!! Off lettuce!! The meal took 35 minutes to make! And the place was full of rubbish no clean tables took my meal home to find my meal was basically frozen (the chipsnever ever goTo this store ever

Really lovely manager on duty when we went it. He went above and beyond to make sure our table was clean and the seats clear of rubbish before we sat down.Friendly staff and delicious food.Such a treat

Went in store to order got given my food missing chips, asked for them nicely lady was really rude about it she ended up giving the chips and to drive all the way home to realize instead of the cheeseburger Ive ordered Ive got a chicken burger??? Not what I asked for

Very slow service. To there credit they knew that they were taking way too long to process the order and dropped in a extra cheese burger and a drink.Doesnt help when you only have two staff working and neither are showing any urgency while another takes a break while customers wait and wait and a manager sitting there who can see whats happening but waits way too long to take any action.But the food was tasteless. CJ at Hornby makes a better burger.CJs in NZ though no where as good as CJs in other countries.

Great service, great food and good selection but expensive. Not so much that they are more expensive than others, I think takeaways in general are over priced now.

Great place to have a quick bite. I love their burgers as they have quite a good range of flavours and types. Their loaded fries is one my favourites. Plenty car parking, clean toilets, friendly staffs and quick service. Recommend.

The food is always good, fast and hot. The service is great and the vanilla scoop shakes are the best I’ve had bar none. Sometimes it’s hard to find a clean table when it’s busy but overall a good restaurant.

Order was meant to be done by 5.30 from online order. Now 26 mins after that time my food just been sitting waiting getting cold. And still waiting for it to be packed up. Never again will Ill use you guys again. 3 staff for peck time poor things

Good beef burgers if you stick to the classics, chips are either over or under seasoned.Would give more stars but this is the third time they have forgotten a burger.(I remove a star when they remove a burger)Not bad price wise and reasonably quick.

No lemonade in the post mix x2 didnt gove us deit coke x2. I should have checked before leaving.

Had a combo with no fries and try to contact the shop the number is always busy. And maybe someone can tell me what that is

Stock standard Carls Jr, same quality and value that you find anywhere in the country. Staff were great and the restaurant was clean no complaints here!

Its a cozy place, with good burger meals. Lacks in menu for vegans or vegetarians. Overall good place to eat. Free Wi-Fi and power outlets for charging device. Both Indoor and outdoor seating available.

This place is being run into the ground by the people running/ managing it. Staff having their break in the restaurant doesn’t sit that well with me, especially when waiting 20 minutes for a meal but being the only customer in store. For the love of god, prioritise your in store customers over Uber eats !

service was excellent the lady that served me was very happy and helpful to everyone that came in when I was there it was really awesome to see

On the 14/02/22 at 2030 I witnessed a few people being turned away of being served saying to customers “sorry we are closing.” While ordering they only gave us the option to takeaway when there was still people eating indoors at the time. My friends and I witnessed two staff to be unprofessional behind the till handing each other under their breathe remarks while serving us. When leaving with our food - they turned away multiple customers and their families with no good reason when it says on the door they close at 10pm Mon-Fri. They also locked the doors while Customers were still eating inside so others could not get in. Staff were very rude in informing people of the fact that they were closed. Saw a lot of disappointment faces today - but on a positive note the food was good !!!

Mr Portobello & Miss Carls catch with Crisscut fries were awesome. I was served by Briar and she was very Polite & Humble. She listened to my order & repeated to make sure everything is in order. It really made a big difference in our day.

Enjoyed the food, but it was raining and there was a stream of water coming in the door ( obvious building issue that must happen all the time), no staff tried to clean it up and my son slipped and seriously hurt himself. I called them to advise of them and the staff really didnt care.

Meal was excellent. I made a mistake with order and they didnt charge me for the incorrect burger. Good stuff, i will be back.

I had a great experience where one of the ladies working went above and beyond to make my experience great! I havent experienced this level of service at any fast food place before. Plus the food was great as always.

It was delicious. It made me wonder why we still go to Maccas. The food just is not comparable. To be fair, its reflected in the price, but so worth it. If you are reading this, break the habit. Its worthwhile.

Walked into order some food and I rudely got asked to put on a mask I was looking for my exemption on my phone I told him I was looking for it then Josh carried on being so arrogant towards me. I felt like walking out his manager then took over serving me whom was very nice and polite towards me. I wont be going back to that store again he needs some people skills. Staff that do that lose customers.

Great service from the girl working, checking passes taking orders and table service. All the time remaining friendly and courteous while quite busy. Great asset to the company

Changed my review. It should have been a red flag when the lady in front was complaining her usual order was like $15 more than usual. I went to buy my usual which is one of the cheapest combos to find out they had whacked an extra nearly $3 on top. I left it at 2 stars because the service is usually decent. But I wont be coming back to this greedy food chain. You lost a regular customer.

Service was slow- 10min wait for "fast food" and they werent busy. One of the burgers was amazing, the other one was ok. Would definitely try the again though.

Pretty good, the burgers are quite nice (I recommend the Jim Beam burgerand I think the food is worth it for the price. The service is mediocre at best but no one seems to clear the tables, I always have to search for a clean table. Food is good, service is okay and atmosphere could use some work.

Burgers were nice but chips have skins on. And I think Angus patties have shrunk a bit

Tidy restaurant, they make the food to order so its a little slower than other fast food. I was expecting it to be better but it was pretty similar quality as far as I could tell. Staff were friendly. Prices are a little more expensive than their competitors but not by much

I ate a Famous Star and it was delicious. Fries are good and extra cheeseburgers are super cheap.Edit: I wanted to give a 5 star review and I see I already had done so. They are so good I felt compelled to give another 5 stars :D. Not only their burgers are great, but the staff is as well. Love the place.

Good service, decent fast food, quintessential greasy fast food (as it should be). They no longer have the indoor salad bar, and their milkshakes are now just disappointment in a cup. In spite of this, Carls Jr is still my favourite fast food joint.I fail to understand how McDonalds is remotely successful while Carls Jr exists. My tacit assumption is that people are conditioned to expect disappointment so when a meal is served without it, it just doesnt feel complete.

Honestly I dont write many reviews but this dining experience was something esle! It took too long, not fast food at all, the fries were cold and the burger was very very average!!. Super disappointing as it was my first time at carls Jr and it will definitely be the last. If I could give it zero stars I would.

The dining area was close in level 2. Only open for takeaway, the staff was friendly and polite and it didnt take long for the food to come out. First time trying it, not too bad. The chili fries tastes a bit like curry on fries.

Had a tower burger combo. it was good and i just paid 5.40 nzd which is very cheaper as compare to other places. This shop has a very good variety of burgers with nominal price tags. Situated at very prime location Bush IN. Stuff was kind and good. Interior of restaurant was amazing. If you are thinking for burger treat thn go to this place.

Burger Kings bigger, badder big brother.Flavour packed burgers, moist chicken and flame grilled beef. Good range of sides and drinks too.

Was a bloody great feed.. didnt mind waiting 20+minutes for our food either was definitely worth the wait, was packed for a Sunday tho. Good deals great meals, dine inn or takeaway you choose, go get some!

Got the Alabama Chicken. Not 100% sure if the chicken is actually from Alabama but regardless it was a nice burger, Aioli sauce was a bit over powering. Great service and all the rest.

Pretty good store, kinda small.Burger was good, got the Memphis double with a combo.Burger was only slightly under expected levels. Chips excellent.Not quite as good as the Palmerston North store.Would be better if they had the fill your own drinks thing going on here.Will return.
