Caribreeze Vegan Delight in Nanuet

I ordered two Jamaican patties as well as two LG dinner platters. One was the spicy jerk chicken; the other was the ribs. I grabbed two tings to drink and it was time to feast. Everything was awesome and the ladies behind the counters were the kindest of folks. Delicious!!

We stopped in randomly today. I had callaloo, rasta pasta, and jerked (veganchicken. There were so many good options. The staff warned me that it would be spicy, but I love spicy food an the jerk was a deep, satisfying spiciness. I loved it and we will definitely be back!

Amazing Jamaican vegan food that you can get! Highly recommended. The patties are fantastic and will keep you wanting to go back.

I stopped in today and was treated to some very good food! Goat curry with rice and red kidney beans also with Jamaican spinach. It was very tasty seeing how the goat wasn’t really goat.Mango sea moss smoothie was excellent. This is not my usual fare but it was very good.

This is the hole in the wall place I’ve been looking for. Had the most amazing, indescribable, flavorful lunch here. It was so good I couldn’t decide what to eat first and save for last. Can’t wait to go again and try EVERYTHING!!! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place! The food was comforting and full of flavor. This restaurant shows how good vegan food can really be. In addition to great food, there is a wonderful assortment of herbs and other health tonics. Best of all, the service is exceptional.

One of my favorite vegan places in NYC and NYC metro, the food is full of flavor and healthy ingredients. The owners are really nice and once dropped off mac and cheeze that was left out of my order. Id recommend the beefpie, ribs platter, and mac if you want to order all my favorites.

I wanted to love this place. The woman behind the counter was very cordial. I picked this spot based up the reviews and I do not feel I had the same experience they did.While the food did not make me sick, it was not tasty at all.I also felt that I was overcharged but I was trying to support my people.

The food here is unbelievable, incredible, beyond delicious!! I stopped by on my way home from a weekend trip recently and it was so shockingly good, I drove 1.5 hours back from NYC today to have it again, and got extra to take home. I’ve tried every meat there now and they are all phenomenal, although my favorites are the pepper steak, the curry goat, and the oxtail (in order). The beef patties and spinach patties give truly happy tears, the carrot cake is mouthwatering, and the mango smoothie is just so, so good. The lady who works in the front there is so kind too. :I will be coming back regularly for sure!

The food is so good and full of flavour! The small size seems small but it’s the perfect portion. They also sell various herbal remedies and smoothies. Both the workers were extremely nice and attentive.

We stopped by Caribreeze on the way to Cornwall and so happy we did! Everything we had was amazing from the moss-based smoothies to the ribs and spicy, spicy jerk chicken. We got two large plates each with three sides and took the recommendations from the sweet woman behind the counter (possibly also the chef? I shouldve inquired!on which sides to try, the Jamaican spinach was my favorite. We also got a side of mac n cheese because I cant ever turn down cashew based mac n cheese. We loved it all and finished the feast off with the most delicious carrot cake Ive ever had, vegan or otherwise! Next roadtrip we will definitely stop in!

Loved it! First time from out of town. Felt like home! Food is delicious and the people are soooo nice. We appreciate the service and hospitality. Made a fav location on my maps so when we drive through again, we know where were stopping. See you again on our next travels.

First of all, the people working there are extremely kind and give such a welcoming environment. I got the carrot cake and am LOVING it so far. It is so tasty with subtle hints of warm spices and very moist. I will definitely be back for a meal next time and of course... another slice of carrot cake.

We stopped and got dinner after a hike last week and my family got 4 different meals. All of them were so good 😊 ! Cant wait to make it out of the city again so I can get some more 3 bean chili with “ribs”, greens and a Jamaican patty. So glad you are using your love to make this delicious food. We ordered takeout from this wonderful place. My son and his girlfriend are vegan and they couldnt stop raving about the food.I will note here that their carrot cake is EXCEPTIONAL. Its vegan, and lighter than most traditional recipes. Its not iced. It doesnt need it, all we did was add vegan coconut whipped creme. We polished it off for breakfast the following day. Great place

I absolutely love Caribreeze, if you want authentic vegan Caribbean food made with love this is the place for you. Pat is such a sweetheart and she makes homemade fresh food every single day. Pat makes her mock meats and patties from scratch! Every time I order I make sure to stock up on the mango sea moss smoothies which are AMAZING.

Absolutely amazing authentic food and kind friendly staff. We travel from Westchester to eat herewhen available -try the pumpkin in coconut. Make sure you save room for a piece of carrot cake , super moist and delicious

Wonderful healthy food in a family run restaurant. I am so glad to enjoy the flavors of beef patties, oxtails, and curry goat without consuming any animal products! Made the drive from essex county NJ twice so far and Ill keep going. Owners are lovely and absolutely everything, including the desserts and homemade beverages, has been delicious.

The best vegan food I’ve ever had in America! You must try carrot cake, it’s just perfect. Food quality and price are great. I’ll definitely stop by later for more stuff.

This place is posted on Google as $ - low price, but youll pay $13 for a 6 inch diameter round aluminum container and $9 for a square smaller 4x4 one. It is NOT inexpensive! Ordered a "large" plate which should have included 5 items, and later discovered they put in only 4. Id say -- cheaters. The food was not that good either, and the place looked dirty. So you decide...

Looooovveeee this place. My partner and I travel an hour and a half from NJ to come here and it is worth it. The food is amazing and authentic. The jerk chicken is so good and spicy and the beef patties are the best. You couldn’t even tell it’s vegan. The owners are so friendly. We try to come every week now it’s seriously that good. Highly recommended.

Dont pass on this place just because its not your typical succulent in a mason jar type of vegan spot!! Caribreeze hits all of the flavor notes! I had their Vegan Ribs with Lentils, Plantains, Kale Mango Salad and Beef Patty. Fantastic! So flavorful, super filling. The woman behind the counter was so sweet! They also sell nice soaps, Irish sea moss, along with vegan meats to take home for you to cook yourself! Support your local spots yall!

The food and drinks are delicious. I love the mouthwatering combination of meat free food and Caribbean spices. The baked goods are delicious as well and vegan, while the drinks have ginger in them, which provides nice kick, when you drink them. My favorite drink is their ginger lemonade, made with brown sugar; it tastes like heaven. I highly recommend this place, if you love Caribbean food and your a vegan like me.

This place is amazingly good ! I ordered a bowl there the other day (peppered beef steak made from seitanand carrot cake. The bowl was soooooo goooood it was so delicious ! And the carrot cake is super fluffy and yummy too! And its got no icing which is even better!! I have been looking for a place that sells carrot cake without icing for so long and then I found out about caribreeze vegan delight and Im in love! Totally recommend it!

All of it was sooo soo good! Lovely folks in the restaurant. It was my first visit here & I will definitely be back. I had vegan steak, with cabbage and carrots, mango kale salad and curry potatoes, with vegan carrot cake for dessert. Everything was Flavorful & balanced. This is authentic Carribean food, & absolutely amazing. If you’ve never been, you don’t know what your missing. 💛

Amazing Caribbean food with home cooked flavor. I had the curry "goat", rice and beans, steamed cabbage, plantains, as well as a "beef" Patty and spinach patty. All were amazing. The patties especially were so flavorful. I also had gizarda and coconut drops. If this was closer to me, I would go there everyday.

Fantastic food and amazing service, I got the pepper steak and the bbq ribs w/ mac and cheese and jerk potatoes and it was all spectacular. By far the best carribean vegan food that we’ve had!!

Good vegan Carribean food. Small and large meal. $9 and $12. Small but decent selection. Some spicy and some not. This little eatery is on the main drag. Its not high society so dont go in expecting that but you know you usually get the best food in places that serve home-cooked like dishes.

This food is amazing. Definately the best local vegan menu. The jerk potatoes are out of this world, the woman at the counter was a sweetheart, and the man in the back was very friendly. I will without a doubt be back.

This place is NOT WORTH THE EXPENSIVE PRICE!!! The so called large dish comes in one of the smallest containers Ive ever seen. The food looks like kibbles n bits. I specifically asked for no jerk seasoning and the mean old lady yelled at me after she loaded up the container with the spicy jerk seasoning. She was yelling at me saying that I am pulling stunts and she never had a problem ever before. Really? What does you giving me tiny portions in a small container (they dont even have the nerve to fill it to the top, as small as it is filled with the very food I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR YOU NOT TO GIVE ME, have to do with pulling stunts? I would never come back here in my life. Much better vegan food in Rockland than to get verbally abused by a senile old lady who skimps on the food to fatten her pockets

I loved everything I ate here, especially when theyre about to close and give you a sample of everything they have left because theres not enough of one thing to make a full tin to take home. The best coconut desserts too!!! You can buy dried tofu meat alternatives to make meals at home.

My wife & I came across this amazing Jamaican Ital small homey feeling restaurant in downtown Spring Valley. We shared a sampler plate of all their main dishes. BBQ Ribs, Pepper Steak, Spicy Jerk Chicken, Curried Goat & Sweet & Sour Tofu all over curry potato & cauliflower, eggplant cutlets & Spanish chickpeas. It all tasted homemade as it was made with love. We even took home macaroni & cashew cheese & a beef patty. Delicious.All was with great service from this beautiful friendly lady/owner. Will be a regular at Caribreeze.
