WHY is it always a 20-40 minute wait?? Go to Starbucks/moka.

Really good coffee but the wait time is crazy long. Most days you’ll be in the drive thru for 30 minutes better to just go in a day when you have no plans.

Five cars in the drive thru took over a half hour ridiculous

Im a fan of Caribou, however, the wait times at this location are terrible, regardless if you walk in or use drive-thru. It is always a 20+ minute wait. Often, there are only one or two cars ahead of me and the parking lot is close to empty. I appreciate baristas as I know the job they do, yet I dont understand how the wait is so long when there are two people in line and barely any customers physically in the store. If I want Caribou, I know I need to get up at least 20-30 minutes early for work so I can get the coffee and to work on time. Sadly, I have stopped going to this location due to this reason. Skip this line and go to another coffee shop if you are wanting fast. tasty, and reliable coffee, especially in a pinch. The new Scooters is pretty timely!

About twenty minutes to get a cup of coffee in the drive thru. Excellent way to begin the dayUpdate 1 - tried them again. This time a 30 minute wait to be told they are out of bagels.

Have gone a few different times…the ONLY REASON I have gone back is because of the coffee…..BUT 40 min await in drive-thru…….40 mins!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst caribou ever. Weve tried it 4 times and every single time it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get an order. Im not talking 15 minutes. I mean like 45 minutes to get a drink and a breakfast sandwich.

Very nice place. It was late so I decaf coffee with a friend. Coffee was good didnt even taste like decaf. The place has lots of room to sit and many tables. They also have a lot of delicious looking baked goods. Life is very clean and the staff was very friendly. Its a very warming inviting environment.

I really like Caribou coffee! It is always tasty. Friendly staff.

I have tried this drive-through three different times and each time you sit there for about 20 minutes to get one coffee. I won’t be going back there are plenty other places with better service.

This was the worst coffee stop Ive had, 30 minutes for a cold pressed latte that comes out of a pre-made machine. I also ordered a scone and never received it.

Gotta say they lucky their smoothies boosted things are so good because I hate having to wait at least 20 minutes in line every time I go there. If you dont have a bunch of time to sit I recommend going somewhere else.

Changed my rating. Had an absolutely miserable experience with an employee named Shalyn. Have dealt with her twice, once I was buying beans, and when I gave her my phone number, she was very irritated with me and laughed at me when I left the store, the second time she accused me of "breaking" the card reader in the drive thru when I just took my card out early. Im actually afraid of her and avoid the store if she is there. Also much slower than it used to be. Waited 30 minutes for a drink and I watched the staff just stare at machines for most of it.

Good coffee and service when theyre open. Unfortunately, they randomly close, sometimes multiple days in a row. So you cant rely on them. Need to find another coffee shop that sticks to its hours.

Drinks are usually pretty good, but the drive thru line took over an hour to get 2 drinks. If they can’t accommodate a drive thru they shouldn’t have one.Update: tried coming back to this location to buy someone a Christmas present and went inside thinking it may go faster. I was wrong. When we were finally helped the barista said hi to which I replied hi back apparently she thought my tone was off because the eye roll and face she made after was a nice touch. Extremely short through the transaction as well and made it seem like she didn’t want to help us at all. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to this location. The service and wait time for anything here is just awful.

Ordered a hot chocolate for my 10 year old daughter. After we left, my daughter said it tasted like coffee. Sure enough. Good thing it was early in the morning…..

Been my favorite coffee shop for the past 5+ years, and that’s changing. There’s a couple employees with amazing customer service, but it doesn’t matter too much when you constantly get the wrong order and have to wait 20 mins to an hour at ANY given time in the drive through! I come here almost every day, and at least once a week, my order is messed up. I don’t even want to get back into line and wait another 30 mins for another coffee, nor should I have to. The guy with longer hair is amazing, always remembers my order and makes it great, with amazing customer service. Aside from him, I really see EVERYONE including and especially management needing to step up. Hopefully they get it together, because I’ll be back.

Literally, Onalaska, WI Caribou IS THE WORST location Ive ever been to. Slow slow slow. And to alleviate that, I tried ordering ahead on the app. That was also SLOW and they left off items they didnt have instead of informing us they were out of that item so we had to go back AND sit there for another 30 minutes while they made a substitution. This place has become a local joke.

5 Stars for the (courteous & professionalstaff and the (great tastingcoffee; 1 Star for management. Youve seen negative review after review about your drive thru for at least half a year now, and there has been no change. 25 minutes later and Im still the 5th car from the window. Moka sends staff out for orders, Starbucks is a breeze. Your customers and staff deserve better.

The coffee was good, but the drive thru took nearly 45 minutes to get through. It seemed like it was nearly 10-15 minutes per vehicle. All I ordered was a Ho Ho Mint Mocha and cake pop (which is pre-made).

Great customer service in the drive thru. I love it when they take my perks number right away and continue by addressing by name! Caribou will always be my fav! Great coffee & Great service!In regards to the wait time through the drive thru line: my personal opinion is that any waiting is just so worth the coffee! Ive honestly never even noticed any waiting time; it doesnt even phase me when Im greeted and addressed so kindly and professionally. If theyre taking awhile, I assume its because they are focused on making my coffee, and every other customers coffee, to their highest standards of pure excellence! I am treated as and the coffee tastes as So! Considering all of this, I cant review anything less than 5 stars. Thanks Caribou!

Always tasty but you wont get through the drive through in under 20 minutes. Other local areas that dont have automated machines do it faster.

Was in Onalaska for a bike trip, first morning was 40 minutes waiting for 2 drinks. The next day,, thought wed be smart by using the app and ordering 30 minutes ahead. in line right now and still waiting at 10:30 for a 10:10 PERORDER via the app. They need an overhaul to their efficiency process. Im not sure whats wrong here but corporate might want to get someone here asap to straighten this out.

Im very not happy with my experience at 9am on October 17th 2021. I sat in line for a hour to be told that there online orders was more important then the inside/drive thru orders to pay 6 dollars for my order to get a coffee that tasted like creamer and water blended. The rep at the door mad it seem like the inside/drive Thru orders where not important this is not expectable customer service 😑 😒

Person taking the drive thru order kept lapsing into long silences and not saying anything. Had to keep asking if she was still there.Then they made a Ginger Turmeric Tea Latte with COFFEE AND A TEA BAG. It was a latte and they added a tea bag. It was one of the more disgusting things I’ve ever tried. We were on the road and couldn’t go back to get it re-made. I love Caribou and will never go to this one again.If you ever get anything at the drive thru here, try it before you drive away.This was 10/9/21 at about 7pm.

Don’t recommend going here. I love their drinks and food, but to have the only option to wait in line in the drive thru for over 45 minutes to get a mobile order is not right. Sadly, this location has lost my business.

Superior to Starbucks imo in terms of coffee quality and flavor. Employees are great. My fav is a blended mint condition mocha with dark chocolate.

Waited 46 minutes for our 2 lattes. Drive thru didnt budge so went inside and it was packed. This is not acceptable for this type of establishment. Im not sure this location can handle all the business. Employees sure seemed to be trying to keep up but just couldnt keep up. Im afraid Im done with caribou after this and one other bad experience with a rude employee at another location.

Great coffee and awesome staff but the drive thru takes forever. I think they run to Colombia to get the beans for each person. Do yourself a favor and order ahead for in-store pickup.

The drinks here are always delicious and well made. Please note this locations drive thru and inside of the store get very busy and you may have to wait 10-20 min for a drink. I would suggest setting up rewards through their app and ordering ahead that way you can skip the line, walk in, and grab your drink!

The only reason Caribou deserves 5 stars is because of Janice that works there. Some of the employees are snotty and not very friendly but Janice makes every experience personalized. She knows I like toppings on my coffee. I dont put it in my order. She just remembers. She always is very pleasant and is always working SO HARD. She is awesome!

Who doesnt love coffee. The selection is great with something f0r everyone. The drive thru line can get long but to be expected when something is so good and Im always a "worth the wait" kinda gal

The customer service has gone down hill the past year!I placed a order ahead, went and waited for about 15 minutes. I had an appointment that I was now late for so I asked them to cancel it. I saw it on the screen & the employee said "Oh someone must have taken it." The whole time I waited I watched 5 employees move like they didnt care it was busy.Today I thought I would try again. Ordered ahead so I could grab and go. Nope, lobby was locked up. I had to go to the drive through to wait for 10 minutes. No sense of hustle at all.

Love coffee from here and am willing to wait 20 minutes in line for it but when I get the wrong order and I call and call and no answer it’s a little bit frustrating. I tried talking to the guy in the window but it not sure if he didn’t hear me or what. He just shut the window! If I wasn’t on my way to work I would of turned around. So as of now I’m stuck with idk what this is lol!

25 minutes to get 2 coffees in lobby? I wouldnt believe it either. We were there 15 minutes before the 1st indoor order was served while 5+ drive throughs were served. 10 people packed into a 10x10 lobby space. Janice! You werent doing a good job! Not coming back. The worst experience I have ever had at a Caribou Coffee and on more than one occassion. The drive-thru line appeared long so I expected to wait a little longer than usual, however after sitting in the drive-thru for 30 minutes when I finally approached the window I was not helped and not acknowledged for 5 minutes. The drive-thru attendant was not at the window, and there were four employees behind the main register. After trying to wave my arms around and make myself known from outside the window to try and get the attention of at least one of the four employees standing behind the counter to come to the drive-thru window, I was ignored by all of them. The drive-thru attendant then returned to the window from the kitchen and proceeded to do other tasks as I was still waving my arms around and saying “hello” to try to get his attention, rather than assist me and the long line of customers behind me. It also appeared that the young man working the drive-thru had no additional help taking drive-thru orders or restocking the drive-thru station so he was forced to take time away from customers and not get through the drive-thru line quickly. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with this Caribou Coffee and it’s staff while going through the drive-thru. I would not recommend this Caribou Coffee location to anyone.

I always order an ice chai tea latte with a shot less of chai, and they give me a disgusting coffee drink so Im out 4$ every time. Whenever Im at the drive thru they are never able to understand me, and when I get my order in they repeat it back like how i said it, but still give me the wrong thing. Not happy with this location.

I would like to start by saying I would go here 2 to 3 times a week and recently have had terrible experiences and will not return! First I was left sitting at the window after ordering for 15 mins and was forgotten. Finally they handed me my drink for free cause they were goofing around. Today I placed a mobile order, the lady confirmed she had it in the drive through. Waited in line for 20 mins to get to the front to be told they did not get the order and we would have to go back and reorder with 5 people in line. We went to Moka which had double the people and we were out within 10 mins. New management suggested as you should never have to wait that long for a coffee period!

My favorite coffee place in town. I love my cold press and souffles. And adding a drive thru has been a game changer. Only issue is it can take a while to get my food and drink (inside and drive thru). I feel like theres often not enough workers on shift for how busy they are.

Ive been coming to this location for the past couple of months now. I am always greeted by the employees, even if they are swamped with orders. Coffee is really good, and the rewards program is awesome for a frequent buyer. The customer service alone will keep me coming back. Keep up the good work!

The coffee is okay, I had a sub par dark roast the other day-it was a little bit bitter- and a mocha later on which was much too sweet despite being dark chocolate. Nice study space or conversation environment.

We got blended ice Mocha drinks... My wife had regular mocha...I had a turtle flavored one. They were delicious and full of flavor. Plus we were able to pick up 2lbs of our favorite coffee in whole bean! Awesome place!

I love going to Caribou! Atmosphere is great for either studying by yourself or with a group, or just hanging with some friends. Its cozy and inviting, and the coffee is wonderful. The only thing is that its not a place that offers a great variety of food. So if you just plan to get something to satisfy you for a couple hours, the sandwiches are small but pretty good. Overall, its a good place to chill.

I worked here at one point. Never seems to have enough staff so they can actually slow down and interact with the customers. Instead they are just trying to keep up with the crazy rushes. There are rushes for a reason though, its the best coffee around! They are very high with their standards, and serve only freshest of coffee! Caribou is part of many peoples daily routine, and is partially because it is a generally friendly upbeat place. A community within a community. Its about more that just coffee, its about relationships. 😊

Great tasting coffee and warm, relaxing environment as we have come to expect from Caribou Coffee shops. Unfortunately, this Caribou is in a terrible location - the parking lot is small and difficult to find a spot or turn around to leave. It is also smashed between a couple of other businesses. Staff was good and friendly and served us quickly even if they were super busy.
