They need to do something about the bedsheets and pillow cases.The surroundings are not particularly welcoming.

One of the hotels you get dumped in by Ethiopian Airlines when transiting through Addis Ababa. Cockroaches, no hot water, smelly sheets, to name a few.

Was a very decent hotel, the WiFi was very good, the room was fine and neat.

If you enjoy bedbugs, roaches and mosquitoes. This is the best hotel for you.

Horrible breakfast buffet. No eggs, limited choices. What is breakfast without eggs????. No toothbrush or toothpaste in rooms and even when demanded they have none.No air condition in rooms learnt its central regulated. That means you either freeze to death or die from heat!Rooms not well lit.Horrible horrible experience.

Not really my idea kind of hotel. Well since this is a transit hotel which is not my choice, my comments will be limited.

They welcome people with great smile. They make you feel welcomed. Their food is good, their breakfast is great. Their rooms are up to standard. Staff people are really friendly. I would recommend this hotel to someone who is visiting Addis ababa

Cleaner and more organized than other Ethiopian Airlines hotels Ive stayed at. Food was terrible, but the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hell no, when we arrived the shuttle had pushed to get it started. Arrived as a family of 5 offered me 2 twin rooms. The rooms are small. Very old bedsheets old and used. No AC. Very dark rooms. Makes you scared when you even walked into the hotel itself. Do not recommend it at all.

I stayed here for one night as it was the designated hotel chosen by my airline for a transit sleepover. Now Im not sure if there was a separate (cheaperpackage for such visitors but the stay left so so much to be desired. The bathtub had a leakage, no toothpaste in the room (they couldve at least provided a mini size), no tea/coffee available (just a bottle of water). The buffet breakfast was honestly the worst Ive ever experienced, the food was bland, tasteless and dry/dead; the restaurant staffs body language portrayed very obvious reluctance (almost annoyancewhen asked for things as basic as butter or coffee - they honestly need to do better (even if this was a "transit passenger" package as I suspect was the case. Ive made a mental note to never have a return visit, not even as a transit visitor.

The food was below standard and the beds were dirty

Affordably priced accommodation with petite but decent & comfortable rooms containing necessary amenities (fridge, safe, intercom, wardrobe, water heaterbut theres a centrally controlled air conditioner so the temperature of the room cant be self determined. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the room 🙃.My dinner was served promptly after i ordered and it was quite tasty.Breakfast was limited and most trays were exhausted when I got to the restaurant about 6.40am, unfortunately, they were not promptly replaced so I made do with bits and pieces of the little leftover cakes and fruits (pineapple).There are ATM right at the entrance of the hotel but make sure you have all your toiletries as there isnt a convenience store in the hotel if you need anything outside of the tiny containers of shower gel & shampoo put in the bathroom of each room.The lady at the reception was quite grumpy.....prolly she was tired. All other hotel staff were courteous and helpful.

Hotel with great taste for culture and purpose of Ethiopia heritage.

Nice hotel. Can do better on insulation though for guests who arent used to the Ethiopian cold

One of the best except that the kitchen staff need to be faster.

I was a transit passenger staying there the menu was fixed with no much option. The wifi was very slow.

The Hotel is Okay , The Hotel is Okay, they have break fast & WiFii, most of the employees are professional except the janitors.I am Very disappointed. The janitor stole my very expensive brand new Tommy Hilfiger jacket.I put it on my room table, when I came back, it is gone. I thought I put it in my luggage , but after I left the hotel, I checked my luggage, it wasn’t inside.I knew it I put in my room, but I was thinking I probably put in my luggage & didn’t pay attention or concerned to report ask the Hotel. .•Other Hotels give you the option to clean the room whenever you like such as putting “ Don’t Disturb “ or please clean “ sign hanging by the door so that the janitors don’t enter your room without your permission, but this Hotel , when I came back from outside, a lady was already inside cleaning my room while all my personal belongings are visible.•I am very disappointed by the cleaning ladies. very expensive brand new Tommy Hilfiger jacket , that was my favorite jacket.I arranged this booking first calling customer service & then contacting the Sales manager called Tsedey , She was a nice lady ,very helpful & have a good customer service .

Room was comfortable and clean. Majority of the staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast enjoyable. Shuttle reliable. Internet was not functioning well in the room.

Really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly. Free shuttle to and from the airport. It is also in a quiet and safe area.

Close to the airport very friendly staff good food they can organuse city tours all in all a pleasant place to stay.

This is an acceptable place for a short stay. Rooms are clean although a bit dark. WiFi only works in the restaurant and they give you two wifi codes per room. It is problematic to get working. Breakfast is acceptable. Staff are very friendly. The area according to our local guide is not very safe for walking at night as a tourist.

Good mid range hotel option in Addis. The deluxe rooms are huge, reception speaks English and it’s clean.

Excellent option in Addis Abeba. Big rooms and very good breakfast. Location is also very good, right in the centre.

Top bargain for price, nice internet (for Ethiopian standardand breakfast. Personal is very nice too but not all speak English and pick up at the airport is sometimes late.

This is a modestly price hotel and it is good. WiFi works breakfast was good the rooms were ok but the bedsheet not large enough to hold onto the mattress. So a good value for the price

The Caravan Hotel was in a good location, not much noise, superb staff, great chef with excellent dinners, breakfast and of course the tasty coffees...& it has the airport shuttle for ease.We had a back room with balcony & it met our requirement & happy stay.Will come back to this hotel.Migbaru our excellent guide in Ethiopia.Thank you all.

The hotel is clean and no disturbance at night. The only problem it has weaker internet connectivity and has very good customer care services

Very good rooms and a superb breakfast buffet

The hotel is just basic, the rooms are ok. The staff is friendly most of the time,but can get quite disorganised. On our last night we asked to clear our bill because we had an early flight out and wanted to avoid problems with offline credit card machines. We paid the bill but got a shock when we checked out at 4am the following morning because we had a oustanding amount to pay. This was very stressful and disappointing and to top it off one of the staff members started laughing at us because we were freaking out. He was unprofessional to say the least. 😕😕

Basic accomodation, but the staff were very helpful, friendly and able to arrange anything we needed. Unfortunately the WiFi was out for the entire duration of our stay which we know is not always the fault of the hotel however it did make it a little difficult for us to organise things without it.

The Caravan is a small but chick, convenient, clean and reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are small but clean and functional. While there is free WiFi, some Internet destinations and app traffic (e.g. WhatsAppare blocked.

This hotel has great food. However, the water supply is unreliable. Showering in the morning was a challenge for the two days I stayed.

Big, cossy and clean rooms. Food is good but slightly expensive and wifi didnt work in the two nights we stayed.

Very clean rooms, polite, helpful staff. Free wifi was great to have. The value was excellent. Great French restaurant close by... however they accept only cash. Hotel has a great breakfast with lots of variety.

Great value for money!!aravan is a small hotel not far from Bole Intl., with excellent facilities and very friendly staff.The rooms are comfortable, the water is always hot and the wifi is fast and free. They also have a reliable shuttle service to/from the airport.Highly recommended!!!

A real gem in the city. The accommodations and facilities modern and well kept. The staff are friendly and always helpful and the wifi is strong and reliable (this alone holds its weight in gold!)The only con is the neighbourhood "looks" a little sketchy at night but is actually pretty safe.Cheers!
