Caras Park in Missoula

Love this public place for Farmers market, concerts, walking, and hanging out!

There was Saturday market whe. I was there. They had a big variety if stuff. Not too crowded, There us lots of fun stuff happening at Caras Park. And watching Brenans wave is always exciting ,and of course the kids have a great time on the carousel and at dragon hollow, its the play ground.

Nice peaceful place when theres nothing going on at all and theres always something going on thats pretty cool close to it

The food trucks on Wednesdays during the summer is awesome. Live music and fresh treats.

Riverside park in downtown Missoula.Very few trees- all too small for shade.Picnic tables, benches, paved sidewalks and a covered area. Restroom.

Beautiful park with live music, food vendors, beer/wine, and kombucha on tap in the summer on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The river trails in town are beautiful but its always nice to stop by Caras and sit by the river anytime of the year

Pretty nice, but I would appreciate a bit cleaner park and maybe a way to prevent some of the sketchy behavior.. terrible parking options as well.

The park itself was very clean and well-maintained. Theres some bridge construction and homeless people hanging out near that - however, that isnt the park maintenances fault! Love that its right on the river! We met some family at the amphitheater area, then went to the carousel and dragon park. Its a nice little spot and Id definitely recommend!

Love Downtown tonight. We had guests from out of state and they just loved it. We got there about 7:00 and left at 9:30 as we just sat on the grass enjoyed the music, food, beer, conversation, and the sunset.

Wicked fun!!! Went for Irish festival and couldnt be more pleased:the river is awesome to go and take a dip and the carousel is a blast :)

Great place for a leisure walk dipping the in the Clark river. Public toilets, paid parking, picnic tables, beautiful Mountain View’s, grassy areas, long walk /bike paths on both sides of river.

Loads of food trucks and quite a variety to choose from. Great music, big crowd. Could use more seating inside since it was such a hot day.

Great park! Next to river, has childrens playground nd carousel.

Not quite done with all aspects of the beautification of Caris Park due to The Higgins Street bridge project. Always a great place to take the children to see the carousel and take a spin. Dragons hollow is a playground set up for young children and is very safe. Killians run has an observatory area so you may watch the kayakers practice on the river. Wednesday is out at the park- with all of the food trucks available during the day. Thursday evenings has a variety of musical venues.. food trucks.. beer trucks.. and plenty of natural seating on the ample grass space.. or on the brand new concrete benches. Picnic tables are also provided randomly scattered throughout the park.

Get parking early or be prepared to walk. Nice music, lots of food. Area is excellent.

Great time here during the summer concert series. Every Friday Night. FREE

You can literally watch surfers in the river and then turn around and listen to jazz music with a good 15-20 food trucks. So much fun you have to make a day for it.

Needs more access for drinking water during events. It was easier to find beer then it was drinking water. Normally thats okay but after the marathon I needed a little more water

Great first visit and a variety of food truck vendors to choose. However, with construction still in progress, walking areas and path along river were limited

Want to experience one of the few places people can surf in montana? How about finding a spot to eat after stopping by one of the resturants nearby? Ice cream? All this and more can be accomplished here!

Met up with a gaming group there when the coffee place we usually go to closed early. Lots of fun for the group of us.

Went to Missoula Downtown After Dark. Great food, drink, and music. Weekly on Thursdays.

Is not user friendly. Seating is not available. Should of left seating like it was. Less table space. Need to make sure everything is working (powerbefore hand and not waiting at the last minute to check it out. It would of been a great band if power did not fail. Felt sorry for the band. Hope no you paid them right!

The new design at Caris Park is a horrible 😫took away all the shade it will be really a fun time when its 90.Should have used the money to fix side walks.

I liked it better when there were the little hills but its still a lovely place for a community get together.

Dragon hollow is the best...only problem......Trying to get a 2 yr old to leave willingly!!!

Caras park and Dragon Hallow are still fun for my kids at 9 and 11 the way it was at 3 and 5!

Nice walk along the river. The parking is obviously being used by others than park users and gets very crowded. The addition of retail services (shops, restaurantswould make this a real attraction.

Very nice clean park for a walk or enjoying a cup of coffee. We walked around while designing where to eat. Very good picture taking opportunities along the river.

I love Caras Park! Its so relaxing and peaceful. I still love your out to dinner events you put on. I came back after a few years being gone. You guys still put on a great event! How I did miss the clarkfork river! If you want to find some peace go sit by the river! ❤

We were there when all the food trucks were present. Excellent selection. We had the pizza-like thing that was Arabic in origin. Is my new favorite food. Way better than American pizza. Hard to find. Seize your opportunity to try one.

Something for everyone here. Lounge in the grass. Take a walk by the river. Watch some brave surfers. Let the kids play in a fenced in play area. And enjoy the weekend farmers market. Parking can be a little tight but overall a great downtown park that serves Missoula well!

Always seems to have something going to entertain yourself. Everything from homeless people to surfing and the wooden play area or whatever your in to. Music can even be heard if you time it right. Or a truck with a kitchen sometimes. Farmers try to make money there Ive heard. I have never actually seen them make money, but I have heard about it for sure.

Great outside venue are with a beautiful park area surrounding it with downtown and the river right there too!

This is a place that you and your family can enjoy any time and really shows what this town is about. Several events take place there and all ages are always welcome. Everybody is always friendly and high-spirited. Truly a spot that just make you feel good.

I love this little Park. Its a great place to people-watch write a bite take a walk watch people kayak you can walk down to the river, but its very easy to access this park if you are disabled or elderly. All ages can enjoy this part and feel like youre really out there. Its a little bit of nature right in the middle of the city.This park always features great events, food beer garden, live music an art. Plus on Saturdays theres a market with lots of locals selling their goods.👍Recently I went to an art show down there which was amazing. It was so inspiring made me want to go home and start painting.😉 If you havent been down to caras Park check out the local calendar to see what events are coming up.But dont stay away just because there are no events, because like I said theres so much awesome people watching and hanging out to do whether youre at the carousel or the kids playground or just taking a walk. its the best. 👍

They hold events here, this day a Margarita festival was happening. There is a river rapid where people can surf and kayac, an nice viewing platform on the river bank is fun to watch from. Bath room, and play area for kids, they were sure having fun.

Great place to have a party or attend an event. Many people don’t know you can rent this entire place and it makes for a great venue for a wedding, etc. highly recommend attending the next event you come upon while downtown. The river action from cayakers, surfers, etc is also awesome and super unique.

Always a great fun and entainment alive here in the park. Even if no event is happening its a great place to walk and enjoy mother nature and enjoy the fresh crisp air. Close to resturants, theatres, shopping and on the river wherr u might catch someome river surfing, floating or even fishing. A must see while in town. Was here during the Womens March 2018.
