Cara Suites Hotel in Mon Repos

Update 2022: Pool side bar closes at 9pm now .Update : 2021The entire hotel was upgraded ,the poolside is just as beautiful, the bar area has beautiful new seats , Lounge area is stunning and the best part is anywhere you are seat overlooks the pool and ocean ,epic sunsets____________So pretty poolside.

Only available hotel at the place.Lift system is quite confusing.

Beside some serious maintenance issues and cloudy pool water it was very friendly staff and good steaks and great service.

Exterior leaves a lot to be desired but when you enter the lobby area it makes up for it. Lovely front area and beautiful pool area over looking the ocean. The rooms are clean but the hotel it self needs some TLC.All the staff I had interactions with , whether on phone or in person were cordial and professional.

Rooms need a lot of tlc and updating. Stayed in the "new" wing but it looks old and tired.

Its a beautiful, clean, spacious, well kept hotel. The front desk officer was pleasant, I wish I remembered her name. My friend from the UK will enjoy her week stay there.

Very peaceful. The exterior does not match the interior, dont be discouraged. Wonderful views as well for sunset.

Had some work training at one of the many comfortable conference rooms available. That said, I really enjoy the fairly recent renovations at Cara Suite. Really nice finishes in the main area and the ocean view and landscaping continue to be relaxing features to the visitor/guest.

This is an ideal get away staycation the customer service is amazing everyone is so polite and puts the guest interest first. The only issue we had was the fact that we waited almost two hours for dinner to arrive. Guessing it was because of the valentines special but the bar manager Alana and her bartender Tshawn was soooooo sweet I could not help but wait for the food patiently. The meal was delicious but I salute the breakfast team for being organise and on point with the eats and drinks. I must return!!!!!!!!

Went for a site visit here. Its so clean, beautiful and peaceful. Very lovely staff and a wonderful view.

I must say my stay was enjoyable.From making the reservation with Elize,call back for some info and spoke with one Cherisse.The time I got there on Jan 12th,till I checked out at 12pm on the 13th. Dinner was nice,room was well kept,everything was up to mark.Breakfast was even better both service attendant was very hospitable.I met one of their employee who was courteous ,got her to take a pic for me before I left,Marilyn Belgrove thank you

Staff were amazing and fully supportive as we used here for a pre-bridal night with bride and bridesmaid!

The biggest issue I have with this hotel is. Why so you have a price for locals and another for foreigners? It make absolutely no sense.

The staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. The sunset view was gorgeous. However, everything else could have been better. 2 of the bulbs in the room werent working. The pool water made your eyes hurt. There was no shampoo or lotion in the bathroom area. No booklet to tell you about the facility. The windows were dirty.

Utilized for quarantine purposes. The place is a bit dated but the service was excellent. Work to be carried out on the infrastructure to keep the facility up to date.

I went to Cara Hotels on January 15, 2021. My experience was amazing. The Hotel is following protocols such as taking your temperature and there is an area to wash your hands. There is security on the compound so I felt comfortable parking my vehicle and it being safe. The place is clean and quiet and so relaxing. The view is amazing and the food and customer service was excellent. In the night the pool area is dreamy. I loved it. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful place, front desk stuff friendly but other staff members dont help you. They will watch you struggling and not help.

Reception is great nice and friendly, the room was outdated but nice and clean, food was not to great serving size was good but food was bland overall its a great experience but the place could use an upgrade especially the pool where it looks run down and has missing tiles.

Not so comfortable, old furniture, noisy air-condition, partly clean. There is small pool on the middle of hotel but not good, you should be carefull otherwise you can cut your foot because of broken tiles. Kitchen, staff and services are ok, also breakfast is good. İt on the shore and it has good sea views. I dont want to accuse anybody on hotel but my tablet was stolen. If you visit trinad you should care your stuff much more.

A great place to unwind. Its clean and quiet with good customer service. The food is delicious.

Only took a day pass there with my wife and two children but the little time spent there was very relaxing, the staff was pleasant and the food was great... Will do this again with a longer staying time

I booked a one night stay-cation as a surprise for my husbands birthday, the service was excellent from check in to dinner and then breakfast the next morning. The staff were very pleasant and made our experience one that we will definitely look forward to repeating.

Came here for my honeymoon this place is a hidden gem the rooms views and service was excellent the food was great really enjoyed the breakfast with some thing for everyone vegetarian and meat lovers alike I would definitely recommend this place to a friend will be coming back soon.. 😀😀👍

Very good location for visitors of the Point Lisas Industrial Estate. The food is great and there is a lot of parking.This is good for conferences and meetings, however you will not get a Hyatt or Similar experience though.

This hotel is old, run down and outdated. To be a "four star" hotel in the Caribbean youd think theyd have a better beer selection or a specialty house drink or something.The breakfast looks good until you realized everything should be hot is like warm instead.My room door looks like its been broken into before and the door is not square and level so you must jerk the door open from the outside or jam your shoulder into the door to leave the room.

Professional, courteous staff. Beautiful view. I was there for my anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised on our entering the room. It was prepared with the towels shaped like two swans on the bed and a banner over the bed, with both our names, congratulating us on our anniversary. The gym was awesome, but the highlight of our stay was the bartender, Michael, very professional, very skilled and a great conversationalist. We plan on going again.

Went to the Metropolitan Restaurant for dinner. The menu was very limited but me and my family had a good time. The waitresses were very pleasant and attentive!

This place is great for family and friends and to enjoy. Its a perfect distresser.

The facilities were excellent. The breakfast offer a wide choice.This was appropriate for individuals like myself who do not eat wheat flour. Almost all the staff I encountered were courteous. The surroundings were beautify and gives that away-from-the-world feeling.The facility rises from the main road up a hill, giving a beautiful view of the surrounding. The relaxing areas around the swimming pool area gives the lovely view. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

My review is only based on the conference room or banquet hall. I cannot comment on the rooms since I havent been there. If anyone is considering hosting a function and needs a hall or room to host it this is your place. The room is relatively large and can provide accommodations for easily 100 guests. This area is private to an event so host will have the area to himself/herself without interruption from guests who may be staying there. Using their rooms food drinks and desserts can be catered for by Cara Suites. This is usually buffet styled with an array of dishes and drinks to select from. The place is generally very clean and well kept, from my experience staff is usually always there to provide any assistance if the need arises.With regards the poolside and bar area where this is open to the public, it is well laid out and serene. The bar area overlooks the poolside. Overall its a very relaxing place to be and well presented and laid out.

Beautiful and relaxing. Service on point. clean and fresh bedroom and bathroom. Private veranda with the view of the ocean or a view of the sun set while sipping a glass of wine as you relax in the pool...wow what more can you for.

Nice place, good service, great view.Though, if you will leave balcony doors open for a wile, you may found some insects inside. Just keep it shut and no problems will appear.Привет морякам, ждущим посадки)
