We had seafood mix noodles and a mix fried rice it was really delicious. All the food prepare at the moment no pre cooked meals.. friendly customer service. I recommend this restaurant as the best place have dinner in pasikuda

We dropped in for late lunch and this mixed seafood noodle was so yummy! Good portion size with generous amount of seafood (fish, prawns and calamariin it. Friendly service! Highly recommend!

We have eaten a good fish for a good price. The fish, rice and salad was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and located in the Nature.

This place is closed. We went to the "restaurant" next door which was fairly new and very poorly managed. Ordered 2 mango smoothies and were given diced mango with a dribble of mint ice cream over it-at the start of our meal. Ordered a seafood platter with lobster and were served a few prawns with rice, coleslaw and fries. When we asked about the rest of the seafood, we were told that they didnt have any. 😳The mango was returned after blending. Topped up our meal with more fries. Disappointing last dinner in Pasikuda.

Agree, today it is closed as well. Asking peoples, looks for a month, but I try the boarding one, Karosh Lanka and was very good food.

Captain is closed for a month or so (owner is on holidays). In 5 meters from Captain there is new place Karosh Lanka with delicious food and with large portions. Highly recommend to visit that place.

Very tasty sea food for reasonable price. If you dont have all inclusive in your hotel here is the best place to have a dinner. Also if you would like delicious cooked lobster or prawns you should come here as well. I was here twice during my stay and both time food was really tasty. Dont mint simple interior.

It can be difficult to find a restaurant in Pasikudah. But this place is a real deal. We had a seafood platter and its huge and very delicious. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this and we will definitely return.

Most of restaurants in Pasikuda is closed after 2 pm and you cannot find a good place to have lunch little late. This place is open after 2pm too. Right opposite to Amethyst Resort.

We had Jumbo Garlic Prawns, Buttered Calamari and Seafood Rice and all three tasted great.The fish was fresh that day and was freshly cooked, so was a small wait.Lots of drinks options too, and the fresh juices were superb.

Very friendly owner and cozy atmosphere in the garden. As we were there for dinner in the low season, they didnt have everything that was on the menu. Nevertheless we had great fish (including vegetable and rice sides). The owner also told us that he works as a tour guide and offered us his help (very reasonable prices!). Would recommend!

We ate there two nights in a row as we were delighted with the quality of the food (we are fish addicted!and the kindness of the owner.The place is simple but definitely worth it. We especially enjoyed the grilled whole fish marinated their way and mango ice cream.Don’t forget to bring your own alcohol as they don’t serve it.

We have so perfect so chill and so tasty seafood dinner with reggae music on the background. Fair prices and very welcoming owners. Very recommend.

Great, local place to eat. Fresh seafood, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Dont make the same mistake we did of letting a tuktuk driver talk us into bypassing this place to head into a restaurant in town instead so that he could charge a larger fare.. one meal here wasnt enough! Be sure to check it out if youre in Passekudah !!

Food was good , they had sold out of lobster but ordered calamari and grill fish and some prawns. Owner was very friendly and also does local tours. If you are in the area go and eat here.

The seafood was good. However there are certain points the restaurant should improve on in my view.1the sides. in order to complete the dish, it would be nice if there were decent sides beside the seafood. Instead it is just plain rice and package vegetable. As sauce is ketchup. Please improve in this regard. (See pictures: great seafood, not so great sides).2i had the crab, which was excellent. However no crab cracking tool was provided. In essence you cant eat what you pay for without a back and forth to the kitchen to crack the parts open you cant crack by hand/teeth. Discussed this with the owners and they assured me these had already been ordered and would arrive within 1 or 2 days.

Fairly new place and there isn’t much choice outside the big hotels so Captains SeaFood should do really well. Guys who run it are very friendly and do a great job. Food is very good and massive portions. The whole place is just a few tables outside but it will grow. Tonight they had to turn people away as it was so busy and as a result service was slow. Got to admire the guys for working so hard. Would recommend it. No licence but a good range of soft drinks. If you want alcohol go to the bottle shop down the road

Horrible and uncooked food. The rice that we ordered was not fully cooked. Noddles were made with vermicelli. We also ordered a lobster which was rubbery.

Put off by our hotels bland and very expensive menu, we took a 150rupee tuk tuk to Captain Seafood - it was a great, authentic restaurant serving great good, Virgin Mojito and beers (although the owner went to get these for is as a kind favour!)We called and ordered the jumbo prawns and seer fish in advance - both were excellent. Total bill came to 3400r.Highly recommend leaving the hotel for this!

Two guys are passionate about what they do. Limited menu but they give a deliciouse meal.Loved to sit in the garden under the shade of a coconut thatchted summer hut for our neal.

My boyfriend and me spent two weeks in Sri Lanka in March 2018. A guest from our hotel highly recommended us Captain Sea Food to go on a safari with. So we went to an elephant park to make a safari. The price was really good and also our driver was extraordinary motivated. As we really enjoyed this trip, we asked Captain Sea Food to organize a second trip - a railway ride to Ella, a night in a tree house and a safari to Yala national park. We also really enjoyed this unique trip and highly recommend this place not only for booking trips all over the country but also for the amazing food (and milkshakes).

Roshan organized some really good tours for us. Besides that this place offers excellent food and drinks.
