When this location opened, it was AMAZING! Fast, correct service by workers who actually seemed to care. We use them about once a week.Not sure what happened, but over the past year it has turned into a mess. Orders are consistently incorrect, slow service by staff who dont even say hello (and these folks want $15/hour ?!).Im laying blame on the Manager. Whip your location into shape or move aside!!
Fantastic service from staff; however, there are 2 protected WiFis and staff said they did not know passwords?! Really! That poor service falls on ownership
The Whitefish Dinners are way way way too EXPENSIVE SHOULD BE ONLY 5.99 RATHER THAN 10.00 DAMN DOLLARS FOR ONE DINNER THE FOOD WAS TOP NOTCH THOUGH PLEASE WORK ON LOWERING YOUR PRICES OK THANKS .
Ordered 3 PC fish, got to car to eat .only had two went back in and got third pc...got back to car.. .fries cold and fish greasy as were the hush puppies. The ice water was good.
Tonights meal was the Best Ive had since they opened!The Southern fried fish was perfectly cooked,flavorful, hot and delicious!As were the sides. Kudos toNew management and the cook!
The district manager that was at the storeneeds some training. He doesn’t know how to treat the customer and very rude. We are not going back to this store.
Old, oily, sad fish sticks. Old, sour coleslaw. What happened to this location?!!! It used to be the best one around.I’ve been getting fantastic, fresh delicious fish and sides from here since it opened. But tonight was absolutely inedible. I’ve seen frozen fish sticks that looked and tasted better. Change your oil, Cap! And get some fresher fish and slaw! That’s the second time the slaw has been old and sour tasting.I tossed the whole thing in the garbage and made a sandwich for dinner. The rest of my fam ate some of theirs, but I bet they’re gonna regret it later. Please go back to making great food, Cap!

The restaurant is under new management. They have hired a great staff.
I got the seafood platter woth fries and broccoli as sides. Broccoli was cold, fries were cold and nasty, stuffed crabs were burnt and old. Fish was brown on the inside. By far the worst experience Ive had at any captain ds.
20 minutes in the drive through just to get cold, soggy, and greasy food. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Awesome experience, new management is wonderful. The food definitely tastes so much better than it did before. I will of course be returning to this location.
I waited a long time in the drive thru. Girls gotta feed her craving ya know. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter. Shrimp was good but the fish was... I dont know how to describe it... dry, stale, over cooked. I was bummed.
Service was horrible food was not fresh just an overall horrible experience would definitely drive further to a different one for better service.
Food taste as bad as it looks. I would not recommend to anyone to waste your time and money here. You would literally be throwing away your money. Just disgusting!

Lobster rolls, catfish, salmon, shrimp, cob and of course hush puppies! Delicious! Great friendly staff and service.
Place was clean, and service was good..however, the food was gross. Fish tasted old due to the oil not being filtered correctly, my okra had no taste except old oil. My shrimp was under cooked and mushy.
It was just ok. My fries were too hard.
The cod fish was very good. The catfish was too small for the price.

Jasmine needs to freshen up on her etiquette clearly speaking rudely to staff when drive thru window is open and can hear it all.. Simply asked if they don’t take email coupons from corporate and rudely saying they don’t take those..
The girl taking my order acted as if I wasnt speaking English. Poor training

This place is a joke. The cashiers inside and at the drive thru are always miserable and rude. Management is useless. They are outright combative and aggressive. I strongly advise against eating here. After being yelled at, my order being messed up because the music in the kitchen was too loud for them to hear me and having money thrown at me because they didnt understand my order, I guarantee I will never be returning. I strongly strongly advise do not patron this rathole of a restauraunt.
Food greasy and not hot. Place really clean. Waiter talked about his political beliefs loudly without courtesy for others.f
Shrimp, fish,was good but the chicken was hard and dry.Baked potato wasnt hot enough or the fried okra.
Horrible experience today. Taking trash out the front door as Im coming in. And the lady working the counter was not interested in helping us she kept asking me what I wanted because she could not hear me for not stopping long enough to take my order. Our fish came out looking raw and the rice was over cooked. Im very disappointed for the price of things now.

A good economical place to eat fish or chicken. I usually get the wild caught salmon over rice with steamed broccoli and my husband likes the country style fish with fries and we both go gobble down the coleslaw. Friendly staff here are ready to serve.
The woman working the drive thru was really sweet but the food was terrible. The fish tasted like it was a week old and the fries where way too greasy. Whoever is working on the kitchen needs to get it together.
UnsatisfiedFirst time here and I’ll never going back and fish taste fresh and the rest wasn’t fresh. Fries were hard, hush puppies were burned cos they re fried it again probably from the other day. We threw away the whole fries.While I was eating there was a customer waiting for his order and the employee came out from the back kitchen with a full mouth apologizing for making him wait cos she was busy eating and still chewing her food while grabbing his order. Another employee came out start chatting with the other employee eating her cupcakes and they forgot he was waiting for the sauce he asked for his food to go.And the whole restaurant smell like cat litter. U can smell it in the bathroom and so as outside the dining area and entrance.Never coming back to this place! Nasty!!!
The food is usually good but youre going to wait. I mean youre really going to wait. Today I finally get to the window 17 minutes after ordering, I sit at the window for several minutes, then somebody tells me that I have to wait for my fish to cook. But its only going to take 3 minutes! You would think that in the previous 20 minutes somebody could have put down some fish.
I understand people are understaffed, but waiting to order food in the drive thru for over 18 mins and bring told "one moment" 3 times when there is NO ONE in line or in the restaurant is a little ridiculous......I finally went inside to order, was completely ignored, until the manager came in, on his phone to take my order. I mean, come on.... There literally is no one in the restaurant. But after I finally ordered, 3 people came behind me and were immediately greeted and had orders taken..... Not to mention that as Im standing there waiting for my order, two of the people that came in after me got their food ahead of mine..... Its pretty sorry service. I know times are hard for the restaurant industry, but the very least that you can do is get off the phone to take an order, or take an order through the drive-thru especially when theres nobody in line! Thats the very least that anybody can do.
You can still feed your family of 4 well for around $25. I bought the 10 piece fish family meal tonight with 2 sides. The fish is always good. If youre like me and like "a little fish with your tartar sauce," ask for the 4-ounce containersof tartar sauce with your meal. It will cost a little extra, but my family also loves the corn on the cob. Dont forget your coupons! The coupon out of the weekly circular will save you about 6 dollars on the family meal.
The food is always excellent it may take a few minutes to get it but then you know that its been cooked fresh and thats very important. When youre inside and get something to go I do like that the staff opens your box so you can see that you got the right thing and how good it looks. Also I do enjoy their senior discounts
My mom loves this location of Captain D’s. She and the cat really enjoyed their meal. I hate seafood so I can’t comment on the food. But this location was very clean and had good service when I picked up food for mom. They gave us plenty of sauce too.
My family and I eat here every Sunday after church, we also have dinner here a few times a month. Sometimes we go through the drive thru and a few times we order in due to the long line. The drive thru is always busy because the food is so good. The staff is very nice and the little blonde girl Inda is so sweet and funny she makes us laugh and always checks our food to make sure our order is right. The manager who is also pregnant is a very hard worker too. This is one of our favorite places to eat because the service is just as good as the food. The cooks in the back are working hard to make sure the food is hot and made right. We love captain ds!
I went through the drive thru and witnessed the kitchen manager drop a stack of large cups on the floor. He picked them up and added them to the clean cups for customer use. These cups that were dirty rolled on the same floor all the employees walk on. Customers unknowingly will have their lips in contact with dirt and bacteria from the floor. Nasty! The manager looked at me watching him and still did the wrong thing. I reported to the cashier, who assured me she would throw them away. And she apologized.
This is their newest and worse Captain D’s franchise in the area I have ever had an experience with EVER. The little high school girl last night who took my order entered it incorrectly even after telling her and she looking at the picture and description on the wall I referenced. When I caught it, I went to the counter, explained what happened to the owner who was standing there and asked him what I could do to make it right. I was even willing to pay for the missing item, which was simply popcorn shrimp. He said not to worry he would make it up and I witnessed him ask the kitchen for an order of popcorn shrimp. 10 minutes later, no popcorn shrimp and he walked out the door. Another 20 minutes goes by, the girl who entered my order wrong is running around trying to clean things and I politely asked her again about the popcorn shrimp. I can literally see the box under the heat light but she doesn’t check. She goes behind the door into the kitchen, I hear her make a remark about me asking and comes back out and goes back to cleaning. Another 10 minutes goes by I ask her again while she’s still cleaning and she just says sorry they’re running slow and it’ll be out soon. The box is still sitting there. So I get up since she doesn’t want to check and catch the manager and ask her. She says she’ll make it right. Now at 40 minutes and making my forth inquiry, a different girl is called to where the kitchen sends the food out, looks in the box, sees what it is and asks the same girl I’ve been dealing with who the popcorn shrimp is for while she’s trying to leave and tells her it’s for “some guy in the dining room” and leaves! Didn’t even take the time to point at me sitting 10 feet from them in plain view and can hear them. So what happened? I told the lady they were for mr and after 45 minutes I get COLD RUBBERY POPCORN SHRIMP. All while this is going on a guy comes out and offers the couple sitting in the corner who hadn’t even waited 10 minutes for their food free desert and the lady waiting for 20 minutes three orders of cracklings absolutely nothing! Hopefully she enters a complaint as well! Too bad the owner obviously didn’t care enough to stick around to keep his staff on point...FREAKING RIDICULOUS CAPTAIN D’S
Establishment needs positions filled.My family is eating up in the hotel after coming through drive thru.....while Im in line for 30 mins to get my meal they forgot to give me. Still waiting....5 customers behind me fulfilled with orders and left. This is completely ridiculous.
Was missing some of my food... it was good and hot the pieces I ate.
I ordered my meals through the drive-through, Its location is 15 minutes from my house. Once I got home to sit down to eat I discovered the coleslaw was missing. So I call the store to notify them that my coleslaw was missing And to let them know Ill be driving back . Go and apologize for my inconvenience or offered any explanation as to why my order was incomplete. I get that everyone makes mistakes but at least own up to them would be gracious when you do. I will not be back.
The last two times weve ordered the baked potatoes were raw. Really raw. And the green beans were not good. I used to love their green beans. And the Mac and cheese was lime runny soup with a few pieces of macaroni.We were really excited to have a Captain DS in Acworth,but will not be eating at this one again.
Excellent staff and food was hot and delicious. Placed my order online and it was ready and hit when I got there.
Always to go to Captain Ds on Wednesdays and Sundays because its senior day. Wide variety of seafood is always good

Very poor experience. Employees were ringing up food for themselves for their break, and when done just left a line of customers with no one to ring in food. Manager finally came by to take order. When we sat we were surprised by a huge party of roughly 30 people who were apparently the owners family. Loud, kids running around, and people going back and forth from the dining area to the kitchen. Dining area was dirty, tables and floor both. Food was okay, but not what we usually expect from other Captain Ds locations. We were excited when this location opened, but we wont be going back. To spend all that money opening a nice location, but not putting any effort into actually running it really surprises me.
The mistake was dining here during opening week and fighting a crowd. Congratulations on a job well done. We ignored the drive through line and found a parking place way out in back. Dinner was delivered to our table hot and tasty, in a reasonable time. Many busy staff worked hard. Clean. Will wait for less of a crowd before returning.
I stood where its going to be open and really enjoyed the anticipation of crispy golden fish. 😄
