Capricorn Holiday Park in Carnarvon

Good park, perfectly suited to our one night stop over.

Stopped here on a long drive from Port Hedland to Perth and it was everything a weary traveller needs! There was a well stocked kitchenette, clean bathroom and lovely room.The couple who run the caravan park are so fantastic and lovely, they definitely go above and beyond for their guests.We were only there briefly but were very impressed with the facilities offered by the caravan park; we hope to use them in the future!Would definitely stay again 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely lovely stay! Well kept grounds and clean room. The room has all you need, and theres a variety of price points and options to suit your situation! Very friendly staff too, so much so that the lovely man came to the rescue of my friend and I after she accidentally got us bogged on the outskirts of town 🤣 will never forget that experience and cant thank him enough. I dont know what we would have done without him... On a side note, the car wash out the front is particularly great too. Would definitely stay here again! And maybe instead only getting bogged I can check out the lawn bowls and tennis tables instead. 😉

Great caravan park very friendly, clean and tidy good ablutions blocks. Bowling green, swimming pool. Good size sites. Pizza nights will definitely come again.

There are big well laid out sites on one side and hard to get in and out of sites on the other. We drew the short straw even though there were many gaps on the better side .Must-have been out number plate 😡

Excellent park for large vehicles and boats. We drove in with with truck and boat and they accomadated us next to a cabin. Amazing service. Cabin was clean, good size and has everything you need. We had great night sleep. Thank you so much.

Great place, friendly staff and great location. The room out the back for motor homes and trailers was perfect.

Staff were great. Pool was very refreshing & the park was tranquil & a great overnight stay. BYO pizza for Fridays pizza night.

The cabin was spacious and clean. It seems to have been fairly recently updated and contained everything we needed to make a meal. There is a Woolworths nearby but not too many restaurants close.

On checking in we found no booking for us despite having the details of the day I called and taking all of our 3 nights money instead of a deposit.After a 10 hour day we had to end up sleeping in the car as no other accommodation available in Carnarvan.The receptionist very helpful and apologetic.The same thing happened to the lady after me on checking in. Had no record of her details.However on our nights return I can say the amenities were very clean but the cabin itself was quite smelly.Please make sure you check up on your booking in advance.

One if the best parks weve stayed in. Huge sites. Plenty of room to manoeuvre a van. The wood fire pizza oven was lit on Saturday night. A band played in the shed on Sunday night. Great clean amenities. Pool and bowling green. Everything youd need for a relaxing time.

We loved this park, sites are very large, toilets and the whole park well maintained. Park puts on nights, Pizza night and a band the next night. Would recommend this park to anyone, was one of the best we have stayed in whilst in WA, thank you so much, its a credit to you the way the park is run and organized. It shows just how good an older park can be if managed the right way.

A very nice caravan park and lovely amenities and plenty to do around the park.

We got stuck in Carnarvon overnight and the friendly staff found us a site for our campervan on a busy weekend. Its a great park with excellent facilities. Thank you guys.

Been comming here for a number of years, it has not disapointed.

After a little mix up with our booking we were relocated to a great grassed powered site right beside the ablution area where we set up our tent.Camp kitchen was small but functional with an attached outside area with BBQ and wood fired oven which owners utilise on Thursdays to cook pizzas for the guests.

Beautiful park with a friendly greeting to make our stay more enjoyable. Great amenities and a real gem.

This is the cleanest bathroom Ive ever had the pleasure of using, so much so, I showered in bare feet and any caravan enthusiast will tell you they always shower in thongs.I would have given 5 stars if we were given one of the lush grassy sites and not the rocky one we have. So 1 star off, I would recommend taking a walk around the park- the grassy spots are hidden- to find one you like.To cold for the pool but this did look inviting.Pets all good here.Driveway entry right beside the car wash.

Great little park with wonderful hosts. Not one of those parks where you get lost in the crowd. Good shades spots are available, swimming pool and other activities for young and old. Well return there for sure

Nice. Reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. Unit was clean and close to toilet/shower block. Place was quiet and felt safe during the night.

5kms out of town. Able to accommodate us. Quiet location. Clean units. Easy parking.

Positive-clean, bins everywhere , pool, camp kitchen with pizza oven, dog friendly, amenities clean. TV reception iffy.Wifi excellent. I had a reply before about wifi on my previous review, it’s not just for streaming movies, (which is also greatbut also updates on softwares on all the electronic devices that we carry nowadays.There are trees and shades everywhere.Negative- those trees? They have like beady fruits that fal on your rv that will wake u to ou up during the night and they are everywhere.

Would not stay there again. They gave us a disgusting site. Cement slab badly cracked and dangerous. It was under a tree that was dropping berries. So the berries were all over the slap. Most were stuck and couldnt be swept off. We got them to move us to another part of the park where all the slabs were new and clean but then the door code for the toilets stopped working and there was no path to get to the womens side. Pathetic

Staff were super helpful, we had no accommodation booked for the night and we did not want to sleep in the car. We tried calling other hotels/ motels but no one would help us. The reception staff booked us into a room last minute, and we were so grateful. The accommodation itself was excellent, as too was the holiday park

Really great place, couldnt fault it, maybe a couple more washing machines and dryers, having said that we didnt have to wait long, we had the Chinese Tuesday food van, was really good. Good access to dump point, we had a really good drive through site, we really enjoyed our stay.

1 word underwhelming! Stayed in a cabin tonight, pretty ordinary! Overpriced for a room/cooking area that is generous with a 2 seater couch and kitchenette but no coffee table or any table for that matter. 2 hoaky bench chairs i of which is so rickety Im not worth trying my luck on! If you have the chance to book ahead try elsewhere!

Usually stay at Wintersun but thought wed try this place for a couple of nights on our way North. Amenities good, clean but unfortunately our bay was on gravel up the back. Leaking underground drain (which our neighbors had reported on previous stay last year,still leaked which resulted in grey/black water running through our matting. Luckily it didnt rain much as sloping road also would have seen runoff through our site. Generally front of park very nice, but not so down the back. Its back to Wintersun for 2 weeks, for us on our way back south.

The ladies behind the counter are so accommodating. The amenities are really clean and spacious, and there’s something happening every night of the week from food trucks to happy hour to live music and pizza nights.

I am really enjoying my stay here. The park is quiet, clean and the staff is lovely. The shower stalls are large with plenty of hooks for towels and clothes and there is a large bench for all of your products. The camp kitchen is super clean and has a lovely covered out door area with patio furniture. Would highly recommend!

Definitely my favourite place for last 3 days, on our 3 week holiday. Lovely and laid back. Lots of shade. Great amenities. Clean. Lots of thought given where placing each holiday maker so no one is on top of each other. Fantastic pool. Will definitely be back

We had a great time. Very sad we didnt stay longer. Place, share bathroom toilet everything was perfect clean even the surrounding and pool. Youre doing an amazing job keep it up. Will come back again

The staff were very good. Helped us to change and slot new days. Nice large camping blocks. Clean toilets/amenities. Clean pool - might be a bit small if the park is full.

It was best place to camp I’ve ever been. So beautiful and clean. Well -managed place . Free wifi was amazing. Especially I love the pool and dining place.I will come again !!

In my opinion the best most affordable campsite in Carnarvon. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the grounds are beautifully kept with effort to give that authentic Aussie feel. The amenities are spotless; the camp kitchen, laundry and bathroom shining! The sites are well placed with great shade all around. It really is worth staying here.

A pleasant surprise. Well kept and tidy caravan park & camping with a nice grassy spot for our tent. Well shielded from adjacent industrial area. Clean facilities, even free WiFi in our tent! Recommended.

Quite a nice park. Sites are a reasonable size, amenities are clean, staff are friendly, very busy this time of year. Car wash near the entrance includes a dog wash and a caravan bay. Very convenient. Short drive to town centre.

We didnt book as it was out of peak season but we thought we would see if we could stay because we found a deal for $25/night for a powered site, when we asked about the price the woman abruptly replied that ended 2 days ago. (Thats fine just dont me so rude about it)The concrete site was decent size with plenty of shade and the services were on the correct side of the van.The amenity blocks were spotless, shame there isnt a hot water tap at the basins for shaving, just a like warm push button tap.The pool area is a bit of concrete jungle with a few plastic chairs scattered around the place. Felt like a prison cell.

Excellent caravan park, all facilities are perfectly maintained and super clean. Loved the pool! Camp kitchen is ok, has a really nice relaxing area next to it (with a real wood fire pizza oven 😍).Lots of grass areas to pitch a tent, wind cover and trees for shade. The owners/staff are great. Whenever youre in the area, look no further and come here. Its off season now, so it was very peaceful and we payed 25$ a night (2afor a powered site. They also own the carwash just in front of the park, also a plus 👍 Came for a night, stayed for 3 😉

Once again we had a great stay. Nice big grassed site. The staff in reception were wonderfull. Makes such a difference when you get checked in with a smile. All staff we had contact with were friendly and chatty. That included ground staff and cleaning staff. The ablution blocks were squeaky clean ( smelled nice too). The grounds were well looked after. Well done guys! What a credit this park is to the owners and all who work here. If we return to Carnarvon again this park is where well be.

What a great park ..originally booked for 3 nights but added two extra. We had a great flat site with a concrete pad. Jodie at reception was lovely letting us know early about the beef and gravy night, a bargain at $6 . Good pool area and a fabulous bowling green. Toilets and showers modern and clean. THIS PARK IS A CRACKER

Wonderful oasis in Canarvon. Ideal spot to stop. We had a cabin that was spacious and tastefully decorated. The facilities are spotless and pool just wonderful, so refreshing. The pizza night is good fun and the park has a really nice vibe. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Staying in dog friendly caravan with extension. Lots of room, lounge dinning on suite very comfortable and a safe enclosed outside area for dog. He is allowed inside with his own bedding. For me couldnt be better. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is the second time Ive stayed here and though not keen on writing reviews, really felt I had to for this lovely place!Top marks for your inviting garden and entry. My welcome was as warm as last time, which was over a year ago!Different room this time but still comfortable, spotless and and very appealing.Thank you very much, I really enjoyed my stay after a very rough few days on the road (of life!)

At this caravan park the amenities are cleaned everyday. They have regular theme nights like buy a pizza base for $5.00 and put your own topping on and they cook it for you. Roast beef and gravy rolls, not sure what it costs. Plenty of sites whicgh are generous in size.
