Elegant French fine dining restaurant in an upscale hotel, with artisanal cheeses & vegetarian menu.
Delicious than I thought
Always wanted to go Caprice for dinner and so was having very high expectation.Staff was very helpful but we felt they were over reacted. The first dish was placed right after they had put down the bread and collected the dishes immediate after we put down the cutlery. The first dish was delivered at 7:20 and by 8:30 we already had the 5th course. It was just too rush for a fine dining.Food not expected as a Michelin 3 star restaurant and wont be back again.
Best dining experience ever.
Top notch food with top notch services!
A beautiful interior with stunning views is what greets you first when you walk into Caprice. The service is, of course, unrivalled, and the food is simply stunning. Expect very fine dining (small portionsand expensive wine. It would be nice to see more vegetarian options on the menu, but the kitchen was happy to accommodate this request and provide alternate options.
Beef tartare is amazing
Great food and environment. But the staff training need to be improved, dont feel like the waiter are professional with their service.
The chef table inside the kitchen definitely is one of a kind experience! We got Chef Guillaume explained every dishes for us and created an additional dish on site which pair with our wine we brought! Thank you. We love the whole dinning experience
Absolutely Rude, Hilarious and Incompetent run by a few snobby european managers. Sommelier had Zero knowledge about wines, asking him for suggestions was same as getting advice from a cow, the Sommelier was rude, the wine menu was extremely limited in choices and i can tell it hasnt been updated for ages. The employees that were in charge of serving was very polite and courteous though. Overall the food was not up to a three star michellin restaurant standard hence its extremely hilarious they have three stars as I believe any real critic would agree they dont deserve it overall due to food quality, service, wine, ambience etc. Disappointing that Michellin guide is unreliable in HK.
We really enjoyed our experience at Caprice! The atmosphere was lovely, but we were blown away with the cocktails! They were so tasty and the bar manager, Annys, was very professional and made the experience even better! Definitely recommend this place.
Food was good, however the experience was downgraded by unclean toilets, unsuit portions (could be smaller than us, ended up throwing up), inefficient serving, and rude yells of chef at other staff. Tate was a way better experience in comparison.
Upscaled French restaurant, good food and excellent service. Book a window side table to enjoy the harbour while dining.
Possibly the best French restaurant I’ve been in HK. Very nice ambience, and the near-window seats came with great Harbour views. Each course we ordered was prepared and presented so delicately, packed with flavors and surprises. The portion size, compared with most other fine dining places, was bigger, which I count as a plus.Service was fantastic, which is in line with our expectation. The overall experience was just very pleasant. Would recommend this place for special occasions.
Great French food and fine dining experience.
Quite disappointed...I could not taste the freshness of the ingredients , only the sauce. Some of them were too salty. Only the foie gras with corn custard was above standard.Service definitely not a 3star.Really doubt I would visit again.
Not a very good experience.Never expected a restaurant like this would miss an order. Totally shocked. Tbh with this price, not recommended at all.
12-Mar-21 pre-birthday lunchExcellent experience. We ordered 4 courses lunch + wine pairing.4 course:Starter: scallop/ foie gras terrineSoup: potato + bacon/ MushroomMain: Mayura beef/ wagyu beef cheekDessert: Chocolate Moelleux / Hazelnut SouffleWine pairing1. Champagne 2. White wine 3. Red WineThe staff described every plate when they served the food. We enjoyed everything and the staff were so nice.I love all the wine sommelier selected for us.Definitely will come back. Also want to try their cocktail.Tips: please choose window seat.
Deserve the Michelin 3 stars.Summary:View from restaurant: 7/10Renovation/Design: 8/10 (Personal preference, am a classy retro, fond of classics. One thing to pick on, lights are too yellowish)Atmosphere: 7/10 (Quite and comfy.)Service: 7/10Food (Taste 8/10 Plating 8/10 Ingredient 9/10)Overall comments:You can feel the heart, passion and effort the chef put in the dishes. The preparation work is highly appreciated and you will be moved. If you are a tourist, highly recommend you to go to Caprice, it worths a journey to HK just to try this restaurant. If you had been to quite a few Michelin 3 stars restaurants in HK and around the world like me, this is a place that you would love to come again for fine dining and for special occasions)Details:Appetizer-Foie gras, Salmon with Caviar, Crispy potato with Curry(The Crispy potato with Curry surprises us, innovative, but the taste is a bit strong as an appetizer)- Beef Tartare with 10g White Truffle – freshly arrived on the day(If I am to pick on, the white truffle was claimed to arrived on the day. The white truffle had lost some of its scent and flavor compared to what I had in the International Alba White Truffle Fair in Italy in which I tried the freshest white truffle first hand. I know I can’t compare what I had in Alba, Italy with that in Caprice. But still, best chef strive for the best)- Foie gras with apple- Live Alaskan King Crab with Caviar & Eatable Gold(Caviar not too salty, preserved and handled well with no fishy smell)Soup- Onion soup with Onion ice cream and cheeze crispy(one of the best dish I have in this meal. Innovative. Surprising. The sorbet is rich in onion smell. The salty cheeze cracker balanced the sweetness of the sorbet)Main:- France Pigeon with Vietnam Cacao, with Foie Gras(If I am to pick on , the Foie Gras is super greasy. I am not a fan of Foie Gras so if you like greasy food like Japanese A5 Wagyu you may like it )- France Pigeon with Vietnam Cacao, with Foie gras- Red Muller with Saffron sourceDesert:-Small cake, chocolate-Lemon refresher-A dessert special for my birthday
I got a window seat and was able to enjoy the stunning view while having this lunch. The interior decor was also really lovely. The service here, just like all Four Seasons hotel, is impeccable.
Hands down probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The food is overall great, and the service is just phenomenal. Kudos to the manager, Ms. Janet (I hope I get the name right). We went for birthday celebration, and we are glad we chose caprice for it. The waitress explained the dishes nicely, which added our appreciation to the food served. We chose the 5 courses lunch set menu, I wont describe all of the food, but my favorite is the pigeon, lobster bisque, the tomato with burrata and Their bread!!Their bread is just lovely, it has the crunch and the softness of the bread that I love. The lobster bisque is packed with flavors, the tomatoes are so nice to have as appetiser, and the pigeon is soft and juicy (although my friends said it is a bit fishy, but I am okay with that). The dessert is also nice, and the petit fours is lovely. It is an expensive lunch, but I am happy with the food and service served. Worth it to try.
Great dining experience, excellent food n service, impressive~
Had one of the best meals. Excellent food with top-notch service.
Corporate lunch. Michelin 3 star, petty hard to criticize. Visited during COVID19 pandemic, the seating is well spaced. Service wonderful. Food looks stunning and tasted amazing.
One of the best restaurants in town. Servers are professional and friendly, but not robotic type. I am not a food critic...I cannot comment in exact details how well they executed each course. I enjoyed all of them and that is just all I need.
One of the best fine dining restaurants in Hong Kong. The food is exciting and delicious from start to finish. The service is great as well. Ive been a few times and definitely will come back again.
Delicious food in a comfortable environment with a nice view of Victoria harbour
Excellent food, very well prepared using excellent ingredients. The service is first class too!
I was here to try out this restaurant (Michelin 3-starsto celebrate my birthday. Thanks to my sister-in-law for such a nice treat! The interior was beautiful and we can see the harbour view from our table. Very nice!We tried the 3-course meal. For lunch, it is adequate for our stomach. The freshly baked bread was crispy and delicious! Each food plate brought to our table was delicious with beautiful presentation.Service was excellent! However, I had problem to understand the server’s Cantonese every time she introduced the food. She spoke too fast and her pronunciation was the typical way of how Cantonese was spoken in Hong Kong nowadays. 😁😁Direction to get to Four Seasons hotel:We took the MTR and got off at the Hong Kong MTR station. Just followed the sign to Four Seasons Hotel inside the IFC once exiting the station.
Today i celebrate the anniversary lunch with my husband at Caprice. The restaurants is very classic with full height window revealing the nice Victoria harbour view. Lunch set can choose three courses up to five. The amuse broche is good. The foie Gras appetizers is beautifully presented as well as delicious. The ravioli in tomato sauce is yummy too. The lobster is full of sea flavor and the meat is bouncy, however portion is a bit small. The duck breast is perfectly cooked, I never experienced such tender duck beast! Dessert is peach mousse and chocolate. Peach mousse is light and fresh while chocolate dessert got rich flavor and texture. To end , the cappuccino with petite four is just perfect. Both of us enjoy it a lot and give us a nice anniversary memory.
It for sure is a must try restaurant when you in HK! Michelin star for many years! Really good food and service ! Super nice view during your meal! Beautiful chandelier and deco! Love the dessert tray!! They also have private room and chef table , many cheese selection as well ! Good for lunch and dinner , you can enjoy different HK view !
Came here with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This Michelin 3-star French cuisine is incredible with its superb service and exceptional quality of food! The desserts wrapped up the dinner in a perfect manner and we both left the restaurant with a big smile!

Enjoy the long weekend lunch with wife here. Service is same as usual that outstanding. Keep my luggage proactively. We are seated in window corner side with extreme privacy. Told them ahead that we need to leave at 1:45 and they can make this happen while suggesting we order a four courses. Wife is amazed by how they can exactly do this.Enjoy and satisfied.
High quality dining experience , every staff is well trained.
Great service and foodWe were able to get a lunch reservation for 2 just 2 days in advance. The ambience is really nice, with picture windows facing the harbour and spacious seating. The food is delicious. Every course was done to perfection. Portion sizes were okay, not small and not huge. We were full by the end of 5 courses.Would definitely return!
Best service I have had from most michelin star restaurants. The food quality is amazing, good presentation and definitely would come again. There is practically no flaws in their dishes and restaurant service. This is perfect for a romantic date or to celebrate a special event. Price ranges from around $2000-$3000 per head.
Special meaning for me. Yet, stable quality over all these years.
Thoughtful, creative with a touch of whimsy in presentation and consistently featuring the right balance between showcasing ingredients and sauces and flavoring. Crab royale an especial highlight. Beef marbling is very heavy so be aware. Well chosen wine list
Caprice, Hong Kong.2 Michelin Stars.No. 46 #Asia50BestArts on plates, best enjoyed with lovely companions. #LDfindsHK #LDfinds #LilyDawis.Lunch memory from months ago with love still fiery for the fine taste and these platings. Amazing details, wonderful service and posh place with views. Truly a great experience.
Great ambience, wine selection and service. Food wise was good, just that the main is not to my liking.
Nice food & excellent service.Waiter and waitress are nice, they explain details on our dishes. They are cheerful as well.Just Asparagus soup and Brittany Sole are a bit salty. Other than that, everything is good! Desserts are great especially cheese cellar 😋Good lunch place for chatting with good friends during weekend.
Great taste. The service is not so good though. The staff wasn’t very attentive. I expect more from 2 star restaurant.
Excellent taste! I feel this is the best taste Michelin 2 starred restaurant in Hong Kong.
One of the best and one of my personal favorite restaurant with great view. Excellent service, and super delicious dishes... Love the cheese selections in particular...All dishes are truly delicious with beautiful presentation. Truly an enjoyment to eyes and taste buds. Always have great time at every visit. Definitely recommended to travelers and the locals.
This was our 3rd visit here. With Michelin two stars, we are always pleasantly surprised. The restaurant, of course, elegantly decorated, fantastic services, harbour views. Most of all, every dish was beautifully set, eye pleasing, deliciously tasting! High CP, definitely!
Great food presentation but I expected more than that. The service staff were friendly but interrupted us too often. I felt they were too close, pointing ☝️ 👉at the food on my plate 🍽
A disappointment, given 3-stars here only because we remember it being good way back when. This time however a real disappointment worthy of only 2-stars.Food was overly salty, uninspired and all wishy-washy foam over substance. Three guests of which 2 had previously dine here before said this was no good. Not sure why but they are losing their mojo.
The quality of this US prime was fantastic. However, my medium rare steak was overdone! I was really disappointed with this Michelin 2 stars restaurant.😩😩
Fantastic restaurant! Great food taste and arrangements, staff very friendly and attentive, great restaurant style. We went for lunch and took the lunch menu.
Wonderful views, stunning food and good service. Why only 4 stars? Because I felt it wasnt an amazing experience, it was excellent but I have been fortunate to go to many places that were faultless, and this experience was lovely and id still recommend it, but I preferred the Principal in HK and the price here was similar to Eleven Madison Park in NYC - but not as good. So has to be 4 stars.
