Great spot for live music. The Arkells rolled through here and did not disappoint.

Great small venue for concerts. Relaxing atmosphere to sit & enjoy, play pool, or dance.

Was here for the Spice Girls group and it was nearly impossible to get a drink and there were issues with tickets when entering but great venue.

Great folks looking to give you a great time... And theres open mic on Tues ... Would go back soon to crack some jokes ...

The food, service and value keeps the Capitol in our top 3 places to eat and drink. Nothing fancy, just down to earth people, food, and drink. I dont know why the place isnt packed every night! The brunch is also incredible! They have the best bacon in the city. Trivia night is fun. We havent been to one of the live music gigs yet, but we hope to.

We attended a wedding at the Capitol and it was an incredible venue and setting. The food and service seemed great and it felt like a very special, intimate space for the event. While any regular night at the Capitol is great, it was also an exceptional space for this event.

Bartender was friendly, helpful, and prompt. We tried the YXE Poutine Week special as well as the perogie Poutine and both were excellent with a very good gravy (which makes or breaks a Poutine). Keep an eye out for a music or comedy event thats to your taste for a bit of bonus entertainment.

A great open mic night! A talented and engaging host, really good sound guy, great stage, good food And an incentive beer for playing! Go here! Support live music!

Went for breakfast service was slow had to leave ordered drinks and was waiting for 30 mins and still didnt get them!

Terrible food. 3rd time coming here for food and it sucked like the last couple times. Overcooked breakfast. And now gross mushy pizza. Ew

Was ok. Inside is nice and it looks clean and tidy but wow... a sleeve of O16 was $9? That is a bit ridiculous. Also on the chalk board they said there is a happy hour but no menu online for it. When I asked what it entailed, because I was there during the time, bartender said domestic bottles are like $4 or $5. I mean, could have said something after I ordered my $9 sleeve, not even a pint, of O16.

The service is unbelievably slow and terrible. Server didn’t return to our table for our order. Wasn’t busy. She walked to a table who arrived well after us, 8 people, and took their order while ignoring us. Walked out. Not worth supporting.

Did some drywall and paint work and gave a special price on it only to never actually get paid on in 2021.

We went for brunch and there was 15 people including our table of 3. Service was very slow. One waitress seemed to be quite efficient, ours was not. Food was okay, but nothing great.

this place has the worst service, went there for breakfast and maybe 2 other tables had people. the server took forever to come ask us if we wanted anything to drink. I ordered a ceaser and some waters. got the waters but not the ceaser at all. all the servers were too busy visiting at the end of the bar and one server was kissing her boyfriend........gross plus he had a gross beard and a funny hat. the food was not the greatest either but the service was the worst. never again will I go there. learn some etiquette.

We attended a wedding this weekend. They served a super supper. It was delicious. When my husband goes for seconds of roast beef, its got to be awesome. Cool place for a small wedding. Would recommend others to visit, now that we know this place exists! P.S. we had a super great time!!!

Great entertainment; Horrible service. Drinks took 20 mins for 3 people. Ordered a perogie poutine, took 30 mins and arrived with the perogies still frozen in the middle. Did not even come to check on us if we were good or if the food was alright, which we could not even finish. When we were done with our drinks we waited 20 mins before I had to find our waitress to get our bills. The 2 stars are only for the great entertainment and bands.

Good band. Poor service; there was about 20% capacity tonight. Drinks took 20 minutes. Ordered fries and gravy, never came, said we didn’t order and the waitress didn’t care, I was going to stay for close my party and now forget it. Am from out of town and frequent Saskatoon and this was recommended. I don’t know why. 2 stars for the singers who made us feel welcome. Staff didn’t care.

Excellent hospitality excellent friendly service excellent entertainment ... friends n family have taken the stage there and were treated like super stars by the he friendly staff ... I strongly recommend The Capital for your evening out adventures or should you wish to just sit and enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere ... stop by , I know we always do 👌👍😎

Great breakfast. Great prices. But I always end up waiting too long for my food when its empty. Even when there arent many people inside. Then the food shows up and its so yummy I forget I waited too long for a breakfast order. Only ever been here for breakfast. Never been disappointed. Just slow service.

The food and service was excellent and the entertainment was exceptional. I had the Tuscan chicken sandwich and it was delicio! 😗👌

Went for breakfast and was told the kitchen was backed up and it would be a wait. We ordered some hair of the dog, waited a half hour, and then was told the kitchen was closing. Still paid for the drinks we didnt really want to drink when we knew there would he no breakfast coming.

I went to Capitol for an event of about 50 people. They ran out of burgers on burger and beer night, forgot people’s orders an hour later only to have the food brought out later and just given away free to our random tables. The staff was not prepared for large groups and they did their best but service was decent overall.

Great atmosphere. The only thing is that the posts are blocking the view of most of the stage but its easy to move to a spot where thats less of an issue.

Went to our first live music performance since COVID started. The staff was great and handled the restrictions exceptionally well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to the next show!

Me and my husband had went here for breakfast and it was excellent! The waitress was wonderful and friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable.Would definitely recommend.

I think this was a smart pivot to be offering breakfast! The breakfast menu had good breakfast offering in a cool setting! There was definitely a sense of history in the building.Parking was really easy out front!Food was tasty and probably more of a solid 4 but this place gets 5 stars for being a local place that offers a tasty breakfast! And I would return!

Lindsey was fantastic! We came for milkshakes and they had closed the stand, but she served us anyway even though she was just learning how to make them, and they were fantastic! Even made a puppichino for our puppy! Amazing service, amazing shakes :)

I have been to the Capitol for breakfast... 6 times now? The food is good and at an amazing price. I have had the two egg breakfast and the breakfast club. I love their sourdough bread and their bacon. I appreciate how the components of the meal are from local providers.🍞🥚🍳🥓🥪🧈☕️Would highly recommend!

We had breakfast at the Capitol Music Club, hubby had the Blue Collar and I had the 2 egg breakfast. Meals were hot and cooked to order. The beans were a nice addition to the breakfast. The coffee was good. Server was friendly but didnt come back to clear plates, offer a coffee refill or bring a bill. Overall a great inexpensive breakfast place with an interesting atmosphere and decor.

Breakfast was very good,the price was incredible for what you get. Love the atmosphere it had bar but almost old pub feel. For what I could see there was a pool table shuffleboard might have been other games but didnt look to hard .Lots of TVs to watch games and great service. I will be returning soon.😊

Went for their breakfast because saw ad on tv, glad I did. The breakfast was excellent and you cant beat the price. Totally recommend. Right now breakfast is Monday to Friday, but come November 7, breakfast served 7 days a week. Next to try supper. Social distancing on place, and great staff, plus coffee and tea included with the meal, that alone makes huge difference.

The nachos were fantastic. The bands were fantastic. It was pretty clean and staff was very friendly.

Great locally owned club! Always a good range of acts. I know they give back to the community as well!Staff is gracious and everything about the place is a great representation of our city in the music scene!Highly recommend you go for a bite and a show!

Amazing vibe in this place. Im from Saskatoon but live now in Victoria so first time in here. Love the venue for music! Great staff and a funky open concept floor plan. Room to dance or play shuffleboard or pool. Great "Lydias type" feel.

Great festive place! Ive performed on stage and been to various other events as well. My only complaint is the support beams in the middle of the building near the stage and dance floor. They can obstruct the view of the stage especially when the place is sold out and packed full. Not really much that can be done to fix it. Its just the way the building is but other then that the sound quality is great. Great service. The bartenders and waitresses are always smiling. They seem to really enjoy their jobs. I always have a good time at the Cap!

Another great place to see live entertainment! They bring in some pretty good acts! They also have very good food!
