Loved this place!The owner put his heart and love in this hotel. He welcomed us with good prepared information that helped us a lot.The building is very clean, pretty and cozy. Our room had a good quality bed, as well as air conditioner and fridge, which worked very well.The breakfast was great, mixed salty and sweet stuffs, freshly made by the mom of the owner.The environment of the hotel is very clean and not dusty, which is important.General we had a good time there!

Wonderful recently refurbished hotel with great breakfast, situated in a quiet part of the village just a short stroll to the centre. Much better to stay here than down in the busier parts of the valley. Hotel owner is a gem - he organised our balloon ride at short notice, and was a wealth of local information. Highly recommended.

Capiedra hotel was perfect! We travel a lot, and it is safe to say, Mehmet is by far THE BEST host we have EVER had. He literally helped us with EVERYTHING. From shuttle buses, to taxi services, to booking excursions, to extending our stay, and literally anything else we needed. He was so responsive, and we were so spoiled. The room was very clean, looked really new, and was quiet. The hotel itself is also very peaceful and is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and Uchisar castle. Which for us, was one of the prettiest things we saw in Cappadocia, specially for sunset. The breakfast was so delicious and always more than enough!! The staff was also so incredibly friendly and ALWAYS greeted us with a smile! We felt like family and didn’t want to leave. We absolutely recommend you staying at Capiedra. It’s a peaceful little stay away from the tourist area, yet so easy to access by walking, taxi, or even public bus! In the morning you can see the balloons from the terrace, which is also a stunning view! If you want to see them even closer you can ask Mehmet to help you book a private ballon tour. It was wonderful!I wish I could give Mehmet more than 5 stars because he definitely went above and beyond! THANK YOU MEHMET AND FAMILY!

lovely hotel, everything went perfect, from check in until check out. clean room with fridge (full of drinks and snacks, for a fee), hair dryer, warm blanket, jacuzzi, slippers... delisious breakfast, welcoming staff, very friendly, we were provided with a lot of information and recommendations. fast Internet connection, good location, affordable price, highly recommended 👍

A very warm welcome was given to us and the service only continued to get better and better! We are motorcyclists and the owner Mehmet immediately offered his garden to park our bikes! The breakfast was lipsmacklingly delicious it is made by Mehmets mother. The room was clean and comfortable. I think I will remember the warmth and hospitality of the lovely people at this quaint hotel for a very long time. The location is great and the view from the balcony was bombastic! I highly recommend it!

The Capiedra family hotel ran is a fantastic place to choose for a visit of Cappadocia region. The boutique-hotel is made entirely of local stone and keeps the interior very cool in the summer. Our family apartment was large and very convenient. The location is perfect, if you come by car, or by plane or by any other means of transport.

The best staff that I have seen.Owner, or manager, is very nice. Explain all what we needed. The hotel is very authentic. The rooms are clean and nice. I recommended to everyone to stay in this hotel!

An excellent place run by Great people; Mehmet, his lovely mother and co-workers make every single minute of your stay worth for it. Silent place, amazing breakfast, few mins walk to castle...let Mehmet make the plan for you if you do not have one.We will definitely be back in near future.

I stayed with my family for 3 nights and everything was very good. We found the place by chance, arriving in this small town in the evening with nothing arranged in advance. But we were lucky to find this place. A family run business, small and intimate, with people that really care if you are satisfied or not. Very clean, very good and fresh breakfast and very nice and welcoming people. I am fully recommending it.nice prople

My parents were there and they loved every bit of the hotel. Breakfast was awesome! It was made by mother of the owner. The hotel is in city center but is really quiet. They will come back if they ever have the opportunity :greetings for the owners and family friend who drives taxi :)

The breakfast was also very good. The prices also were very reasonable.The manager has been truly friendly, he recommended a lot of places to go.I recommend this place without hesitations and trully recommend to go there 😊

One of my favorite hostel/home stay experiences yet thanks to the amazing and hospitable owner, Mehmet, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and smooth. He went out of his way to: accommodate my 3am checkin, helped me book all of my tours and transport, helped me to buy my bus ticket to Pammakule, even provided some currency exchange! He is such a warm and kind person and made the stay so lovely. Each night when I returned to the hotel, he was socializing with friends and guests and offered Turkish tea while he asked about my day.The location is perfect. Just a 5 min walk to Uchisar Castle and a 5 min drive to Goeme town. I watched the balloons and sunset from the balcony just outside my room where they also served a filling and delicious Turkish breakfast every morning. Interestingly, this building was Mehmet’s childhood home which he converted to this hotel which gives it a charming vibe. Not too many facilities offered, but for the price point it was more than I could have asked for. Would definitely stay again and look forward to returning to Cappadocia.

We loved our stay at Hotel Capiedra in Uçhisar. It was recommended to us by our friends and it did not disappoint. Mehmet handled the reservation, arranged airport transfers and a ballon flight for us - his excellent English made it all very easy! The breakfasts his mother made every day were delicious - an egg dish (which varied from day to day), cheese, tomato, cucumber, meat, various breads, jam, honey, Nutella… Everyone was very friendly, the rooms and bathrooms very clean and recently updated. The location is in a quiet street a 5 minute walk to Uçhisar castle. We would certainly return.

Best hotel I stayed in during my visit to Turkey. Lovely Turkish coffee on arrival! The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful, had great knowledge of the area and helped organise tours. Also no problem with me checking out a little late. Definitely recommend for a true authentic stay in cappadocia

Staying at the Capiedra Hotel was such a delight! The breakfast was beautifully presented and as soon as we were ready with a great view of the castle and some balloons. The place is great! Is a family business really friendly. Is new, clean and warm. It had a great heating system-from the floor. Keeped the room warm and not dry the air. The internet here is really good!!! I was remoting working and was able to do meetings and everything without any problem. I really recommend it!!

We booked one room at Capiedra Hotel in October 2021. Mehmed is a pleasant owner and he has a lot of information and maps for all the places in Cappadocia.Also he was very helpful and made for us the all the arrangements for balloon flight.The rooms are clean, comfortable. In the firs morning, when we woke up there were balloons in front of the windows! The breakfast is very good with local products. If well come back in Cappadocia well stay in Capiedra Hotel for sure!

This family run hotel is a real hidden gem! I stayed there for 3 nights during a trip to Capadocia and it was perfect. The rooms are authentically decorated and super clean. The mattress is comfortable and the rooms nicely warm on a cool Capadocian night. The best about this place is the nice owner, who is very friendly and helpful. He gave me many really helpful advice which made my holidays there perfect.Also 5 stars for the included breakfast, which you can have on a romantic outside terrace. Best value for money! I would recommend this pace 100% and will surely come back!!

I stayed at the Capiedra hotel for five days, and I never had a better experience at a hotel. Mehmet and his staff, including his incredible mother and friend, are some of the most friendly people in the hotel business.The rooms are spotless, the complimentary breakfast in the morning is delicious, and the location is perfect. With only a few minutes to walk to the city center, you will be near the taxis, busses, and the castle.I highly recommend staying there, and when I come back to Cappadocia I wont think twice about where Im going to stay, the Capiedra hotel!Thanks again, Mehmet, for the outstanding service!!!!

Amazing hotel with amazing owner and staff! Mehmet will do everything for you to make your stay at his hotel totally excellent! Hotel is new, very cozy, in great location in couple of minutes walking from Üçhısar castle. Breakfasts from Mehmet’s mother are delicious and huge. Also there is a great tradition of evening tea boiled on open fire, when you can lovely talk to owner and other guests.Absolutely sure that on our next visit to Cappadocia we will not even think where to stay and go directly to Mehmet to his lovely Capiedra hotel.Thank you so much for our great staying at your hotel! We truly recommend this family run business. Staying here exceeded our expectations on every single step. The warm and friendly vibe of the place can clearly be felt in the hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts. Breakfast (delicious, go for it!is served on a terrace overlooking the town. Evenings are an opportunity to socialize with other guests as Mehmet (the hostbrews delicious Turkish tea in the evening. The tea is prepared over a wooden fire in a traditional way (much better than what you get in most restaurants!The room was spacious, clean, designed with a cosy personal touch. We appreciate the super comfortable mattress. The sleep was incredibly regenerating.We loved the place and wished we had booked a few more nights.

This place was the best hotel I stayed in Turkey. Good location in Uchisar, balcony views of the castle, clean and new faculties, AMAZING breakfasts, connections to schedule all local activities. But what really made this place great for me was the extremely kind and accommodating owners and staff. Mehmet makes you feel at home with a restful and hospitable environment. I was glad to get to know him and some of the other guests over nightly wood-fired Turkish tea. Loved my stay here!

Capiedra is a perfect home stay. Good location, very clean, good breakfast, silent location, walkable distance to Castle and Pigeon valley. The owner Mehmut is very kind and helping person. He is available all the time and can make a good plan for your stay. Everything is well organized and Mehmut will make sure the stay remains memorable. The evening Chai outside home is meeting point after your day tour to have some gossips with fellow travellers. You also have a per cat (pashato play with. Overall Thumps up for the hospitality.

Well .. first of i would like to say that it was my first booking in arnbnb and i was a bit worry how everything gonna be. But now, looking back, i can say that it is my best time in hotel i have ever booked for 7 years. I had feelings that i was in my friends house. I would like to say thank you , Mehmet for attention, politeness. He repleis immediately, in deep evening he pick me up from the bus station in Nevşehir, which is 18 km from Uçhisar, he showed and explained everything. Yes, this hotel is not luxury 5 star hotel , but the most important for me that the house has its own soul,. Such small things at the reception, upstairs as lights , models of baloons , flowers , birds, pictures...all these make the place very very cozy and u feel like at home. For me that is very important. Rooms are clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable, blancket is warmIn the morning we had breakfast at the terrace. The view is amazing! U can see the castle, the highest in those places. Sun is shining and makes u warm when mornings air is fresh and still a bit cold. I want to say: " thank u very much to Mehmets mama for the delicious breakfast, and to Savaş, who served our breakfast and was very attentive to all guests, several times he asks do we need anything else? Is everything ok?". Mehmet always will help u about where to go to hiking , if u need he will even draw on paper the way how go rich interesting places ( it helped me a lot)). Ask him to help about baloon trip. Dont go any tour company, they will u more expensive price. Last my evening before check out we had traditional turkish çay , cooked in semivar, we had talk with all members of this hotel. It was like in good family.. I have only best memories about my trip , about people whom i knew, i impressed! Thank u very much! From the first step it is noticeably that in Capiedra they love what they are doing, they love to make good atmosphere for their guests. I will come back again for sure one day!)

Mehmet provided incredible service. Capiedra is among the best, if not the best service experiences I have ever had. The location is great, the rooms are awesome, and we could not have been more satisfied with our experience!

The host is very hospitable. We were greeted with a warm welcome. There are three terraces with an excellent view of the castle. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. It is almost for the first time that I had more sockets than I needed! The breakfast was delicious.

Not to mention the rooms were spotless, modern and had fun Turkish decor! The breakfast they served in the morning was nothing short of amazing as well, each guest getting a huge platter of traditional Turkish style breakfast. You need to stay here!

The hotel location is excellent, it’s 3 minutes walk to the castle which is the highest point of Cappadocia and there Are restaurants and shops nearby. But above all the manager is really kind and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious and everything there feels like home…

We stayed here for one night and we wish we could stay more. The hotel is very homey and cosy, super clean and nice. The staff, specifically the receptionist are very helpful and kind. They greeted us with a turkish coffee and told us all the information we needed for visiting the area. At night they had a wooden fire turkish tea gathering, we made such good friends there and ended up spending our tour time with them. The breakfast was so yummy and the touristic areas are so close. If you like panoramic views of the whole area you should totally choose Uçhisar over the others. We loved our stay at Capiedra and I would totally recommend it.

First of all, the hotel itself has a perfect location. It is not right next to the Uchisar castle, allowing you to park your car freely and walk around easily. On the other hand, it is pretty close to everywhere. On my trip, I like the most the communication with the owner. He was on every detail. In addition to the communication, the breakfast was pretty good. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet and cool (we didnt even need any AC). All over, it was a perfect stay for my family and me.

Really wonderful place.Ive never had the best hotels in my life.The host Mehmet is really kind and friendly.The room is perfect, very comfortable bedding better than 5 stars hotel. You can also take a shower very hot water with powerful water pressure. After traveling you can relieve your fatigue completely in this hotel. Wifi speed is similar to that of Korea. Very fast.You can go uchisar castle just 5min. And you can take a bus to goreme every 30min. But I recommend walk to goreme at least once. You can see amazing scenery.You can be treated to a wonderful breakfast. Its very delicious(Turkish breakfastand large in amount of food. Everything fresh.I assure you, if you stay here, youll never regret it. I recommend this hotel 120%.I really appreciate to host Mehmet.I hope to see him and his mother again.

We stayed there as our first hotel in Turkey. We couldn’t ask for more :we were very satisfied.The hotel is ran by a family with a long time experience in running hotels and with an education background of tour guidance and hotel managements.Mehmet were able always to answer our questions and helped us in everything we needed.The hotel self is located in a very peaceful area in Uchisar village, from the location we were able to go everywhere we wanted in cappadocia. Room was very clean and well oriental designed. Breakfast was also great with a beautiful view on the village, castle and mountains.Totally recommended! :)

We had a really great time at the Capiedra Hotel. The rooms are lovely, the hotel is perfectly located in the center and the people running the hotel have been so welcoming, friendly and caring. You can have breakfast on one of the terrace offering a great view. We even stayed longer than expected ! I would highly recommend the Capiedra Hotel.

Capiedra Hotel was a great base for exploring Cappadocia. Its less than a 3 minute walk to the Uçhisar castle where there are fantastic views of the balloons. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfortable.The stone walls kept the room nice and cool even in the hot weather. The family that owns the hotel is incredibly friendly and kind. Theyre happy to help in any way they can and have a lot of advice about the area. After visiting Göreme, which is easy to get to from Uçhisar, we were even happier with our decision to stay in Uçhisar- its much more quiet and quaint. We would absolutely stay at Capiedra Hotel again.
