Cap D'or - Bar in Al Jizah, Egypt
Very bad staff and poor service !! Don’t recommend it at all !!
Hands down best bar in cairo
Beer at more affordable rates
If you want to have beer or wine go there...its a nice place to visit with the best stuff and music if you want to enjoy the real egyptian night life...recommended 100%
High high spirit prices, low level interior...what is it all about?
Nice place in down town with amazing songs and atmosphere
Nice old-style bar to have a beer or two
Good place with fair prices
Its a local cozy bar with nice music
We arrived with my friend and since the very beginning Mina took care of us.Nice environment, tasty drinks, good vibes. What else?
Good place for quick beer
The coolest place downtown. So many memories.
Good vibesStuff are helpful but bit silly
Was warmly welcomed. Nice place to grab a beer. Mostly locals inside. Football on a projector screen. Music was a bit loud, but no bother. Yes, there’re smokers inside.Best to get beers. I think they try their best to make cocktails from whatever they have. Their Lemon Drop was vodka and sweet and sour.Bathroom was spotless when I was there.
Dirty, unprofessional staff couldnt stay there more than 5 minutes.
Nice moods good price the best bar in down town provide hard cocktails 🍸 👌 all kinds of beers and all choices from mezzanine menu
One of the remaining gems of Cairo’s old nightlife scene. Quiet, dimly-lit smokey old bar, great for a laid-back evening with a few close friends. Fair prices, good service, the best bar snacks in town.
Nice place to take some beers, they have Sakara King (10ºwell priced. Recommended
Best and only proper bar in Cairo.!
Clean and not very expensive. Service were really pushy though.
Awesome place and helpful staff
Not expected, I surprisingly had a very good time but wish if the restrooms were a bit more tidy.
Not a bad spot and as you can see, the free beer snacks are enough to feed a horse!
The only bar in Cairo. Great service, good atmosphere, nice drinks, wonderful music.
Loved this little bar in Cairo. Drank the local beer and ate the tapas that came with them. Quiet during the day.
Old and cozy, the fans are noisy. Air Conditioning cozy bar. Has a small Toilet.Good location for walking as the nearest parking garage about 1 km away. Good for groups and dates. Local beer is cheaper than Heineken (55 LE+ Tips. People sometimes get too drunk and make a seen but the staff are very patient and cool. Service is good reasonably.
Awesome indoor decorations, beer is a bit pricey...cool vibes, bartenders are a bit pushy for tips. Free snacks are served along with your ordered beers
The beer is expensive, the shop is full of cigarettes smoke with no proper ventilation, not enough place to sit. No proper social distancing. The place is expensive. The staff is okay
One of the most cozy places i ve been to.
Perfect place for a date. Its in downtown so its not far away.It can be a little crowded at night so the perfect time to go would be in the morning. The prices are affordable, music is great and the whole atmosphere of the place is just nice.Always enjoy grabbing a drink at this place
Good place, cozy , and good prices, friendly people
Nice place to hangout w/ friends or alone ; affordable prices . the staff is rude , but they have great free mezza .... If it’s a match night or weekend try to make it there early so u can find a table .
Baladi bar in Cairo. Decent prices. It gets crowded on Thursday and Friday nights. Like many other baladi bars, it has poor ventilation. Still enjoyable if u beat the crowds.
Like a small Manhattan "hat check" club. Excellent table service with complimentary vegetable hors de ouvres. .with your drinks. Many locals and foreigners.
We were seating normal and the waiter came to ask if we wanted more drinks. As we said no, he brought the check and "invited" us to leave because they needed our table for other new clients
Really good place to hangout. They didn’t have cocktails but they serve most brands of alcohol with nice local music and ambience.
Great service, amazing design. Would recommend it to anyone willing to try a “low key” barAlso, mina the manager is just awesome!
One of the best local bars we visited in Cairo: lots of history, high ceilings, well-lit, reasonable prices.
Great place to come and grab a couple beers while watching the futbol matches that are on here.Downside is if you don’t smoke this place will bother you as everyone here mostly chain smokes while drinking. Also after 9pm this place gets crowded
A local bar with drinks like Beer and Egyptian Hard drinks but it provides a very good service but the main problem is the stuff always trying to get extra money from you so you Have to ask about the prices of every thing before ordering it, minimum entrance age is 21 and no reservations needed
The place is so calm that give you a sense of peace , service is too good I appreciate every moment in this place
Its a good place, old music, low light, but its very crowded every Thursday, its suitable for groups
An authentic local bar that has reasonable and affordable prices. It offers the local Egyptian lager beer which includes Stella, Sakara and other local brands. You can get some great local spirits too including Auld Stag whiskey and VAT20. The bar has simple yet great sides that you can enjoy while sipping on your drink thinking about your life choices and regretting not being able to travel to the past when this bar was in its hayday when Egypt was a proper kingdom and had a reasonable and simpler approach to life.
One of the most authentic bars in downtown Cairo. You can feel the history in the walls the service and the customers around you. It a very humble nice place to chill but always respect the audience around you.
A nice pub with high ceiling, free and great appetizers. But only local beer and alcohol beverages.Closed area but has a good atmosphere that makes you wanna come again.
A great classic local bar in the heart of cairo.
A small hidden gym in the slums of Alexandria Downtown .Its essence is the biggest thing in the picture.A classic 1940s pub, with a vibrant mix of guests, always.Tip: you have to ask for the famous " bassaria"
you can enjoy cheap priced beer and free appetizers, beans and cheese salad here. and a good atmosphere thanks to the high ceiling. Its an old middle class bar. the reason I gave it two stars is that its restricted only for men groups, just like the pop traditional coffeshops in Cairo.
My personal favorite bar in downtown ... for me this is the perfect baladi bar ... great atmosphere ... cheap beers ... friendly staff .. they are not trying to rip you off ... not as known as horreya which makes it quieter and nicer for conversations ... if you have only one day and you want to visit a baladi bar ... cap dor ahould be your choice
One of the most well popular Egyptian mainstream bars in Cairo. Very iconic. Order a cold Stella bottle and ful nabet. No ladies toilet available.
