Tivie is still there, Robyn has been back for awhile now. Miami is still there. And Megan from Tony Pepperoni is there right now. Ive been living in Jacksonville Atlantic Beach for 6yrs now and This was the first bar I went to. Lizz not there anymore and we all miss here. You ever in town stop by there and give those Ladies and Miami a shout out. Oh yeah, the guy that has been doing the cleaning, his name is Reggie. They good people.

This place would easily be a four star dive for smokers. However, for a non-smoker like myself, it’s almost unbearable to be inside for any amount of time due to the smoke. It’s a shame bc I can walk there.

Went there over a week ago for a wedding reception. Our bartender (who I think was the only one working the barwas excellent! I dont remember her name but, she rocked!!

It was just another Dive Bar however the employees were very nice the patrons were kind of in a trance maybe they had something good to smoke I dont know but it was cool for about 5 minutes

Great pool spot with an array of unique characters. I was only drinking water but the bartender was still kind and attentive. Tilly was on point and so were.the locals who frequent the joint. A nice gentleman even offered me his pool stick., Great experience

Bartender was very sweet. Not very busy. You didnt have to wait forever to play pool.

Locals spot with older crowd. Large space inside, but not alot happening. Could definitely use a good cleaning and better upkeep by employees and staff.

Really has gone down in service. Take 10 minutes for your presence to be recognized and another 10 to get a drink. Even after "Bar Rescue" AND new ownership, I feel like a mushroom because of the dark/smokey atmosphere

Best dive bar on Mayport road. Great drinks. Affordable prices too. My wife and I make it at least for a drink once a week.

Really expected this place to turn around but sadly its still a dump. Still cant understand why they dont have live bands. Its just saw this could have been a good come back.

Fairly decent hole in the wall for locals and out of towners. The prices for drinks arent too outrageous and crowd sizes vary from desolate to moderate on any given day. A cozy little place to get hammered. Prepare yourself to reek of cigarettes if you intend to stay long.

Your local bar. Pretty cool place.They went all out for Halloween, did a great job decorating. Service was good, and the back patio was a nice place to relax.Good place for drinks and relaxing with friends. Nothing over the top, but t I would recommend if you live in the area.

This used to be a great bar... unfortunately they were on bar rehab, cut the karaoke KJ Cindy from 3 days to 1, upped their drink prices, atmosphere went to garbage and the owners are douches. Time to find a new bar

The blond tender is pretty judgemental. This place has been on ‘Bar Rescue’ TV show though it is over-rated, I agree with Tyler they haven’t changed

We love coming here. Almost always a good crowd. The bartenders are always there to refill our drinks. Hands down our favorite watering hole. 😎👍👍👍

Bar Rescue should have let them sink. If I could give them less then on star I would. They got a second chance and went back to there old way.

May Have been on bar rescue but didnt do much for the place really. Not a fan of the male bartender. The lights stay on at noght...kind of kills the atmosphere. Nice patio though

Love the new look. The new drinks were good. Music could have been less loud since there really wasnt that many people there. Had to go to back deck just to talk.

Nice little bar but mostly the same group of people there all the time. Its not a hang out for a bunch of people just the same old crowd.

Great drink specials, Voted best dive bar in Jax for a reason. This place has been here for years. Just a "have a good time" kinda bar. With karaoke, live bands and a geeat sounding jukebox the music is covered.

I have been to Capn Odies a few times over the past 3 years and have had a good time.I went there saturday 11/02/2013. The Bouncer Big Mike told my wife a table was avalible so she cleaned up the table of empty cups and full ashtrays, Later a guy came up screaming at her telling her she stole their table. He pushed and hit her ,then the bouncer escorted her to the other side of the bar. When I returned from the restroom I found her sitting in the corner. I asked her what happened. When she told me I went to talk to the guy then he and 3 of his buddies attacked me . They beat me down and kicked me the bouncers finally threw them out.After I finally was able to get up my left eye was swollen shut...bottom line ..stay away from this place
