4000 Canyons Resort Dr, Park City, UT 84098, United States, Riverton
Home base at Park City ski resort with lodging, equipment rentals, dining & chair-lift access.
I live in one of the hotels in this area and the atmosphere is very welcoming not to mention the various events and restaurants
Spent a week here. Lots to do and shuttle can take you downtown anytime
Canyons and Vail Resorts will no longer have free parking and charging $25 per day.
Great place, highly recommend!Plenty to do for the kids, great food options in walking distance, and great places for a date.
A lot has changed over the years since we’ve been coming in ‘04 but there has been a need. They are renovating a lot of the facilities and brining them into 2022 which is refreshing and nice. Though some may argue they are taking away from the “mountain” vibes, they are incorporating enough scenic decor to compliment the modern era.
Westlake resorts and spa was amazing! Great staff, amazing views, and plenty to do all around town. I hope we can come back soon
We went to Canyone Village for the Park City Wine Festival, we did not stay here.
This is one of my favorite Westgate Resort facilities. It is beautiful and well maintained. The main reception lobby is currently being renovated but the temporary reception trailer is in the driveway across from it. Check-in was fast and easy. We used the indoor pool, hot tub, dry sauna and steam room tonight and will sleep well tonight in our comfortable beds. The rooms are very nice and there is a hot tub or jacuzzi in them. Our suite has a steam bath in the shower. Full kitchen, balcony patio, television in each bedroom, plus the loving room. Wet bar, washer and dryer and even a gas fireplace that turns on with a switch. We love the Elk Lodge decor, and its convenient proximity to the full blown game arcade. Drafts Beer Bar is down the hall from our room serving a great menu of bar and grill items. The is a small Market Place that is well stocked with items you might have forgotten. A Farmers Market is down the hill every Wednesday from 11AM to 5PM. I highly recommend Westgate Park City Resort for a great vacation in Utah.
This place is great. Very awesome staff. Beautiful views
Ritzy place! Fantastic ski experience, HUGE place. They have enclosed heated bubble chairs!!! Blew my mind.
Great place to stay in park city. Walking distance to restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub and free parking. I would stay here again.
Great rooms and super convenient location.. way expensive food options around there even for park city... kinda ridiculous 🙄
Other than bring VERY large and long distances between areas, it was great for the conference. Conference rooms were too cold, but better than no AC.
Great eggs and bacon breakfast at bar with a fruit parfait and sourdough bread. Delicious. Very attentive staff. Clean restaurant, well organized. Polite and professional staff. Great service! Repeat customers. Thank you!
Clean and a breath of fresh air. But if you want to eat at the restaurants located at the top of the gondola: be prepared to pay over $60 per person just to get there! This was in summer time mind you. Not like we would be using the ride up to ski the mtn. And we werent lugging mtn bikes. We took our patronage elsewhere!!
Resort was beautiful and well maintained. Would’ve given 5 stars if the adults only hot tub hadn’t been broken all week. Drafts restaurant was excellent!
We’ve been coming to Canyons for several years and absolutely love it. So much so that we bought a place there 😀⛷
Gorgeous facility! Our room was well equipped with amenities like a Nespresso Essenza mini including capsules. Fluffy warm robes for an enjoyable after bath experience. The Bee Kind line of shampoo, conditioners, body wash, etc. has a marvelous aroma that leaves you feeling invigorated with a silky layer of overall softness!
Summer concerts and rooms are great. Biking during the day. Dinner then a concert.
Wonderful room very friendly people and you couldnt beat the price for the amenities youve got.
Beautiful hotels with views of the mountains. Some of the clusters of hotels have some small stores as well.
Fun area, we visited on the 4th of July and they had lots of things to do and great music in the plaza
The fresh mountain air and the free concerts are always worth making a drive for. We always look forward to those. But the drinks are super expensive. They charged me $9 for a 4 oz pour of wine that was in a plastic cup....hmmmmm.
Stayed at the Hilton grand vacations hotel. The village is really cool. Lots to do and a beautiful setting. Not sure what it is Im eating though.
We love celebrating the Fourth of July at Canyons! There are great food options, games and live music. We enjoyed staying in the canyons for a few days this summer.
Don’t pay for a chairlift ride in Park City come ride from the first parking lot up to the base. My kids loved it and it was 100% free!
I visited in June. It was quiet and beautiful. Plenty to do even without snow. Id stay in this area again.
Very nice place to spend a summer day if youre looking for a great way to relax outside. Great food at Red Pine, fun hikes and biking trails, and some disc golf if the mood strikes. Very mellow and underappreciated.
I have coming to this place since mi kids were 4 and 6. What can I say... we love it... Neve had bad experiences with the lifts or crowded lo ines. I also love it in the summeelr
INSANE!! This is by far the best ski resort. Has plenty of trails so youll never get bored. Finished 9990 this winter.
Had a connecting room which had extremely loud kids up very early being loud and up late being loud.Service was not great when asking for room supplies. Took over an hour and a half to get new towels. Asked for help with our bags when we checked out. After 45 minutes we just took care of it ourselves. The water pressure was terrible in our shower, water was luke warm, fan in bathroom didnt work. Not sure I will ever stay here again.
Wonderful food and great selection. Has a awesome pioneer and western theme and ambience. Great for the whole family. A little expensive but well worth it.
Westgate has a wonderful environment for a great vacation with or without kids! Just dont get lost in the many different buildings & levels with stairs going everywhere!
Canyons side of the resort is way better than the PC side. Less touristy, more challenging terrain, and slightly less crowded.
Great place to shop, eat, ski, snowboard and just enjoy the mountains year round. In April everything begins to turn green and the views are breathtaking
Canyons is definitely the side of park city to stay on if you want a more laid back atmosphere. Less crowded than the park city mountains side both on and off the slopes.
Parking easy access, free. Mountain offered steep terrain and lift lines were minimal even with crowded parking lot. Lifts seemed dated. Skiers are all funneled down into the canyon floors can get crowded with all levels of skier.
Aside from snow conditions being less than optimal and Park City not able to make snow, the Canyons Village is a decent base for skiing. It could benefit from a few more restaurants open for dinner and shuttle service up to the base so we oldsters dont have to climb stairs.
Terrible experience at Park City and Canyons resort. Extremely overcrowded with over 40 mins wait time to take the Gondola, the logic behind lift placement doesnt make sense, making people congregate into huge lines. Tail grooming was terrible (nearby Deer Valley under same conditions had amazing grooming), huge amount of rocks that scratched my skis. Didnt enjoy this resort at all.
Had a great time! I just wish that the green hill wasn’t the end of other runs. You have lots of beginners mixed with more experienced skiers. I’m sure they won’t change anything over this review, but just for anyone who is at a beginner level I would look for a more beginner friendly mountain.
This Ski Season has been terrible. Many important ski lifts have been not running all season. Every time it snows they have mechanical issues. When the Gondola breaks down which is often they won’t start the Orange bubble early to compensate. They wait til 9 and let the line get so massive and unorganized even though they can very easily let people on early to reduce the enormous mob of tourists. The staff here is very bad at what they do. They make zero effort to move people around efficiently Gondolas are out of order constantly. It’s very upsetting to see this mountain in this state of disrepair. It used to be a really great place (Many years ago).
Demo skis edges were not maintained-dull and did not give any control on ice patches- torn ACL.Large crowds at the main hub with looong wait for lift , bus shuttle to another site was faster.Scenery and views were amazing. Unfortunately snow was below normal, no real powder, spotty grooming.
Clean village with options for shopping, food, drinks, and some outdoor bars to finish a perfect spring day grabbing some drinks in the sun. Easily accessible from neighboring condos and resorts. Gondola access has day lift hours
We have been coming here every year over the last 10 years but this is our last trip here. While the accommodations are great the atmosphere and amenities have went downhill. My guess is due to the increase people in the area and not enough decent restaurants and other facilities to accommodate. In the past, the canyons offered a free shuttle to and from Park City main Street which made all the good restaurants accessible. Now the shuttle service has been eliminated so youre only option is a 20 to $30 lift Uber ride. You cant even realistically get to the free public transportation as the cabriolet closes at 6:00pm.The remaining restaurants in the area require months to weeks reservations. There is no market in sight and the waiting list for drafts and kuchu shabu while awesome requires you to get in line at 5:00 p.m. when they open. Its probably best now to stay in the Park City area unless you have a car.
Canyons village is great. Parking is easy, cabriolet takes you right up to the gondola or orange bubble. And its always less busy than the park city side. Its the best.
I love that they have fireplaces outside for guests. It would be awesome if they had a little coffee/tea/cocoa stand, so you dont have to go inside the restaurant, especially now 2022. I saw something like that but it only seem to sell alcohol. Still would recommend
Fantastic experience, from the lift up from the parking lot, to the village, the people, the lifts to the top, and condition of the slopes. Class act. ... tons of slopes, and even though only a few were open when we were there, I had a different experience on each run. Oh, and we saw moose from the gondola lift.
Hard to rate higher because of the layout, lots of floor differences where you have to go to multiple floors to get where needed. The staff was great, but also there are minimal options to shower on the day of checkout if you are still skiing that day. Facilities were clean and up kept. Consider the type of property this is and perhaps you sacrifice the layout for the convenience to the gondola. On property rental and lockers. The spa was good as well with options and friendly staff.
Stayed at the Silverado Lodge. Very accommodating and friendly staff, meet all our needs even on a hectic holiday weekend. Got a 3 bedroom loft and it exceeded our expectations. Great view from both decks, each room had a full bathroom plus the extra bathroom. Extra quiet on the property even took the children for a evening dip in the heated pool and spa. Cant wait to come back!
Very nice! Clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. The view was amazing!I was surprised however, that there is no complimentary breakfast. $2.50 for a box of cereal that they GIVE AWAY at other hotels. $4.50 for a muffin. Ive been to many hotels where juice, coffee, yogurt, milk, fruit, ALL COMPLIMENTARY. First time Ive ever skipped breakfast just because it shouldve been free. This is only my opinion.
