Always good food. Once they understand that you want the steak well done. They dont mess it up. When they do make a mistake, they make it up with a price reduction or not charging you etc

Not the best place, if you trying to stay away from carbs. Sugar is even in batter. I had mussels - first time with sugar, would not recommend. Best part is happy hour. after 4 people made order, only one drink was included in happy hour pricing.?????

Had a prime rib that was like rubber. I didnt complain at the time because I was with a group and didnt really care about the food. But I realized later that I should have said something. It was dead on a Saturday night, so I suspect the restaurant wont be around for much longer anyway. I give it 3 stars only because it was really cheap. $40 for 3 courses.

Canyon Creek Scarborough town centre location definitely dropped the ball last night on Valentine’s Day! Trying to be a romantic husband, I made reservations for Valentines Day for 8:15pm. When we arrived the main entrance was packed. We asked how long the wait was and were told ‘a few minutes’. Ultimately, we waited over an hour just to be seated, then an additional 25 minutes just to get a waiter to bring us water and take our orders. And on top of this, many of our menu choices were sold out!I’m not usually not one to complain and I understand it was Valentine’s Day, however last night’s experience was a terrible one and I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone. Avoid this establishment during special days or events because they are sure to over book.

Great food and great service, staff was just phenomenal and went above and beyond. I just wish I had gotten names. Drinks were made perfect and the food was so good and so filling.

We were here for Valentines. We made reservations and they were really behind. In all honesty it didnt matter. The service from the bar staff (2 blonde ladies, I should have taken down their names, the manager who was in a burgundy shirtwere wonderful! They were all working so hard and were so busy, but the customer service didnt suffer at all. The food was fantastic! We had a great evening!

Came here for a family birthday dinner. The food was great and likewise with the service. The whipped honey butter is hard to put down; so practice some control or you will have trouble finishing your entree. Mike was very attentive and polite. 5 star rating across the board.

I really tried to like this place but honestly our service was practically non existent. Went with empty glasses and waiting for simple things like a beer or water 10+ minutes and the place was definitely not busy.When it was addressed to the waiter he got immediately defensive and said its not his fault hes the only one there serving although he was apparently working as a team with another guy we hardly saw as well. Manager came over and basically said we have to be understanding because there wasnt a lot of staff and people chose to sit in different parts of the restaurant. Excuse me? I take my family out for a $300 dinner and we have to be understanding because theres no-one to take care of us? Thats insane. Never in my life have I gone to the Keg which is essentially the same price point, and received poor service. Oh, and after the manager came we hardly saw our waiter til we were given the bill. The manager gave free dessert but we didnt really want free anything. Just wanted to be served appropriately.Really, a shame. Food was pretty good. Service and the waiters/managers little guilt trip of "its not our fault, you gotta be understanding" was really lame. Making a paying customer compromise the quality of their experience based on your inability to delivery decent quality service is never a good business strategy. We should have been taken care of properly, plain and simple. Poor scheduling or whatever the excuse was should never have been our problem.

I always love coming to this restaurant! We had the whole restaurant to ourselves which was pretty cool (Thursday evening close to closing). We decided to go out for dinner tonight as a late birthday dinner and was most definitely not disappointed. The staff was great as usual, super friendly. The food was amazing as always.I love going to canyon creek for their fresh bread and honey butter. It is soo good. Pair that with a blueberry smash or a put the lime in the coconut...yumWe both ordered the Kansas city steak soup. This soup was so flavorful and hearty. The perfect thing to warm you up on a cold night. For our entrees he had the prime rib sandwich and fries while I had the hunter chicken. Both were cooked to perfection and were so flavorful. The chicken was so tender it just melted in your mouth with the rich gravy. The prime rib was so moist and with the horseradish...so good! We decided to share a creme brulee for dessert. Everywhere we go, if creme brulee is on the menu then we absolutely have to get it to try. Canyon creek is so inventive with their flavours for the creme brulee. I must say, that they are hands down one of the best places for creme brulee.All in all this place is great! We always have such a great experience coming here, whether its alone for a date night or together with a large group of people. If youre looking for a good time, good food and good company, then canyon creek has you covered! It goes without saying, but I will definitely continue to be long term customer of canyon creek for the foreseeable future!

Lots of free parking on site here and close to the 401. Inside is a little dark but nice and clean. Staff are very pleasant and friendly. Menu is not huge, which is good, means a better turn over of stock keeping it fresh.The $40 3 course menu option is great. Their seasonal chipotle steak is my new fav, very good. Prices are what one would expect from a Canyon Creek. Have to go back again, next time a little sooner than last.

Top notch culinary experience. Good selection of wine and the kitchen knows the levels of rare to well done Wait staff very professional and accommodating. Hostess and doorman very friendly. Overall super dinner service

It is our first time to try this restaurant. The setting is quiet and the atmosphere is fine with dimming lights. Its set dinner costs only $40 which is highly resonable. Generally, the food is fantastic and the service is good. It is sure to have my recommendation.

This is one of my favorite restaurant for now. Our last service fell short of our expectations though. Our server could have taken a bit more time to provide better service...instead of the little, yet meaningful mistakes made with our orders. I love the pre fixed menu 👍🏾

We were a group of 14 people having our office Christmas lunch. It was fourth or fifth time we were having Christmas lunch in this restaurant.The service was very good. Our waiter Thanu was very diligent without being overbearing, considerate and helpful; he was always there when we needed him.The food was exquisite. Most of us had soup of the day. It happened to be mushroom soup; one of the best ever. Every one of us believes the main course, whatever the choice was, was very fresh, done just the way it should be and the right temperature. The desert was very good. However, it would be nice if they could update their set menu more often, because every of the last three times we had lunch at Canyon Creek, we had a choice of double brownie or creme brulée.Anyway, we enjoyed our lunch very much. So I went with a group of about 15 people. The service was fast considering I ordered last. It wasnt busy for a Wednesday afternoon, but there was a good crowd. What 8 appreciate is that the dining room doesnt have 60 tvs on every wall blasting you with everything. Good lighting and excellent atmosphere.What I was a little taken back by was the menu. I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad (~$18 not inc. tax or tipand what I got was not something that I would ever pay that much for. A bowl of lettuce with way too much dressing, a few croutons sprinkled about and bacon (which I will give them was realand a slice of grilled chicken breast (from appearance probably a breast - but from anemic dehydrated chicken). The protein was dry, so perhaps thats why there was way too much dressing.Anyhow, I dont know if Ill be back. It seems rather expensive and portion size was small(at least for the salad).

Great overall experience! Many choices on the menu, great for big groups, to accommodate everyone. I ordered a steak, and it was cooked to perfection. Prices are reasonable as well.

Quality of the meat is noticeably higher than the Keg.Excellent flavouring and precisely cooked to the way you want it.Consistent quality.I didnt find Bavarian, Octagon or Tom Jones that much better than this place despite their prices being triple compared to Canyon Creek.Best value steak restaurant in town

Wait staff were very friendly. Canyon dip appetizer and complementary bread were very good. I had the salmon which left a strange musty aftertaste that lasted until morning. Not sure if it was from garlic but it was not pleasant. My friends steak, ordered medium rare, was only medium rare at the thickest end. The rest of the steak was overcooked and dry. When we got up to leave our shoes were sticking to the carpet, which looked a bit worn and in need of a good shampooing. Sadly we will probably think twice before returning.Update: After emailing a complaint to the manager and trying to follow up several times, they have yet to make good with their promise of some sort of compensation. We felt scolded for not saying anything immediately during the visit. And now we are ignored. It’s not about the compensation as much as it’s about poor customer service.Avoid this place. There are better restaurants to spend your money at.

Very tasty food, the price was ok. Definitely, a place where you have to go in Toronto. You can go with your family, spouse or date.I just love the privacy of this place and the comfy seats, also the food was amazing.Totally recommended!!!

Food was very delicious and also great service! The truffle /Parmesan fries absolutely my new favourite! It was my first time at Canyon Creek but I am sure I will be back soon!

I quite like this place. I enjoy the atmosphere and the sauces that they offer you. I did get the Filet Mignon with the red wine sauce, and I absolutely love the sauce. The steak was tender and well made. I had their parmesan truffle fries and that was fairly nice too, maybe a bit less cheese on the fries would be better. The only gripe that I had with the experience was that the service was a bit lacking. The people were nice, but the way that they spoke to us felt awkward at moments (awkward pauses). Some of the dishes were also given to the wrong person. But otherwise, I enjoy eating at Canyon Creek, and this place is probably the only other place fine for steaks if you want to stay in this specific area. No doubt there are other better places, but with this price and at this area, it is not a bad choice.

The go to place for steak and date night. Food is always cooked to the perfection (I almost order same thing everytime 🤭). Never disappointed. I love their prix fixe menu.

I was there on a Saturday to celebrate a family members birthday. I have not been to a Canyon creek in a while so I was very surprised at the level of service and quality of food. The best part was the Fillet Mignon which I have ordered in many other chain restaurants and have been terribly disappointed. This was the first steak I have truly felt was worth the money. Other commented on the quality of the veggies of their main course which are usually an afterthought at may places. Everything was cooked very well, full of flavour and not over seasoned or spiced.I would recommend this location for sure.Clean bathrooms, pleasant servers and attentive service.

Always on point when we go there. The drinks are perfect, the food is amazing. The atmosphere and seating are very good. Always a pleasant night when you dine here. The steaks and seafood are always a good size portion. And the time it takes to get your food is perfect. A really well run restaurant. Bravo!!

The service was excellent and the food equally as good. Went for Valentine’s Day, our reservation was for 8pm and we got sat right on time. The server was very friendly and welcoming. The server ensured we were alright and everything came out the way we had asked for it. Any questions we had the server was able to answer ASAP with assurance. The kitchen forgot my peppercorn sauce and when j brought that to my servers attention I had it within a minute. The server was also on top of the drinks, as soon as my drink was almost done I was asked if I wanted another one. The food came out fast and to order as did the drinks.

What a sad experience on Valentines Day, I arrived at 8pm- I was seated promptly, after that it went down hill. Soup came out individually- so much for a family dinner... then waited an hour to receive our dinner, 2 of the 14oz “prime ribs” came out wrong, one of which had seafood mixed into the frizzled onions. When the served was notified he was so sure that we were indeed wrong, he went on to get his manager. His manager was just as useless as a dead horse. He wasn’t even able to apologize for the seafood in the onions, he did however offer to re-make the meal. Upon the arrival of the new meal- it was finally right & my sister was left to eat alone. Lastly we got the bill, and the bill was incorrect- and again the server was so “sure” the bill was correct... it was obvious he was wrong... he went back to the manager and again the manager was too much of a wimp to express his wrong doings... this establishment has been a regular family go too for quite some time, and due to the lack of professionalism and ownership I will not be coming back. For such a reputable Resturant they need better skilled management.

Food was ok but service could have been better. It was not a busy Wednesday night. In the lounge there was only 3 tables occupied.When were arrived there was no hostesses at the enternece and 2 guests were waiting. Once we were seated the server did not know what beer was on tap and when I asked she suggested that I look at the drink menu.The drinks were made fine and came on time. Bread was served with butter but no cutlery old napkins provided till we asked.Meal was fine.In sort, the service should be better.

Decided to try canyon creek the other day and it was amazing the steak was so juicy and cooked perfectly like the way it should be , my server’s name was Megan and oh my god she was amazing. Made me and my partner feel so comfortable and relaxed ,she was super sweet and smiling the whole time. Thank you Megan for the amazing service we will be back again soon :)

Good service for our large group of 14+1 on the way. Emma and her partner were very friendly and helpful. Food came out hot and at a timely manner.

Really disappointed. I got the Cobb salad and was expecting a nice, filling, fresh salad. The lettuce was interesting and was more of a leafy spring mix that was hard to chew and swallow - lots of stems. The chicken tasted like it was microwaved and was not fresh at all. Restaurant needs an update. Waiter and service was great though.

Overpriced bland food.I had ordered the burger with cheese and the bun was soggy despite the burger not having any sauce on it. The meat itself was also tasteless. In addition, our table had ordered the garlic shrimp ravioli. We wanted it as a starter but it turns out they have a main course under the same name and thats what they served us. We ended up having to spend an extra $10 on something we didnt want. The names of dishes on a menu shouldnt be the exact same. Also, some of the ravioli had no filling. Very disappointed with the food. Thankfully the staff is nice but good wait staff cant fix awful food.

Sarah the waitress constantly checked up on us. She explained which steak she would pick and why to help us decide what we would like. We have come here to this location at least 4 times and no one has made as feel this warm.She also went out of the way to ensure the drink that was made wrong was corrected. Hopefully management sees sarahs kind heart and good potentials. Thank you Sarah for making our dinner right today.

Been here at least once a year since its been open. Never once had any issues with their service, some servers were more attentive and had a nicer attitude than others but I always got great service. I always order the same thing there, always the ribs, I know its a strange thing to go to a steakhouse and order their ribs but I honestly cant find anywhere else that does ribs like they do thats just the way I like them. Ive tried Baton Rouge and found their so-called famous ribs to be dry, and Ive tried several of their locations too and they all sucked. My husband always gets the prime rib, is it the best prime rib weve ever tasted? No, but its still pretty good and I love their mashed potatoes and shoe string fries. Also love their freshly baked bread, you know that didnt come from a different table because its a whole loaf and always served warm with lovely honey butter. Overall, love this restaurant.

Nothing interesting here; ambience, food, staff. Had a small gathering at this location, shared the foods also to check on quality and taste as we had variety of foods on their menu at our table. No, nothing interesting. Calamari over fried. Signature Prime rib steak, very low quality and not tasting as an aged prime rib. chicken also didnt get even a medium score.... For quite sometime I was recommending their restaurant on Front St. West because of their Cedar Plank Salmon meal, looks they dont offer it anymore. So, Canyon Creek resturant gonna be out of my sight.

I have been a few times to this establishment. Its hit and miss as to whether you will get great food or not and the same with the service. Today though was spot on perfect. The filet mignon was incredible and for once everything arrived hot. Service was phenomenal. Yet on other occasions I have left with disgust without eating.

A little on the pricey side for essentially basic quality steak house fare. Nothing super fancy but still very delicious. Staff was wonderful!

After passing it countless times, and wanting to visit, a recommendation from a co-worker pushed me over the edge and we came for dinner.We shared a Caesar salad. The bread here is fantastic and the butter has a drizzle of something sweet. It was unique and entirely yummy!I had the 14 oz rib eye, my companion had the 14 oz prime rib. Both were cooked to perfection, according to our requested doneness.Dessert was brownie with ice cream, and apple crumble with ice cream. These I felt were a bit pricey for the portion.The decor is modern and warmly lit.Overall, the server was attentive, friendly, and quick on drink refills.I would definitely come back, but this is a more upscale and spendy kinda place. Check their website and look over the menu. Its a bit intimidating.

Hefty price and questionable portions made this 4.5 stars.But besides that this place is very accommodative, friendly and cooperative staff, delicious foods, plentiful variety and great deals!Also, it was my friends birthday and they easily seated us at a nice table AND brought us complimentary dessert for the birthday boy!

Food would have been good if cooked right. The burger I got was dry and burnt, my girlfriends shrimp pasta was chewy and cold. Spent $60 there and still left hungry. Portions are small. Ended up going to KFC to eat dinner. Most expensive and worst tasting snack you will ever buy. The only saving grace for this place was the waiter. Very friendly service, but even he didnt seem like he enjoyed being there. Close your doors immediately and never open up again

I originally gave this place a 3 star review. I since have changed it to 5 stars. Earlier this week I had the chipotle steak which was cooked to perfection. I hadnt been here in a while. In addition our server that handled a table of 10 was A1 and was very attentive. I am so looking forward to coming back soon. Great job guys.

Service is wonderful and top notch. My husband and I ordered steak medium-well done and they both came out overly well done like charcoal. I would of been better off bbqing my own at home. I understand having "well done" in your sentence may upset your chef but we are paying customers and people have preferences. Just go to The Keg.

Staff was friendly and courteous. My husband had salmon which was dry, and was served with some very small vegetables. I had the roast beef and baked potato. The roast beef was tough and hard to chew and other than the potato, there were no vegetables. I would not recommend the restaurant.

Visited this location for a birthday celebration, food was nothing more than mediocre. I ordered a 14 oz Ribeye, my wife had the 6 oz bacon wrapped fillet mignon. Ribeye was decent but very salty and alot thin in width than I expected. My wife had ordered medium rare, but when the food came out it was well done. Weve let out server know, we had 3 different apologizing to us and let us know that they will prepare another one for us without question. The second plate we received was much better than the first one, almost felt like theyve used a different meat as opposed to the first. Service was great regardless; we even received a brownie on the house when we let the server know.

Great food service and atmosphere. Good value for food, portions are bang on. Great specials and clean environment. I wish successful local chain restaurants would get more involved in their community and help support kids teams sports to help make those who could not otherwise participate. Hard to loose a star for that but community matters.

Went here for my anniversary during the lunch hour. We ordered the mushroom truffletta steak to share and the molten chocolate cake. Both tasted very good. We were seated right away and because we mentioned it was our anniversary we were seated at the round booth. The waiter was attentive. Complimentary bread and butter was very good.

Thank you for a terrific dinner experience! Everything was delicious. For starters, we had the Canyon Dip - and it did not disappoint. For the main course we ordered steak and lobster mash. The steak was juicy and done to perfection! The mash potatoes were layered with bits of lobster meat and was completely decadent! Two thumbs up to Canyon Creek, Scarborough location.

I came here for an evening with my girlfriend. I had a specialty steak and she had the roasted salmon. Were both picky eaters and we enjoy quality ingredients. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth it!
