Huge park, the squirrels and birds are ever so trusting and Ive been able to handfeed both on numerous occasions. There was also a funfair going on AND an art market indoors. People were selling handmade crafts such as tote bags, embroidery badges, ear rings, paintings and even clothes (I bought myself a lovely blue cashmere poncho). It was a wonderful experience and I definitely plan to do it again. My only regret is underestimating the sheer amount of squirrels wanting to be fed and thus bringing too little seeds and nuts.

Lovely park, great for the kids. My son loves the train that takes you round the park.In the little theme park area, I dont like how you have to put so much money on to a card to ride anything, I wish there was an option for you to put a desired amount on instead of almost £20

Ark is very nicely kept, especially loved the flower beds... The Mela organized by Big Johns was quite amazing. Loved the barbecue food stalls, juice stalls, wedding food stall, sugarcane juice stall are worth mentioning. We noticed there was a huge representation from British citizens, muslin community, people from other religious backgrounds... Everyone seemed to be having lots of fun & merriment.The music was also live & DJ tried to get all involved.

Nice relaxing morning.Little tour train takes you round the walking route.Cafe on site good value for money and no rip.Gardens and grounds very well kept.Was a mini fairground on site this seems a rip so pass.A few folks floating around on the paddle lake with peddle swans of various ilk, 2/4 seats/wings etc.All in, a free morning out as park is free to enter and spending anything is optional.Car parking payable on site at something like 2 quid four hours

Lovely, big and refreshing park to take your family or friends out for a picnic. Scenery of the park is lovely. Lots of lovely flowers and greenery. Highly recommended 👌.Only downside is there is limited parking available on site, you are required to pay in order to park. We had to wait around for a bit till a spot became available. It would be nice if there could be a bigger parking spot as the park itself is big so surely will have alot of people visiting.

A beautiful public park, dating back to 1874. Some fascinating features, including a 16th Century guild Hall which was relocated brick by brick to the park in 1911, and sadly doesnt look as if it has been touched since. A shame, as it would probably make an amazing tea rooms cum visitor centre. I visited Cannon Hill Park on a very hot sunny day during the 2022 heat wave and although the water levels in the lakes seemed low the gardens were thriving, and the fields were full of families enjoying the weather. The swan pedalos and various other ongoing activities added to the atmosphere, and the Midlands Art Centre provided more cerebral distractions, as well as an excellent coffee. Well worth visiting, and just over the Road from Edgbaston

Great park which is easy to access for all. There are car parks located around the park and is chargeable. Nice play areas, park is well maintained. The funfair is good for kids. The nature reserve is a MUST. Worth checking out.

Its my local park.I love it. The workers who make.the flower displays are amazing. I just wish people would not leave any litter after picnicking.On 18 April 1873,a local benefactor, Miss Louisa Ann Ryland (1814–89of Barford Hill House, Warwickshire, gave just over 57 acres of meadow land, known as Cannon Hill Fields, to the Corporation and paid for the draining of the site to create a public park.

Lovely, clean park with beautiful gardens, and a range of activities to do (mini golf being oneand few playgrounds for kids of different ages. My kids loved it, and we all enjoyed a picnic and a quick walk around. Next time will plan to spend abit more time for exploring.

Beautiful park to visit. Across the road from Edgbaston cricket ground. Its best to.avoid visiting the park.on match days as parking is hard to find, but the park is very nice and plenty of areas where you can put down a picnic mat and relax in the sun. There are also benches dotted around the park along the foot paths and by the ponds. The park also boasts some lovely flowers beds/gardens where you can take pictures and tennis courts. Also within the grounds is a ice cream shop and also the MAC centre where you can eat and visit other forms of entertainment. Overall the park is an excellent place to visit with the family

Such a lovely park, great for family picnics or a long walk. We had a great time on Eid day, boys played cricket and the girls took lot of pics for the #gram #Instagram a very clean, park. Toilet facilities, boating and a small fun fair & mini golf

A great park to take the kids on a warm day, the Swan boats is alot of fun although I struggled to find what time they open its 11am, theres plenty to do no matter what time youre there

Our first trip here and what a fantastic place.My son learnt to ride his bike here.So bring a picnic, ball, scooter or a bike.Loved watching the train go around the park.Many playgrounds to go on.Ice cream places too.Dont forget the swans (£15 for 30mins for five of us)Rides which you use a special card for (you put money on It firstBecarful on height as my 8year was too tall to for some rides)Lots of beautiful scenery.Car park is small I wont lie you may struggle.We didnt go mini golf but looked good.

The park is very good, beautiful trees, plenty of space, flowers, the courts etc...But, the public toilet is thel worst 🤮🥵Better to use the toilets in MAC building inside the park.

It was fabulous!A perfect day would be spent here.For kids: Put the infants and toddlers in the stroller and take them for a ride amidst the green and beautiful park. For young kids, they could enjoy multiple rides or make use of the playground.For adults: A perfect place for a picnic spot, with the family. Enjoy your lunch beneath the sun and then if you want take a sweet nap. Cafeteria is a plus there.Special thanks to the management and staff there, for keeping it above the par!

Beautiful and well maintained park near the city centre. Parking is usually available for 2.80 pounds for 4 hours. Multiple parking spots around the park.

Excellent park. 200 acres of beautiful greenery with exotic trees and plants! Whether you want to walk, cycle jog or just laze about its ideal for everyone and family friendly. Kids play areas, a train ride around the whole park, tennis courts, bowling lawns, fabulous trees and plants from all over the world, large ponds with ducks and swans. Loads of things to do here!

Large park, lakes and well kept flower beds, tennis, miniature golf etc . Visited MAC art gallery free of charge. Has a cafe and bar.

Wonderful Big open spaces ,benches shade from sun ,fun fare, ice cream van ,trees for climbing had a lovely day . Crazy golf is also available tennis courts so much to do for children all ages

Always a mixed bag visiting Cannon Hill Park. The park itself is gorgeous and so well maintained - the nature is incredible with a good cafe and toilets in the center etc. A lovely day out.However its let down by the people who visit. The main grass area is always covered with people left behind rubbish (there are plenty of bins available so its just disrespect and laziness), theres always people smoking weed, people playing extremely loud music on the speakers, etc.Such a shame as the space is beautiful. Perhaps some park security would be a good idea.

Great park, brilliant for kids and lovely for family walks. A little fair ground for the kids, mini golf, tennis and Swan Lake boating, and a little train for the family, ice cream vans. Theres a little park and an entertainment centre. Lots of colourful and beautiful flowers and plants to view.

Such a beautiful park with so much activities and opportunities. Definently a must go to for excercise or a day out with family. 🙂

Beautiful park . Kids can have a good time. The fun park has limited but good rides for toddlers to teens.The train ride covers the whole park and kids enjoyed it.Lots of green area for playing around. Only downside is the swan boat ride which was closed .

Fantastic clean park, incredibly busy but plenty of room and things to do. Visited on a sunny Saturday.Only down side was finding car had been vandalised on return.

Lovey large well kept park. Home to multiple lakes with ducks, swans etc. Great facilities on site with a garden tea room, 2 playgrounds for the kids, mini golf, tennis courts etc.

Had a great day for a lovely picnic with family. Place is ready to welcome the spring season with great sites of quaking ducks and singing swans. You can spend a whole day in this park to ride your cycles, walk around with your little ones and enjoy the sun.

Great big park with lakes and ducks and great green space, fairy but a bit expensive this one though.No free playground found there but the big green space with tea facility and footpath is just amazing.

My husband and I used to go to this park when we lived nearby. Now that we moved, we went back again to reminisce and to get some fresh air while we walk for 3-4 lapses.The place is very beautiful. We saw last time swans. But when we came back, we didnt. Everything is incredible. There are courts for people who love to train tennis. There are fairs and mini golf as well. There is Mac if you want to stop by for a coffee and bread. If you are a nature lover, the place suits you very well.Good to go out with your family, friends, dogs or just go with your bike. In summer, youll see a lot of different variations of flowers. Its nice to go around, play or just have a picnic.

My visit coincided with a very wet day in winter but the park is very pleasant, wide paths are well used by cyclists, runners and walkers alike. Facilities include cafes, toilets and several car parks. The park is beautifully planted out and boasts lakes full of wildlife.

Nice Park with great scenery and facilities. Lots of wildlife and paths to walk on. The toilet facilties were of a very high standard. There was also the ability to participate in crazy golf, train ride and boating. We really enjoyed our time there. The place is family friendly also.

Nice park with a couple of play parks, a little lake you could do boating. MAC is within the parks. Parking is £2.60 for 4 hours, paid by app is £3.21. Coffee is pretty nice within the MAC. Toilet is clean. There are also a couple of fun fair rides in the park.

Absolutely its a beautiful park 😍. Its a great place to have a fun with your families and friends. Easy access to public transport, parking and not far away from city centre.

Very big park, so many little areas to explore, I didnt come in 10 years, but I am glad I was there today. We ve done the Swan pedalo at £12/30min for up to 4 adults and 1 under 6. There is a fair but we didnt go, and a few playgrounds, lots of grass areas to play or just chill.U can park in holders lane for free as main carpark is not.

Went with my daughter and grandsons.Feeding the geese, that are very friendly indeed. However, I would suggest to bring a bag of bird seeds, as bread is not very good for them.Had a great time on the kids funfair. Liking the idea of a card to put money on instead of having to hand out cash.The grounds are lush and gorgeous blooms.A new waterfall area. Great playgrounds for the kids.The boating area is now on the bigger lake, more to explore. And instead of boats, they are now Swan pedalos.Wheelchair friendly areas, and accessible disabled toilets.I was able to use my electric chair on the grass as well.All round, a great day was had and we will definitely go again.

A massive park! Great for cycling around, long walks or little picnics. Can get very crowded at times, so have to be smart with the time youre visiting.

The park has plenty activities like boats a mini train and a tennis court. But it also has huge fields which you can host your own activities like a game of football. I had a great time playing my own game of badminton there. It perfect for anyone.

The park is massive and clearly taken care of - all the plants are well groomed, the pavement and benches clean. Theres a lot of fun things to do for kids, from a train ride to a cruise in a Swan boat. And they have great ice cream!

Absolutely beautiful park with lots going on! A few memorials / statues if you want a read and plenty of space its absolutely massive! Great for picnics, game of rounders, bike rides etc. Theres a fun fair for young children and its also home to the music recording studios. There are some really talented roller skaters who will love to show you their moves and plenty of play equipment for the children. Lots of music playing of all different types , ice cream vans and they also put little boats out on the pond that you can hire. They are currently digging out some of the ponds but if you can look past that whilst they are working on it its actually a nice place ! Theres also a little wood that you can walk through and you can also gain access to the cricket fields ! I loved it!

Lovely park, big selection of flowers and different types of trees.Nice place to come for exercise or have a picnic with your family.I enjoy coming here in the evening during sunset, looks amazing during golden hour.Go for a walk or bike ride and breath the fresh air, and enjoy the beautiful views.The park has a mini golf place, tennis court, little rides for kids, boats and ice cream van.Plenty of parking although you have to pay.Also has a few big ponds with ducks, geese, pidgeons and other birds.I love to go there to feed the birds and squirrels.
