Cane River Waterfalls - Tourist attraction in Kingston, Jamaica
Cane River Waterfalls in Kingston
Description
Privilege
Wonderful area to relax with the family. Sadly, the road to get up the falls from the main road in Bull Bay is horrible, and a deterrent to most possible visitors.
MoreAwsome chill spot, the falls and the view. Allow for good vibes go early to enjoy he falls
MoreRidiculous entrance fee for poor upkeep
Lovely spot for lovers.
Relaxing 😌
Was a very relaxing experience
very interesting place water is cool and enjoyable thus is a lovely place to go for a swim
MoreHi enjoy myself to the fullest
Cane River Falls is always a nice cool spot to visit either to swim, shill with friends are just to relax under the shades. Its also a great spot for church people and if your into fishing you can do that there either night or day.
MoreNeeds redevelopment!!
Lovely venue enjoy the water
it every things that I was looking for ... all good but you of to try it for yourself
MoreNice area
The steps to go down to the falls is crazy, like a road to hellSo persons with weak knees do not enter
MoreExcellent quiet spot with no crowds.
Cane River Falls was therapeutic for me. Anyone visiting Jamaica should make a stop there.
MoreI love it there.
Nice falls tucked away off the beaten path. Approx. 1 hour from the city.
It was lovely, the roads are challenbut once you get there you forget that. The river has fall and different areas where you can go to enjoy it. There is food and drink there but I did not enjoy the food. You can also carry your own.
MoreIt was an amazing experience
Great hideawsy
I took my family there today and the experience was awesome. My children and niece enjoyed the falls and didnt want to leave. But every good thing must come to an end. However, I have a complaint. My wife and I read the recent comments and persons says the entry fee was $200.Today, a lady approached us inside the vicinity and charge us $500 per adult and $300 per child.Money is not the problem but that entry is too high for what is offered - the condition of the changing area is poor complimented with the extremely bad roads. The only attraction is the falls nothing else.
MoreVery nice place but it needs a spiritual and moral shift to effect peace and well-being in the community.
MoreOne the most breathtaking experiences in Jamaica. Not too many tourist go here, which is the best part.
MoreThe river is awesome, but the journey to get there is sketchy and will probably make you think twice about even going. However, once you get there its worth it.
MoreBeautiful an peaceful
Great hang out spot, get there early and chances you will be alone
Its wonderful the bar full a vibes
There is about 50-80 steps to go down to the falls, the view is nice but coming back up might be a challenge for most persons.
MoreNature at its best: large rocks, majestic trees and beautiful flowing water. If only more areas woth deeper "pools" present.
MoreTiny but awesome. The scenery is breathtaking and the little pool that they made is a perfect depth even for non-swimmers.
MoreIt was during the drought period so less heavy rushing water... but the experience is good once your with friends with a sense of humour.
MoreIts okay as long as you have the right crew to chill with. The view is great, but it cannot handle crowd.
MoreHave been going to this spot for many years. Best to visit during the week when too many people are not there. Many areas to chill along the river
MoreFacilities are okay. There is a bar above the trek to the falls. Many stairs to the end of the fallsBeautiful area for the falls
MoreIntimate, lovely place.
Nice and quiet place to relax and enjoy the river
Was an amazing experience! I could tell based on the community and the river itself that before now, there was a thriving community. I couldnt help but to wonder of the time and people who must have called that place home and now Im intrigued to do some historical digging to see what I can gather.Aside from the unknown apparent history of the the community, the river is rather amazing. It is nicely tucked away and is very attractive yet never over crowded which makes it ideal for a small group trip destination. The cost to enter the property is just JMD$200 for locals and Im uncertain of the foreigners fee. They also have a bar which is where you pay for entry in the event youd want more to drink that what you went with.I recommend taking your own food as there is no option for food available there.Cel reception could be an issue based on your carrier so be prepared for that also.
MoreI really liked this place but it was very small so if its busy its easy for it to feel overcrowded. The power of the falls was crazy, you cant really stand under the main falls but if you venture a little way down there are some lovely chill spots but very hard to climb down to. Wouldnt recommednd if not stable on your feet
MoreThe best place ever it heal my back pain for real the falls is very good
The waterfalls were great and the ambience is nice
Its a nice river falls to explore.
Pools not as large as i expected , has many stairs to reach, no wheel chair access
MoreI went at night so there was not much to see.
Good I would recommend I will definitely be going back and inviting others
Area is clean & spacious. Numerous falls & a spacious pool to swim in. The steps maybe tedious to climb after bathing & basking in natures picturesque setting but its worth every moment.
MoreNoce place to hang out with friends and family
this is the Cane River that BoB Marley sang about ( up Cane River to wash my dread upon a rock I rest my head.
MoreClean and nice. Interesting yet fun place
Need I say more...Its a Beautiful place
