Bueno! La verdad muy bueno lugar. El negroni va muy bien, claramente le ponen mucho amor al trago. Dátiles con panceta es una entrada que no te podés perder.

Our first experience in Montevideo/Uruguay after landing earlier today. Very cute cafe/bar, staff very busy but very friendly and accommodating despite our lack of Spanish skills. Food was great, hope to go back for drinks one of the evenings this week.

Portions can be improved, prices are high for the quantity they give.

Excelente atención. Buen menú. La cocina está al lado de la barra, aún así, no hay olor a comida como sucede en otros bares.

Ambiente aconchegante, com ótima música e bom atendimento. O hambúrguer é delicioso e acompanha muito bem a cerveja IPA suave que possui no cardápio. Recomendo!

This little place feels like it should be in Paris! Cute CAFE with really tasty food and a nice atmosphere. When we first arrived the staff were not that friendly but we made friends throughout the evening. It was a lovely place to stop for food and I can highly recommend the potato tortilla.

Excelentísima atención por parte de su personal/dueños. Los precios son acordes a UY y obviamente muy caro para un argentino (x5). Tiene un menú acotado pero bastante elaborado. Música 11 puntos de 10, muy buena selección. Animismo hemos sido recibidos con una atención por parte de la casa para acompañar un flan de coco tremendo!. Muy reconendado y aprovechen ir al mediodía que no hay espera.

I was strolling around Durazno Road with my friend and found this cosy looking cafe. Staffs are really good and welcoming. We ordered :1. Cafe con leche (4/5)2. Burger Vegetarina con papa ruaticas (pure veg burger(Vegetarian burger with potato wedges(4.5/5)I like this place. Food is good. I have not tried other things. Food quality is really good , but need to increase portion a bit. You might feel hungry after one meal. They have good Beverage options. Please visit, enjoy the food and ambience 👍.

Second restaurante experience in Montevideo and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. Its a small place a short walk from the main road. From afar it looks like a random eatery on a random corner, but man the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is perfect! I ate the incredible home-made chorizo tortilla and the secreto de cerdo, cooked to perfection. No pictures this time..I was focused on eating! 😄 Even the olives you get, before dinner arrives at your table, are special. Never had olives in oil with cumin before. It was definitely a hit for me. Lonely Planet had it right this time! A must-visit in Montevideo!

Convenient location, nice decor, OK food. Horrible, unprofessional "service" even by local standards. Staff pays NO attention to what you say, slow service, refused to bill separately, did not want to hear anything... The owner, instead of being fair and helpful was unacceptably rude and unreasonable. Will never be back. There are a lot of nicer authentic places in the area. What a shame.

Great brunch option for Saturdays and Sundays. Funky decor, very friendly owners and staff, delicious food. Small, so get there early. Opens at 12.

Cozy and atmospheric. Its a tiny bar with a couple of tables outside and a couple more inside. The service is super friendly and fast, and the whole experience is like visiting a friends bar. But what really shines here is the food. Do not be deceive by it simplicity, for the flavor is amazing and well balanced. Try not only the burgers but also the desserts, specially the "flan de coco". It is a must in Montevideo.

Small place, but open earlier than most, though the earlier menu is limited to burgers, we ate and enjoyed tremendously the flavor and quality of the food.The lemonade is served with a slice of ginger and several pomegranate seeds, which added color and beauty, but also ginger helps with digestion and is an anti-inflammatory food, so it was a beautiful and a health booster.My kids ordered their burgers super plain, but the young man who took orders and prepared the burgers was quite pleasant about the few changes we requested.My burger was delicious, juicy and flavorful and with egg and delicious arugula and sweet carmelized onions adding flavor and depth.The evening menu is even more varied and we wished we had discovered this place sooner so we could come back for dinner.Recommend!

Simple and austere in appearance, this makes the discovery of this gem of a tiny little resto-bar in Palermo neighborhood into much more than rewarding experience.The honest food menu is small but comprehensive with gourmet twists that elevate the otherwise traditional courses to unexpected level of unpretentious quality.The original cocktails and drinks add nicely and the service is casual but knowledgeable and very kind. Great for a quiet lunch during the week or for a nice dinner or after office drinks.Place is very small so come early to avoid disappointment.

Después de un par de intentos, pude ir. Tiene pocas mesas y no reserva, así que es difícil encontrar lugar algunas veces. El ambiente está muy bueno, la comida y los tragos también. Los precios de la comida son acordes a la cantidad y calidad, además son un poco más baratos que otros lugares similares. Los tragos sí son un poco caros, sobre todo porque no son muy elaborados. Como punto negativo, te vas con olor a comida en la ropa.

We loved our burgers (one veggie, one bacon-cheeseburgerand drinks! The whiskey sour was unconventional but delicious and the ambiance was cozy and fun!

Best food we have tried so far in Montevideo. The place is small but service is good and prices are fair. We ordered a meat and a vegetarian dishes and both were amazing. Meat was cooked to perfection, fried were delicious and the torta de hongos was the best Ive had. If you like apple cumbre this is the place to have it ;)

Beware: gin is prepared properly here. If you cannot take it then please abstain from going. Lovely and cosy setup in a traditional corner of downtown Montevideo. Must go to.

Candy bar is a place I fell in love with in Montevideo. The Gin Tonics in the evenings, the vibe, the staff, the best place in Palermo hands down. Also good for home made healthy food and BRUNCH! Thank god I found a place that does brunch on sundays (french toast, fruit, scrambled eggs). Check this place out, a true gem
