Guests can pose with life-sized wax models of historical figures & celebrities at this cozy museum.
Great experience
You cant take pictures with the good wax characters they only take pictures..with a camera amd puit in a $$$ package ..
Pro. Museum wax figures were actually awesome, pretty freaky how real they look, the plastic ones (superheroes and othersnot so much, I presume that you can "touch" them so its easier to have a sturdy ones for this.Con. So you pay some pesos to enter this place, obviously youll want to take pictures with the figures, but while you walk through the museum there is always a this person telling you that you cant take a picture of some characters, you have to buy them the pictures. Were in 2022, I dont need your camera, I already paid some money, let me take a photo of Sponge Bob with my 4yo daughter. No, they even threaten me to charge me for this. Update your business models guys.
No one look like themselves
Amazing
Ok
Terrible wax figures, that dont even look like the figures theyre supposed to represent. Thought it was supposed to be a madame toussouds, but obviously not. No ticket person at the front, we just walked in and went through.
Dont waste your time.
Small wax museum. Not really worth 15.00 but its nice and cool inside. The workers follow you around and watch you like hawks so you dont take pics of certain wax figures so they can take your pic and sell it to you. All in all of your bored or have time to kill this is a nice little stop.
Nice 👍 museum
Bonito, bastantes piezas, personal amable, es mejor comprar un paquete para todas las atracciones de la plaza. Los paquetes de fotografías, tienen in precio elevado.
Get away from this place. The employees are rude, and if you want to waste your money this is the place to go to. They have a package which includes other museums, the only three worthy are the Tequila Museum, Mirrors and The Chocolate one, the rest please stay away.
It was fun to see, although staff follows you around because you are not allowed to take your own pictures in most places of the museum. A bit small but its wasn’t all that
Not very good pieces. They will try to sell you pictures in lots of sets of figures.
It was fun and interesting however they dont want people taking thier own pictures and they follow you trying to take pictures for you to buy. Photographer spoke little to mo English which we spoke little Spanish. Would prefer taking our own pictures
So real looking. Great work
Really good 👍
purely there to make cash. dont bother. save ya money
Well there’s about 30 figures if that in total…staff was super rude and rushed us out, it’s probably a 5 minute tour and staff gave us attitude because we retracted back to look again at the ones we already saw since there was only a few and not like as advertised. We were followed like we stole something and it just ruined the whole experience even more! The picture shown below are not even options to explore in the museum, NO HULK, NO BRUCE WILLIS, NO AMY WINEHOUSE Plus sooo many more…. Honestly it’s False advertisement, but if you get the package for 24.99 it’s just included … best part of package was Ripleys believe it or not, tequila tour and Farris wheel… the staff is sooooo RUDE we could’ve just skipped this part and left happy, which I wish I done.
Aweful place. Rip off. Stay away. Read the other reviews as theres no use in wasting any more time on this place
Amazing place
Great place.
average at best. and overpriced
I dont know
Worst experience I have had in Cancun. Heres what sucks. 1st There is a guide constantly watching you so youre never alone. 2nd you have to pay money to take pictures with most of the figures, on top of the entrance fee. 3rd very few models to actually see. Overall COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
If I could leave 0 stars I would and i almost never leave reviews. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. There is like 30 figures in the whole museum and you have to PAY to take pictures with most of them in addition to paying for the entrance fee.
If you go to Cancun, check this place out.
Cool place
They dont wanna to send pics by mail only u need to print
So, the Wax Museum was okay, but if take their offer "5 spots for USD 25", you will be more than satisfied and full of positive memorable impressions. So for that price i visited Wax Museum, The Wheel, Mirror Tunnel, Tequila Museum, Chocolate Museum (the last two with treats & digustations).
This place is ok. It’s small, they charged me $250 MXN which is around $12.50 USD. You have to find a place to park (if you drove therein a paid garage to enter the plaza which is where the museum is. I paid $20 MXN (about $1 USDfor about 1.5hrs.
I do not recommend this place. They follow you from start to finish with a camera for them to take pictures of you for extra cost for each picture. They only allow you to take pictures with one half of the wax figures, and the other half of the wax figures have to be taken by them.
This place is cool for something to do. Its about $10 USD. They have a photographer walk through the exhibit with you to take pictures of the off limit exhibits. I think the ones ropes off you could take your own pictures but the ones without the rope they took the pictures. At the end they show you the pictures you take with them and you have the choice to pay for them or not. Then they walk you to the gift shop to purchase everything. Its a nice small gift shop thats not expensive. They are really nice and helpful. The entire exhibit takes about 20 mins with pictures...... I think we spent more time in the gift shop buying gifts
Good effort, but you can skip right across this attraction.
Good AC inside! 100 creations yet some needed signage so you knew who you were looking at. Very nice staff. About $22 USD per person. There are photo opportunities there either through them or you can take yourself. Some items are copyrighted so you could only take pics where the red carpet areas were located.
Wax figures were nice but for the cost we expected to see more...(think Madame Tussauds). Photo ops were great as well!
Do not purchase any photos from them. They are horrible. They are not focused properly and do not turn out even when you zoom in. A waste of 260$ pesos. Also they dont print them for you only digital copies. Fn waste of time and money. Just take your phone and take the photos. Also the camera person follows you around hounding to take pictures to make more money off you. La busura pura.
Fun. As wax museums go.
Really liked the museum!Didn’t like how we had a worker following us around the exhibits. My boyfriend I have been to many other wax museums and haven’t experienced this behavior. Kinda killed the mood.
Horrible experience, it is a complete rip-off, the wax figures are fine but you cannot take pics because they will want to charge you 10 dollars for a picture, you aren’t completely free to enjoy the place because there someone “guiding” you during the time you are inside of the museum, don’t go here, trust me its a waste of money.
Expensive entrance in a tour that Will last less than 15 minutes. The photos inside are PAID. The dolls arent thaaat well made.
Impressive, a little uncomfortable but have a good time in this museum.
Yo cant take photos with all the artist in the museum they sell you a extra photo shoot with most famous artist is not worth it
A very nice place to visit with very friendly people.
Absolutely waste of money and rip off the finest. Felt stressed by the photographer, because you can not make yourself many pictures yourself. Just a cheap or wrong copy of Madame Tussauds !! So Swiss tourists absolutely the cruel excursion "Waste of time I have" O Points "or better said no stars.
Dont waste your money. They charge you money to take pictures with the good statues and they leave the other statues for you to take pictures with. It was terrible. Way too over priced the workers have no respect at all. If I could give 0 stars as my review I would.NEVER EVER GO HERE EVER IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY.
Interesting place to see, the sculptures are amazing so real.
A fun diversion from all the regular touristy stuff and shopping. Loved taking pictures with my freinds
It was fun visiting this museum, we can take photos with the wax figures.
