Canal Street Arcade and Deli in Miamisburg

In town for a wedding and stopped in for a drink. Didnt eat but service was great at the bar and was such a fun atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I came here to play pinball, and decided to have lunch while we were there. I had the best sandwich of my life! The arcade machines are free to play, but the pinball machine costs quarters. Some machines were a buck, some 75, and 2 or 3 were 50 cents. There is an atm and a coin machine in the building. I loved the Mrs. Pacman in the ladies room. I will definitely be going back!

Pinball is my jam! We had a great time and a really good lunch as well!

Small place, but has character.

Canal is awesome for many reasons like:1. They have great sandwiches! Want a breakfast sandwich anytime? They have it! You can’t go wrong with their food.2. The pinball machines are well maintained and clean! Best in town. No doubt.3. Fantastic staff!The atmosphere is laid back and has feee arcade games as well. So get on down there. It’s a good time.

Great place to hang out with friends especially when weather is nice to sit outside.Inside, has plenty of free video games for grandkids to play up till 4 PM

This place was great. Craft beer, fun pinball games. This was an absolutely surprise highlight of our visit to the Dayton area. Deli looks fantastic too!

As always, good sandwiches and today was especially very good. The Champ is always my go to. Other like the Rueben. All their sandwiches are very good.

I’ve been eating here 2-3 times a week for years now. Love the staff and best sandwiches in town. I love grabbing my lunch and playing some games while I wait. I come here for beers in evenings often too. Tons of pinball and can play for hours. But back to the food… best Reuben I’ve ever had, buffalo chicken has a great kick, Italian is amazing, southpaw is another staple, chicken salad on the raisin bread is great when it’s super hot outside. Honestly can’t love this place more. Go here if you want the best grilled sandwich.

So I just moved back to Dayton and I used to remember a deli sandwich restaurant that was on 5th street. My friend told me about this restaurant since the 5street deli wasnt around anymore. Well I came into this restaurant on Sunday evening and it wasnt too busy but not too dead either. When I got my food I was amazed on how polite the Staff was and how good the food was this place is wonderful I give it a perfect 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 and its really cool that they have all the pinball machines in there also I loved the Italian sandwich. Get the large its well worth it. 😄😁 Ill definitely comeback for more 😊🤓😎

You cannot go wrong with this place! I have been for lunch, dinner, drinks and pinball. Yummy food, great selection of food and drink, even some cool craft beers to go. Employees are very accommodating and kind also.

One of my favorite places to grab a drink downtown. They have a solid selection of beers and the sandwiches are top notch. The arcade games are a fun bonus and the service is always fantastic!

Cool little place to hang out and grab a bite to eat and play some video games and the sandwiches are delicious its a nice place to go without having to spend a lot of money.

Went to the bar and was told to leave by one of the workers for no reason. The big that no one can tell if it’s a man or woman. Anyways, I ended up staying with the 10 plus people I came with and we had a great time ignoring the one worker. You guys should really work on welcoming people into your bar, maybe then I would’ve stayed longer with all the people I was with

Food always fresh, games , bar, nice atmosphere, easy to work with employees. I go there often for lunch. Highly recommend if you want to try something different or new. Their BLT and Mario pizzas are amazing.

This place was awesome for lunch! Sandwiches are great and Large. Service was friendly and all the non-pinball arcade games are free play so you can play while you wait for your sandwich. Ill definitely hit it up next time Im in Dayton.

Dude, this place is super cool! LOTS of vintage pinball machines. Some 90s-era arcade games, mostly free to play. Pinball costs quarters. I had them make me a cold Reuben, which i know is weird, but its hot in the summer! All kinds of one-off sodas (Sioux City Sarsaparilla!). Im not in Dayton often, but when i return, I WILL be back here.

Friendly bartenders! Great sandwiches! Looks like a great spot for "Date Nights"! Conveniently located near downtown entertainment centers. Lots of Video and even Pin Ball machines on-site! Patio seating is available as well!

The bartender is very sweet and also skilled, there are arcade games to play, plus the food here is way better than it even needs to be. This is my favorite spot if Im being honest.

Always delicious, mostly friendly staff, the food is great.My only critique would be the lack of coverage on the patio seating, summer in pavement city is miserable without shade.Thanks for always being a fun atmosphere with cold drinks and delicious food!

I have brought people from, Chicago , LA, Sacramento, St. Louis, Dayton, Germany and many other places. All said best sandwich of their lifetime. Go for the champ or the southpaw. This place never does you wrong.

My friends and I started our night here to celebrate my birthday & the bartender was so mean… made us all very uncomfortable. She was rolling her eyes/rushing us while we were trying to figure out what we wanted to drink… she even told us “this isn’t a collage bar” when we asked for a common drink the bar didn’t have to offer… she was more concerned with smoking and drinking a glass of wine out back with her friends then doing her job. Don’t let the pictures deceive you.. the staff is rude and doesn’t like “outsiders”. We wanted to check this bar out because we have never been…. A better gaming bar in Dayton is DK Effect. Don’t waste your time at Canal. 5/28/22

Delicious sandwich! We ordered online and paid when we picked up the food. Very atmospheric deli/bar, full of pinball machines and arcade games, plus an outdoor seating area.

Canal Street Arcade and Deli is one of the coolest places to grab a bite to eat and a drink in the area. There are plenty of pinball and arcade games to play, but the sandwiches are what really stand out. They have the best sandwiches in town! The Super is fantastic!The staff is awesome too! They provide outstanding service and are all very friendly. Located close to the citys bike trails this place is an awesome stop to hydrate after a ride!

Kind of a cool place! Old school video games, bar and deli. Not a ton of room for seating and eating, would be a nice evening and night spot. I have had a few of the sandwiches which are always good. The service is fast and friendly and they do have parking out front.

One of my favorite spots in downtown Dayton. Chill atmosphere, large selection of free games to play while you wait (as in like 200 on a projection screen and individual machines like PAC-Manand last but not least great sandwiches including my favorite, the Reuben. Nice staff as well, highly recommend for lunch or a late night snack with some friends.

Pastrami is wonderful. I loved this place. Cant wait to bring the kids for a lunch date soon.

Delicious sandwiches and drinks in a beautiful historic building. I cant get enough of the rueben : Great patio area for social distancing! On the patio you can enjoy alcoholic drinks and food. They have tons of arcade games packed inside but they are currently not up for use. The staff are always friendly and its within walking distance of Riverscape and the baseball field.

Stopped here early on a Sunday and had a great time. The sandwich was very good and the pinball machines were in great shape. Wish I could say the same about the arcade games. Donkey kong had a very dim monitor.

Great cheesesteak. Fun to play video games from the past. Video games were free. Pinball was very inexpensive. We sat at the end of a table with four other couples that asked us to join them. Enjoyable evening.

Definitely my favorite spot in downtown Dayton. Diverse crowd and great food. Try their sandwiches and soup of the day.All of the arcade games are free besides pinball. They play cool shows on their VHS player. Bartenders and staff are awesome.

Happened across this gem while visiting family for Christmas. All of the arcade games are free to play (you have to pay to play pinball). They have a cozy little living room type space on a platform which are the best seats in the house. The drinks are reasonably priced, and while we didnt eat there, Ive no doubt the food is great. Fantastic music selection on a grand old jukebox. The place is totally retro and chill. Fabulous place to relax and kick one back.

Canal Street aracaris and Deli is one of my favorite spots to post up at for a few drinks and food. Their menu is insanely delicious. I suggest the southpaw if you are looking for a good sandwich.Beers on tap and in cans/bottles are always plentiful to choose from. And did I mention free arcade games? The only ones that cost money are the pinball games. They also have a fantastic patio and walking distance to the dragons stadium as well.

Great beer selection. Awesome deli. Movie playing and games. What more can you ask for? A bar that most would people would want to vision. Most games are free play. Really, its a good place to visit and grab a beer and bite to eat -- a must stop while visiting for work travel. At a minimum, a place to start and/or finish an evening downtown. Found this place due to fact its the one of few places opened on a Monday. Cheers for being open on a Monday -- must be a Midwest thing.

First time here! So fun and cool atmosphere. We were here early in the day for lunch with our teens and friends who have a baby. Very family friendly during the day hours. Great food! Lots of selections including vegetarian options! We will be back!"

I had the best Italian sandwich Ive ever had in my life here today! Amazing. They also have an extensive selection of beer on tap, so bring your growler. The games are a plus as well. They are always working too witch is nice. Great little spot.

Head down here if you have an hour or two to kill. There are copious amounts of delicious beer on tap, incredible sandwiches made with Boars Head ingredients, tons of free adhes/or cheap arcade games, a laid back vibe, a killer jukebox selection, and the staff are wonderful!I know that some people are still salty and upset that this isnt Canal Street Tavern anymore, but the spirit of CST lives on in other venues throughout Dayton. Enjoy this place!Also, know that the wait time for sandwiches can be a little on the longer side, but trust me - they are worth it.

This place is great! Never disappointing! I go there more for the bar and games than the deli but the deli is great too. Bar has a great selection and you can stay hydrated while you have an old school arcade game marathon! Arcade games are free but I think pinball is like 50 cents a game. Love it!

Another hot spot outside of the Oregon District worth visiting. Free arcade, delicious sandwiches and a variety of crafty brews! Beautifully decorated and simple; makes you feel like your moms basement got an upgrade 😉. Kids are welcome during certain daytime hours which makes this an all around chill spot for everyone!
