Canada Place in Amaigbo
Description
Privilege
How not to love this area? Not among the first place for a quick visit to London but a must to see and enjoy the business vibe (not to go on Sunday)
MoreBeautiful place and really nice views Canary Wharf. It is placed the second tallest structure in in London. One Canada Square used to be the first one at the moment of open in 1991, but after the Shard open, become the second. The place is full with commercial center and on need, you can book a room for your business meetings or you can apply for a membership.
MoreRude, unfriendly, and beyond inconsiderate reception girl with curly long brown hair. Such a shame she had a pretty face but no smile, interrogated us and my mom’s spelling of her name for one doctors appointment. Lack IQ intelligent understanding of Abbreviations of legal names of driving license and passports. She didn’t even care to show me where disabled handicapped walker guest can enter the building lift 🛗 when she gave us our passes.A smile is free and helping the handicapped or people with disabilities is NOT forthcoming in this awful building management’s list of things. They discriminate against people with disabilities is proven fact.26/10/22- 15:20We have Encountered one rude ground floor mall security Caucasian male in dark blue suit as well at our second visit here inside this building today. He told us we can’t eat our tiny cakes here but can have tea, coffees, or drinks. We weren’t having a picnic. Then he asked where we got our food and tea/coffee from? I said right around the corner..only few metres away. He then said you can eat there but not here in such a stern and racist unfriendly faced manner. We are from southeast Asian Americans.Honestly at the end of the day, no sick person seeking posh private health care here in this building needs to be interrogated or treated like people on benefits, rough sleepers, or even like peasants.Canary Wharf Building Management needs to re-train ALL of these employees is my suggestions. By the way, I’m from New York City, born in the 🇺🇸 US and have travelled the world, resided in London for 6+ years, then lived in Hong Kong, Hamburg, and Bangkok so this rubbish idiotic rude behaviour is just UNACCEPTABLE.A smile is free and your lobby security staff is rude to us, and quite disrespectful of one disabled woman and my pensioner mother. Your attitude is horrendous. We would rather travel to Harley Street medical clinics for proper treatment as patients. Why spend the posh price when the reception staff and building security guards are awfully rude and borderline racists. End of.
MoreHigh end shopping and cafesQuite busyGood vibe
Although the building is getting older, it’s still one of the best places to work in CW
MoreSeems like mini Dubai - surrounded by skyscrapers in London.
A good place to rest, even better in the summer when the big screen is up. Although strange they don’t show football etc on the big screen only tennis.
MoreA different London experience. Lovely, bright, lots of shops. Lots of nearby public transport from the underground to DLR & Uber boats.
MoreThe feeling of being surrounded by skyscrapers is definitely something that most of us like. I mean in my opinion. So when you go visit London you best visit one Canada square. You have everything that you can imagine. A part from small shops, you can find banks, restaurants, hotels and leisure.Highly recommend
MorePeople confuse this with the shopping centre. One CS is an office building with a couple of restaurants. The shopping is underneath the building. Worth nothing though, the lobby of One Canada Square frequently have art exhibitions and its worthwhile taking 5 minutes to enjoy some of the pieces on exhibition. They are open to the public and accessible by just scaling the stairs from the shopping centre floor.
MoreLovely, clean, bright, lots of good shops & maps to help you navigate the underground & overground shopping Malls. Lots of nearby public transport from the underground to DLR & Uber boats. A different London experience, enjoy
MoreLooks nice, seems cold and heartless inside
Very, very impressive. The whole of Canary Wharf is a must see.
Good place for working and hanging out
Nice building with good infrastructure
Very corporate dated interior but very impressive
One of Central Londons newest shopping center gets even better thanks to the investment coming with the completion of the Elizabeth Line. Anyone can travel from West to East or visa versa in minutes making easy access to Heathrow and even Gatwick and Stansted due to easy connections. All the big multiples are here in the world of retail and an impressive array of eating options. There are even tiny booths where street food can be had. The Afro-Caribbean, Rudis is but one example. Whether you are here for luxury shopping, banking, fine dining of just people watching, this place is sure to satisfy.
MoreI completed some work in the ground floor seating area in the Friday late evening - was great.
MoreVery clean business district. The views of the water and scenery from office windows are breath taking. Would be a dream to have an office here.
MoreColourful and calming walk way and ideal for taking social media photos or videos in. The building is modern and surrounded with little hidden pockets of beautiful green areas for you to relax in during your lunch or coffee breaks.
MoreThis is my company in Dubai UAE we have business and shares in Dubai if anyone interested let me know,Thanks
MoreIt is a very enthralling place as it is very relaxing and meditative in the way that it has been designed. The One Canada Square has also an Adams Plaza Bridge which has been redesigned by Camille Walala.
MoreBrighton nice place and amazing people around.
Very dynamic, friendly, professional, motherly shopping, business area with Canary wharf Jubilee train & DLR station and a lot of accessible budget eateries to cater to international people.Welcomes all the diverse people families and children of the world peacefully ❤️💐🤗🙏👍💖
MoreThe canary wharf zone is very modern and lively. Beautiful buildings, shopping centers and restaurants are amazing. Some entertainment equipments are also provided for public such as mini golf and ping pong.
MoreOpen House Weekend tour visit to One Canada Square Canary Wharf. Very impressive and unique London skyline views from the 39th foor of Canary Wharf looking down the River Thames towards the west into central London. Birds-eye views of lots of the key landmark buildings - The Shard, BT Tower, The Gherkin, The Leadenhall Building, The Walkie-talkie, Tower 42 etc....
MoreBeautiful place, amazing side seeing. U can just sit & chill without spending a single penny
MoreI spent some time in level 38 and I can definitely say it is one of the most iconic views of London!
MoreClean tidy and spacious. Lots of places to eat and green spaces to sit
Came here for winter lights festival with friends. Good place for tourist who want spend their time in the winter night. The festival will be opened every winter season, November to January. The are various light and art displayed around Canary Wharf area. And last, one Canada Square is one of the tallest building in the UK
MoreAmazing views from the 49th floor, if youre an employee!
Arguably the best view of London from up here.
Nice square to seat and have a drink. Pretty nice decoration in winter time.Neon tree!!!
MoreVery interesting and agitated area. A lot of business/office personnel around the area. There is a mall with a good variety of commercial options and food. The scenario of the park and the roof garden are amazing. In my opinion, this is a good spot to enjoy the chaos and the peace mixed out over here.
MoreReally beautiful location see the pictures I added. Post partial lockdown. Limehouse and surrounding area near Canary Wharf..
MoreLots of variety of both food and drink.Worth venturing above ground occasionally, especially to visit Davys Wine Bar
MoreA very different look in London where you can see the new modern designed buildings in London. Very nice big indoor shopping mall in the area where you can find good famous brands and good restaurants and coffee shops. Very easy to reach the area buy the underground.
MoreArrive in plenty of time to get up to where youre going.spectscular views from the top floor, even on a dull day.
MoreVery classy location in London with great shopping and food venues nearby. Well connected and very clean and maintained. Fantastic views!
MoreIconic 20th Century London building, with modern open office spaces and meeting places on many floors. Easy access from underground, and plaza of shops nearby. I cant give this 5 stars due to the architect skimping on the elevators; you have to go up to floor 28, then change elevators to get down to floor 24. Still, pleasant and generous spaces available. Ideal for a "premium" feel meeting, especially with the great views over the London skyline.
MoreGreat view has a great time at Level39 showcasing the healthier tasty muesli natural muesli snack #littleheartsmuesli littleheartsmuesli.co.uk
MoreA staggering skyscraper that can be seen from so many other locations in London. Standing tall alongside other buildings in the area, it is wonderful to see up close. Nearby to other beautiful garden spots and spaces, it is delightful to walk around the general area and take in the many sights to see.In this locality, there are shops and many choices of places to eat and you are close by the water which makes it all the more enjoyable. It is always a pleasure coming down to this area which I always find to be clean and welcoming.
MoreWorth visiting if you like a mix of tall glass skyscrapers and urban parks.
This skyscraper in Canary Wharf is a fine example of unimaginative modernist architecture. It looks like a giant glass obelisk. Though its primarily used for offices, there are some retail units on the lower ground floor, otherwise itd have felt like a totally wasted trip.
MoreGreat Place to work. London Financial Center
This place was fantastic. I was invited by a friend to the in-house canteen. Or so he called it! It was nothing but a simple, yet excellent restaurant. The dishes are simple ( I had bangers and mash but they also do a fish of the day etcand perhaps like those you might expect at a decent pub but the food is of an excellent standard. The thing that really takes the breath away is a stunning view of the city from the 35th floor canteen.
MoreAwesome and beautiful busy business district in East London.
Changed so much over the years.. now its buzzing even over the weekends during the summers. Love working in CW
MoreMy favourite spot in Canary Wharf. The beautiful water fountain and seating area on the centre is a nice place and convenient for meeting up with people.
MoreImpressive precinct, aging well. Good shopping centre and transport connections.
