Campona in Budapest IX. kerület

Nothing extra. An average suburban shopping mall. It has most everything that a downtown mall would have however it’s not as crowded. Out of town or foreign visitors (especially with young childrenwill find the Tropicarium interesting and entertaining and fun. The food court is quite good as well and again not as crowded as others (depending on the time of day and the season of course).

This is a nice shopping mall. A lot of stores are closed though.

The stores are good but the food is terible and the peiple in restaurants are really rude

Its a good place to make some shoppings. If you go there than you must visit the Tropicarium.

My son and husband enjoyed the Tropicarium and I enjoyed shopping. We went to four malls in Budapest and this one was the best.

Nice shopping mall, offers everything needed. Good restaurants and caffees. Tropicarium is located here. Located bit further from city centre.

Old but good mall, should be more pub transport from there and to there. Not all people has cars:).

The renovations are nice, but inconvenient at the moment. The food court is much nicer than it was and has a few good options. There is a decent selection of stores and fun things to do with the family. Be careful around the construction though. My son and I watched water start pouring out of the ceiling just a few meters in front of us. We would have been soaked if wed been a little earlier!

1 star because the lady on the reception didn’t let me use the cart for my daughter because I’m a foreigner. I ran to my Hungarian husband ranting bout this woman. He came to rescue me and talked to the woman and not even 3 mins she gave him the cart. Very very racist! Hungarians avoid you if they don’t speak English!!

Good shopping center has pretty much all the shops you would need from eye wear to clothes. Good little food court on the second floor and a cinema as well. With good parking facilities

Campona feels old and more like a warehouse.Only good thing is tropicarium. Not big but its ok.

Part of the Mall is under re-furbish so it need so.Easy to park with a car very close to M0 motorway.The food area is huge and there are a good selections of fast food restaurants.I ordered a portion of chips KFC for my kids.The cashier said that is usally 390HUF but cos you are having only that I need to charge 690HUF..... ????What a sort of menthality is that???Of course I paid for it for my kids....

This Mall has everything one might need.As a newcomer student, staying just cross the street, all my needs including: grocery shopping, print and photocopy, barber shop, exchange office and food was totally taken care of. Its a really good place and staff are really friendly and helpful

One of the big malls in Budapest, a bit far from the center, not very busy (all days). Large variety of shops, with cheaper prices than other shopping centers. Recommended.

Very nice centre, a lot of shops and activities for all ages. Great car parking and easy access to the service.

Staff could have been more helpful and speak better English, food took a while, although tasty and well presented. Menu could have more variety as well as snacks.

Best one mall of Budapest ! You must visit.

A big shopping Mall with a lot of different shops, excellent coffee, ice cream, Tropicarium is part of it. A lot of places for children And a big parking space.

I really enjoyed my time there, they present a whole lot of different animals life, and they provide all the animals with their real natural life such as rain، thunder and lightning. Its interesting for kids to go there too. Highly recommended

Very big, not crowded at all. Tropicarium is interesting especially for children. But animals are suffering and you can see it. Other shops are big and full of products and goods. The parking area is large enough. Wating for reconstruction and reinovation. A bit far from city.

It is a good shopping mall in South Buda. Good stores, plus Tesco and cinema.

Good mall and it is a big crowed on weekend and I have opportunity to join anniversary of mall

It is such big shopping and entertainment complex. It has famous fish aquarium, which is very busy on weekends. It has all the major brand outlets for shopping. This shopping complex is little outside main city. So, all the stores are spacious with more products and better shopping experience. My favorite area is food court inside the mall. It has so many variety of food outlets. Chinese,Thai,Hungarian or American you name it and you will find it there. If you are movie buff, you have movie theater on 2nd floor. If you go there with family, one day will not be enough for you to explore everything. Most interesting of all, I used public restroom for free which is very unlikely in Budapest.

Nice place, clean and tidy. Staff is great. The mall is cool, clean building and architecture, plenty of toiletes. Many great shops, good parking opportunity. The train and mass transit is pretty close too.

Very nice place. Big market inside but if you dont know Hungarian you will buy on a hint. Several shops with nice wardrobe and good prices. Tropicarium is part of the centre, good for children

Very nice weekend activity for families! Lots of cute animals, can even touch some of them.

A typical mall with almost all the regular stores youd find in other malls.The Tesco is huge and is one of the highlights of the mall. The Cinema City is good. The mall serves the people living far from the city so its not worth going there if you already live in the city center.

We visited here to go to the Tropicarium, I must admit when we arrived we did wonder if we had definitely come to visit an aquarium or a pet shop as it seemed an unlikely place to have such and attraction inside a shopping centre!We went in and out from the aquarium which was brilliant!No trouble parking, an easy visit.

Great day in tropicarium budapest.children were happy,there are fine exposition of tropical animals like turtles,aligators,birds and fish in tanks like sharks and mantas and tropical tank with nemo fish :-description of exposition was in hungarian,some in english and some in german. we were not shopping,so this is not review of shopping center. In tropicarium you can pay by credit card but you have to have forint for deposit for dressing room.toilet were not very clean.friday is ideal for visit,not so many people like on saturday.parking has sufficient capacity,you can park in front of center or in parkhouse,it was for free.i recommend the visit,cause there is nothing alike the oceanarium in slovakia.

There are two very fun things here, besides shops: the Tropicarium and the Palace of Wonders. They are both great places to visit with kids, but adults can enjoy them as well ;)Its fun to shop here too, there is a good variety of shops and lots of things for the kids to keep them busy.

Wide variety of shops. Air conditioning helps cooling down during hot summers. Plenty of free parking. Good places for kids. Variety of places to eat or just have a coffee and cake. Live entertainment on some weekends. Interactive science museum, Tropicarium and adventure park for little ones keeping them busy for hours.

Perfect place for family. The entry is cheap. There is a free parking places in front shopping center Campona.

Nice place to spend an hour or two with the kids. On Thursday afternoons there is a shark feeding
