Camping Warnsborn in Arnhem

In the past we have stayed in Arnhem with a very dear friend who lives just 25 minutes walk away. These days she is perhaps a little too old and frail to host us so we have found our way here from the Scottish Highlands in our campervan.This campsite is, quite simply, brilliant!The reception manages to be both efficient and friendly.There is a handy shop for postcards, jam, drinks and other necessities that, from time to time, we all forget to bring.You can place a bakery order for next morning delivery.Restaurant Trix a couple of hundred metres away is well worth a visit.Camping Warnsborn is spotless. (It is cleaned four times a day).It has every amenity you could ever hope for.Everything works.It is well laid out and signposted.And, very importantly, it is peaceful.It is a perfect base for visiting a lovely part of a wonderful country.Thank you, from Nick and Hilary.

Excellent site , great facilities . Really helpful and cheery staff . lovely clean toilets and showers and a well stocked small shop on site , a room with free wifi and power if needed . In middle of the woods with trails through to go for a quiet wander . And only 4 kms from Arnhem center . Much recommended and will stay again en-route between Germany and Uk .. A quite lovely small family camp site. If you need a few days of rest before moving on this the place,, so many points of interest to the airborne history fans.... the staff do everything to help

Auf meiner Bikepacking Tour habe ich hier eine Nacht geschlafen. Der Platz ist top gepflegt, man wird sehr freundlich empfangen und Abends hat man hier seine Ruhe.Die Sanitären Anlagen sind stets sauber und können bedenkenlos genutzt werden. Für das Duschen benötigt man Duschmarken, was aber völlig ok ist. Der Weg zu den Toiletten ist Abends zwar beleuchtet, aber nehmt lieber noch ne Kopflampe o.Ä. mit. Trinkwasser gibt es auch verteilt über den ganzen Platz.Kann den Campingplatz wärmstens empfehlen!

Netter, gepflegter und überschaubarer Platz direkt am Wald. Wir haben für eine Übernachtung dort gestanden. Der Zoo und Park Sonsbeek sind mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Sanitäranlagen gepflegt und sauber. Zum Duschen werden Marken benötigt. Wlan ist für 15 Minuten kostenlos und kann gegen Bezahlung gebucht werden. Brötchen müssen vorbestellt werden. Empfehlenswert ist auch die nahe gelegene Pizzeria Eatataliano welche in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen ist.

Ein sehr schöner Campingplatz im Wald. Die Betreiber sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit, alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Toiletten sind in der kalten Jahreszeit ein Erlebnis, allerdings hat hier auch gerade das Charme.In 200m Entfernung ist die nächste Bushaltestelle, wer viel mit dem Bus machen möchte löst am besten ein Tagesticket des Verkehrsverbundes. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Gras was hier en daar wat modderig en afwezig, uitkijken hoe je je kampeermiddel neerzet.

Really great camping experience with camping Warnsborn. Hosts are super friendly. Very well maintained and clean area, pitches are good. Plenty options for kids to play.

An absolutely fantastic site. My partner and I have been camping for years and this time we visited this site on our motorcycles. The staff and owners are absolutely brilliant, very friendly and accommodating.The site is in a brilliant location, if you want to go out into the forests, into the city or reach historic sites.The facilities are every thing you could want. Extremely clean showers and toilets, a shop with food, coffee, beer and more. Plus tons of family oriented games and a play park. That being said, by 10pm it was silent!We will definitely be back, and throughly enjoyed talking to the owner about our days.10/10 can not recommend enough!

The campsite was well kept, surrounded by trees with wood walks close by. The facilities was spotless and the staff cant do enough to help you. And dream camp site

Weve been coming to Warnsborn at least once a year for at least 10 years - and every time its a great experience.The staff is wonderful and friendly, the sanitary facilities are clean, and the campsite is kept well.In the middle of nature - and only 10 minutes from the centre of Arnhem.Highly recommended.

We have camped here a few different times while on bicycle tours. It is clean and has everything that you need and very helpful people.

Lovely wooded place in woods near quiet residential area not too far off A12. Four stars for location, customer service, cleanliness and kid friendliness. Recently renovated amenities block very clean. Cater well for kids (simple things kids enjoy not fancyand staff really friendly and helpful.

Very nice and quiet basic campsite, lovely staff, in a leafy setting. Wildlife around is quite tame and so very visible.

Camping Warnsborn caters for all camping types, we have been camping for 50 years and we have not found a site to better it, if you are in Holland look them up, you wont be disappointed!!!

Very nice, small campsite. Everything you need available: shop, small fire, playgrounds for kids. Very clean showers, toilets, dish washing area,... Very nice owners. Very affordable. Will come again. Please continue like this.

Lovely clean site with excellent amenities

A very warm welcome and helpful information was given to us by Felix and Margo on our arrival. The site is lovely with lots of interesting little touches. Clean and well cared for.

Excellent campsite. Very clean and neat facilities. We stayed in a trekker hut. Which had good facilities. Camping Warnsborn is well cited for the battlefields. You can cycle to the Airborne Cemetery in less than 10 minutes.

A lovely peaceful site. Near bus route on outskirts of town. Bike hire if required. We would certainly go back. Clean, tidy and well maintained.

Everything you could need. As a touring cyclist you want a great hot shower, secure place for your bike, covered kitchen/cooking area and a place to relax and recharge of an evening. This campsite provided all of these in a great location with helpful staff and a useful onsite shop, where we replenished our cooking gas. A great campsite, would highly recommend and if were passing through again we will definitely stay here.

Lovely pretty and peaceful campsite

I have visited hundreds of campsites in my life, but this one is my number 1. Located in the middle of beautiful nature. The campsite has various pitches including a very nice field for small tents. Just the basic things, but all is 100% ok. And for a great price. Sanitary is very clean and well maintained. And like every campsite should do, toilet paper is supplied :-Located very near to Arnhem city and national park De Hoge Veluwe. Please visit this campsite if youre around, you wont regret.

Absolutely great camp, clean bathroom, small but very nice kitchen and perfect place for family with kids (playground). There is also small shop and managers are so nice people. I can only recommend, good price.

Great facilities, spotlessly clean and tidy. Three separate play areas for kids, separate washroom for families. Only downside is with a big tent you have to pay for electrical hook up even if not wanted. Still, great value and great location with several attractions very close by

Small site but well managed and with good, clean facilities. Convenient for cycling to the hoge-veleuwe park and to Arnhem. You can also catch a bus from close by. And theres a very nice restaurant in walking distance. The people who run the site were very helpful

The campsite is beautiful and near the city. The showers and restrooms are clean and well kept. Showers are operated by tokens.

Ive been coming here for the last 14 years and I love it. Lovely welcome from Felixstowe and Margo, they make us feel like part of their family. Beautifully clean and well maintained campsite.

Been here twice now and it just keeps getting better. The level of quality and care from Felix and his wife is amazing. They have a few hours off during the day so either book on advance to check the website, otherwise youll be sat outside!

Didnt allowed me to stay while it was rainingbecause Im too young(19yearsand send me to another camping.I can not recommend it.
