Campbell Street Market - Market in Kulim, Malaysia
Currently the market under major restructuring and this portion was closed and the vendors had moved to the main building to continue with their business.
Do not come near at night. There are rats crawling all over this place. Ghastly and disgusting!
😍
Very convention as Parking lots are available at the newly builded building nearby.
Good choices!
Lots of local snacks such as roasted chestnuts, shredded nutmeg, glazed fruits, kropok, Asian biscuits, etc.
Very good and fast service
Love the pre war architecture

Goat meat over here are most fresh... Over Georgetown area.... That the only reason I came here
Good place for vege, meat n dim sum.
Nice wet market for fruits and vegetables
Just off Penang Road a busy local food market.
This is an old small wet market along Lebuh Campbell. The market building seems ancient and I almost missed seeing it while walking down the street. You can get some seafood and vegetables here. Guess I was here a bit late in the morning and as such, most of the stalls had already closed.
Old historical market...fish mongers friendly n reasonable priced..breakfast good food
A morning market that offered varieties of delicious street foods. You can get your groceries, seafood, vegetables, cheap clothing here. Usually crowded during weekends and public holidays.
Campbell Street Market, within George Towns UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the two markets in the city centre, the other being Chowrasta Market. Built in the 1900s, the Victorian-style market is located at the junction between Campbell Street and Carnavon Street.
Old style market. Fresh n cheap
Busy exciting place to visit early am weekends
Good place to find street food in the morning.
Very old market in the heart of Georgetown city but still continue to survive despite modernization competition from Hypermarkets and digital online business.
Foods and street art so we always come back to George town
A very old but small traditional wet market. It sells, fruit, vegetables, dry food, meat, live poultry etc.Busy activities will be at early morning and by 10.00am, many stalls would have closed for the day. I was late - came at 10.30am and the market seem deserted!!!It is at Campbell Street in the midst of many food stalls, restaurants.
Just OK.. clean but not maintains in the best and healthy condition..
One of the best and clean street Gold shops few of hawkers food court like famous restaurant hamidiyah cafe ludge and close from wet market Chowrastra
A good choice for less oil vegetarian food but limited choices.
Near chowrasta market
Definitely a historical landmark for Georgetown, but it is deteriorating fast..
Ramai dan banyak toko tradisional di sini. If you want to act like a local, you can come here.
One way traffic.. crowded place, especially on evening.
Nice place, you can bargain stuff in here, price is reasonable
A very old market and relatively small market compared to the rest on Penang island, but you can still buy fishes, veggies, chickens, porks and fruits. Just beside the market, there are foods stalls and drinks stall. The curry mee and lam mee are my favourite, they are really delicious with generous serving and big prawns.
Like Campbell market. But when i visit here, the store still closed (10 am). You can shopping by becak
This is a. Wonderfully authentic street market. We saw this as part of. Nazlinas cooking class Market tour, it is somewhere we wouldnt have otherwise seen. Go and see the spice man.
Grand old place. Has not lost its charm yet. Best place to buy fresh local mutton in Penang- check out Abang Razak.
Victorian style structure market building, heard it was built in the 1900.
This place is very special because the days of go noodles its all vintage style. The old style how mum n grandma used to cook it. It fantastic. If you are into classic PG food this is a must go
Lovely street with lots of interesting shops, cafes, restaurant that sells local noodles and bakery. We found a stingless bee hive in the middle of the town!! Its a lovely harmless need. Shows how beautiful Penang really is.
Dont botter to go here. Not much stall. Difficult for halal food. Only indian serves. And mostly chinese food only
Enjoy nice local coffee & noodle by the roadside stalls. Simple & unfussy.
Nice Roti Canai by the road side!
Its a clean wet market where you can get seafood ,mutton, poultry, vege and fruits
Great to be able to experience an old historic wet market.
Try the curry noodles..large prawns rm6
It doesnt get any older than this. Yes. Aged and drab. But it has its own charm. Keep an open mind and let yourself be surprised.Try the curry noodles!
Nothing much, only a bit fresh produce and a bit of local foods!
One of Penangs iconic market with quite a few nice hawker stalls.
Looks run down, but if you look carefully, you can see the charm of the market, and imagine how majestic the market once used to be. Untouched. Nice noodles sold beside the market!!!. Must try
A beautiful area to roam and hang out...one can almost feel the past around you.
One of the wet markets in Georgetown centre. Long history behind. The road opposite is complementary to the market, selling knick knacks and many stalls hawking local fares
