This isnt a park. Its a city-block sized field with an couple of overgrown trees. At least, thats where the marker in the thumbnail is located. The actual park is a few blocks away, and its nothing more than a mostly-dirt block with a pretty tree canopy and an oval concrete sidewalk going around the perimeter. Nothing special at all. Its pathetic how Houston has always treated its historic gems. This played an integral part in Houstons early-ish years and its disgusting that nothing has been done to showcase the interesting activities that occurred.
