Cambodiana Restaurant - Cambodian restaurant in Kingston, Canada
Excellent quality of food. Cambodian soup was superb. I have been to Cambodia before and would say it tastes authentic.
Came for Pad Thai and wasnt a bit disappointed! Everyone in the group liked what they ordered. Interior is simple but invites to sit down and enjoy your food while marveling at the huge artwork.
Amazing Cambodia food. The best golden chicken in Kingston!!
Good food
Second best Cambodian food in town! Best atmosphere though!
Got takeout. Really fast. No bs. Super tasty.
This was sooooooo spicy. Couldt handel it. Plus the flavour in itself wasnt great. In European.
Tasty and authentic! Thai noodle soup and pad Thai are personal favourites.
Walked in ordered, and walked out within 5 minutes. Service was good, food was even better!
My absolute favourite local restaurant. Everyone should try this place at least once because I know youll have to go back again!
I walked by this place every day for over a year, always wondering what smelled SO GOOD. Today we decided to try it, we ordered the number 4 and the 16. Both were incredible, 16 (beef satayis the spiciest thing I have ever had in my life, and my mouth is still burning, but I just couldn’t stop because it was so good. Next time I’ll likely ask for the spice level to be brought down, but it’s definitely something I will order again. Both dishes were very flavourful and with huge portions. The lemon Thai iced tea was 10/10 as well.takeout order was ready in only 15 minutes as well on a Friday afternoon, which was impressive.
I always get this Cambodian when in Kingston. Its the best I have ever had. When we lived in nearby we would go multiple times a week. Delicious food and reasonable prices. Never had a bad meal. Try the devil satay if you want spicy - ask for it extra spicy for a next level experience. Highly recommend and should be on the top food destinations in Kingston!
Ive enjoyed food here during the dine-in "era" i.e. pre-covid. But the take away is a whole another ballgame.. The food just doesnt taste or look like its coming from the same kitchen. I collected my order and opened th box to eat - all within 5-7 mins (I live close to the restaurant..veggies and rice were overcooked and the dish had no salt. Cant do anything except dump the box of the pasty food. Will not be spoiling my dinner and have ordered from Mango Thai instead. I wish Cambodiana had coped better.
During covid-19 so had to do take out. Ordered spring rolls, the number 3, number 22 and Pad Thai. All were very good and different enough flavours that each were enjoyable on their own. We were three people and had asked if two meals would be enough for 3 (2 seniors, 1 university studentand were told it wasnt so added the pad thai. However we had enough leftovers for a second meal. Portions are generous
My favourite restaurant in town! Service is always great and super fast. The prices are reasonable for a student budget— couldn’t ask for anything more!
The CAMBODIANA SOUP is my favourite thing on the menu (although I confess I havent had everything on the menu!as it was very flavourful and bright and spicy. Delicious! So much rice, though, was unexpected. I just had leftovers. The TOM KHA KAI was sweeter and they made it with tofu instead of chicken for the vegetarian, but was less inclined to just leave it out and charge less, which was strange, I thought. We also had "Chefs Special" and it was OK, but tasted a bit like Chinese curry, so it wasnt my favourit
I remember coming here with my mom, years back and it was delicious! Went recently and it just wasnt how i remebered at all. :(
This place is amazing. Only about 8 tables. The owner/chef prepares the food only when ordered making it some of the freshest available. The mix of spices and flavours and the way they are blended is fantastic. The Spring Rolls are also some of the best in the city. The Green Thai Curry Soup - the best remedy for a cold or on a cold winter day, love it!
I have been coming here for years now. Even if I’m passing through kingston, this place is a must try. Amazing, mouth watering Cambodian food, prices haven’t changed in a long time, family run, adequate service but what’s lost in service (only sometimesis made up in taste. Close Queens U, inviting and lots parking in the rear of the building. If you are in to a much more flavourful Thai food, I recommend Cambodian for a change. You won’t be disappointed. Try the amazingtom yung goong first. Thing to note: for some odd reason there are more Cambodian restaurants in kingston than anywhere else.
Our first foray into Serbian food and what a surprise. This culture and cook so well I believe I have found not just a great restaurant but a whole new cuisine to explore. If you think you have tried everything but havent tried Serbian food you owe to yourself to give this place a sampling.

Several people who regularly travel directed us to this unassuming hole-in-the-wall. The faded menus in the windows gave the impression that it might a bit abandoned ... but when we sat down, people began trickling in, steadily. The flavours are absolutely authentic and delicious ... not an MSG establishment, but real flavour of real food. We really enjoyed it, and can recommend it to all who are interested in a Cambodian culinary experience.
Second time visit. Vermicelli looks like leftover and tastes like leftover cuz they are all look like one piece when they served. Spring rolls taste worse than what I can get from Costco. Chicken is either overcooked or a bit raw. That’s my friends comment. And I ordered the same dish as last time, the taste difference is huge. More spicy, bean is raw, chicken is just like what my friend said, and I can’t feel the coconut milk, which is exactly why the second time visit. So disappointed. Won’t come again.
I decided to venture into something Cambodian. Im glad I had read the yelp reviews that mentioned the large portions here because we ordered one entree to share that was plenty enough food for the both of us. We decided to go for the vermicelli noodles with bbq shrimp & pork, and fried egg rolls. It was served with a nice helping of lettuce and veggies which made the whole meal light and refreshing, but filling
Always a great place to visit if you enjoy Cambodian & Thai - I eat there once a week when I can. Every dish Ive had from this place so far (and Ive had a lothas been exceptionally tasty, and theyre always willing to accomodate you for special requests.
Really quick service and delicious food! The vermicelli (pork & shrimp, beef, or chickenwith spring rolls is my absolute favourite!
Delicious food at a great price, highly recommended. The owner is very friendly, offered a seperate menu selection for Gluten Free which is a plus for many allergic to wheat/gluten.
One of my favorite places to eat, always consistent and delish! Vegetarian & Vegan options available
My family and I travel to Montreal 3 times a year, this is our pit stop every single time. Ive tried other Thai/Cambodian places in Kingston and this one reigns supreme for us. Cant wait to eat here every single time
My husband and I have been loyal Cambodiana customers since 2015. We are both vegan and cant say enough about the delicious meals, great service and cozy atmosphere. We have been known to drive many kilometers out of our way to stop in! Try our favourite dish #19
My boyfriend and I were pretty spent after spending the morning walking through princess street. In desperate need for some refreshing food, we found this place through the rave yelp reviews and I am so glad that we decided to eat here! Very easy to find, we were immediately seated and handed menus to look over. The menu is pretty big and broken into Cambodian and Thai sections. Being Thai, I decided to venture into something Cambodian. Im glad I had read the yelp reviews that mentioned the large portions here because we ordered one entree to share that was plenty enough food for the both of us. I absolutely enjoyed the authentic tastes offered and would recommend this to place to anyone!IG: @KFitzEats
Small and cozy place with super-delicious foods. Good and fast service and a really good price for large portion of food.
Cannot speak highly enough of this resturant, yum food, large portions, friendly service and a good price. very nice paintings too
Love Cambodiana! One of the first restaurants I tried in kingston and I don’t get here often enough! I usually get the spring rolls (fried or freshand either soup A Tom yum or the pad Thai. I’ve also had the daily special quite often and would recommend along with the satey.
Large portion and reasonable price for what you get. Food was good but not exceptional. We had take-out. The interior is small and a little rough - could use a complete makeover.
Cheap, tasty, good location on Brock in front of Hotel Dieu hospital. Casual dining. Good for meals with friends or dining alone. Free WiFi. Quick service. Excellent option for take out or delivery. Great curry and pad Thai.
This place definitly suits the expression : do not judge a book by its cover. Although it was clean, the place would certainly require a good revamp. Please do not expect anything fancy. With this said, I need to mention that the 4 stars are all going to the food. The chicken curry with eggplants ( special of the daywas delicious. The portions are big and you find that the price is right for your wallet. The staff was super smily and friendly. I would definitly come back.
Quite liked their house special soup! The rest was good, but that was the star of the meal. They made changes for my vegetarian mom, though I would have preferred if they would have just left out the meat and given us a discount instead of adding tofu.
Good food just a little expensive for what you get (like its mostly rice. I ordered number 28.
The staff here is great. So friendly, great food. Golden chicken and Devil satay are awesome sauce!
Great food, you get lots of it and it wont break the bank. Me and my co-workers go here often for lunch and though its small the food is authentic Cambodian. Be warned it can be spicy so if the word spicy is in the description it has some kick but still very tasty. The daily lunch specials are always a good bet. But they have a wide variety of meals; some with spice and some non-spicy. The soft shrimp spring rolls served with peanut sauce are excellent and always fresh.
Best Cambodian food in town. Me and a friend at work get take out from here about once a week. Always very happy with the quality and portion size. Very friendly staff and fast service.
Excellent golden chicken. Cashew chicken was decent but not as good. Chefs special was mediocre. Highly recommend! Not too appealing inside. I suggest take-out.
Great Food. Golden Chicken was amazing. Right balance of spicy and the peanuts add a great compensation to the spiciness. 100% would recommend
What an awesome place. The food is fresh and tasty. Prompt and courteous service. Will be going back.
My absolutely favourite Thai/Cambodian restaurant ever. I went weekly when I lived in the city and still have to stop in for a meal or at least take out every time I am driving by/near Kingston. It may not be as spiffy looking as some other spots being tucked by the bus stop but I promis its the best. The chef special curry makes my heart sing but everything Ive had there is spectacular.
This place is great. Fantastic food. Great people. It may not look fancy, but we were so so glad we stopped by.
This place is delicious, well priced and relaxing. Also several dishes can be made vegan for those of us who care about that sorta thing :).
Friendly staff, great service, and excellent food. I particularly recommend their exquisite Spicy Sour Curry Noodle Soup! Im there every time Im in Kingston.
The food is very good, and the portion sizes are generous. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable and clean.Highly recommended!
