MoreFOOD IS JUST AVERAGE !!as Well as not much delicious same as the Dubai branchesFACILITIESbenefit sand parking is available car parkrestaurant is really spacioustwo floor available10 peoples can sit together dining available
MoreTaste is not worth the hype the starters are good however the main course is not what we expected it to be.. even the deserts were disappointing.
MoreSharjah branch..delicious food. They should have a bigger space to accomodate more people and avoid customers queing up to eat.Toilets and wash basins should be kept more hygienic.
MoreOur favourite breakfast spot for South Indian Food - Set Dosa are yummy.Authentic South Indian Taste
MoreGood food. But we came there very late like around 11.30 pm so we didnt get the items from menu... coz its already there closing time was 12. But their suggestions was good from the available items...
MoreDirty and disgusting fly infested tables, very poor quality of customer service and worst meals i ever had. you should bring a flycatcher always while eating.
MoreOne of the Best malabari restaurant in Sharjah. Little bit expensive.
Worst food, highly expensive.. Less qty. Bad behaviour.... they thinking giving food free.. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
MoreThe quality of food is great and consistent. Always a pleasure to visit.
Butter chicken is the worst, Nan is also not good. They are good in South Indian food not for North Indian.Even Tender coconut pudding was tasteless.
MoreGood place for dining in sharjah. Food and customer service are good. Price a bit high.
MoreOrdered butter chicken and fried rice..it was bad really bad..normally we order appam or biryani which usually turns to be good...bit this time will not recommend
MoreThe food was far below the expected level both the times I had. The naan was burned off and hard to chew. The chicken curry was watery. In total not worth the money spend.
MoreExcellent cuisine and services in a calm environment Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to create the lovely service and cuisine.
MoreDishes are delicious but rate is little bit high
Good ambience and decent service. Food was delivered without much waiting...
The food was not very good quality and was overpriced. there were files in the dining area and lots of cocroches in the wash room.
MoreFood is okey , even if menu seems expensive
Tasty food. But bit costly when comparing with other restaurant. Servise is average
MoreWe visited Calicut Notebook for our quick Breakfast catch up of old school friends. The place was selected for its ample seating with decent ambience and well known Kerala style/ South Indian delicacies. We ordered Appam & Chicken Stew, Masala Dosa, Ghee Roast and also, Puttu & Kadala with Tea.Appam was freshly prepared - served hot, soft and was very tasty. It went well with chicken stew. 1 portion of Chicken stew can easily be shared by 2 adults alongside appam.Masala Dosa/ ghee roast were just okayish type; whereas the coconut chutney was good.Puttu comes in combination colours (white and chemba/ragi, not sure). Puttu and kadala curry were just average. In total, we felt the quality was very average and it lacked that magic what we all were expecting.Parking: The area has a lot of parking slots and a pay & park area in and around the restaurant. Remember to pay parking fees to avoid unnecessary fine as the surveillance team is very active in the area.
MoreTheir Lunch is very good and tasty.. but their Basmati rice was under cooked.. rest side dishes are very tasty.Dinner not recommended. Not so tasty or special..
MoreGreat seating capacity,Good foodConsistency in food quality and tasteGreat service too
MoreAll the foods are in kerala taste. Must try Kerala parota with Mango fish curry.
It tastes okay not mouth watering, prices dont match the quality. Porotta is just another porotta from any Normal restaurant. Mutton was not tasting like goat it was more like sheep.
MoreHad a wonderful time there with family. Food was excellent, and the service was perfect and prompt. Mr. Prem came back to our table quite a few times to check if we needed anything and was a joy to deal with. 5/5.
MoreTaste of the food is above average (Compared to other restaurants in Sharjah)Price is slightly on a higher side but the quality and quantity of food compensates it.Normally crowded during peak hours.
MoreThis is one of the best restaurants here, and the fish fry is great
It doesnt make any sense how they serve those horrible dishes at such high prices, almost twice what normal rates are. Last time we ordered three chicken dishes and all of them tasted the same, the chicken they use is questionable for the price we are paying, its poor quality and service
MoreWe bought some snacks two days back 6 items total bill was 51 aed when we rechecked the bill for one chicken roll they have charged 18 aed( bought two total for chicken roll 36 aed). When we rechecked with them they told only 3.20 aed for one chicken roll. Actual bill for 6 items was 19 aed but they charged 30 aed extra. Very bad experience from Calicut note book.
MoreI ordered a biriyani at 12:20 PM and sunday my worst sunday ever in UAE no lunch because of CALICUT NOTBOOK. Never choose them F*Took 1 hour and driver call me and asked for another 5 mins. Still I did not get that biriyani 🤣V poor 💩actually
MoreTasty and good authentic Kerala food... a well visited Malayali joint ..
I had a chicken biriyani , the worst biriyani had ever from UAE.There is no proper service and customer management. Same complaint reported from nearest table too.
MoreIts one of the best south Indian restaurant in town. Their nadan lunch meals is one of the unique with supreb tasty. The fresh milk tea and other side dishes are of super quality and taste. Ya its a bit costly than other restaurants but worthy. The ambiance is also neat and clean. A south Indian especially keralite should have a try here
MoreNice to be here always… taste authentic Malabar Style.. family type restaurant
Nice restaurant.Beef curry was really good.
We purchased 13 chicken biriyanis on 11 june 2021, the chicken had no masala in it. Please prepare the chicken with proper masala. It was just like boiled chicken.AED 248.85 is charged on your credit card 523926XXXXXX7001 from CALICUT NOTE BOOK REST on 11/06. Combined Avail.Bal is 3527.60.
MoreSuper biriyaniNormal meals is not good
Very bad experience. So upset with the food received after paying so much. Ordered beef Perlan and it had only bones in the curry and no meat. Also very salty. Not worth for the money.Three fourth of the container was filled with bones. This was from Sharjah clock tower branch.
MoreOne of the best mota rice 🍚 restaurant in sharjah. I like their sambar and fish curry, upperi special onion roast, special natholi🎣 fry and should try Mango Pudding really yummy 😋 please note that their staff is very friendly and they know how to handle customers👍
MoreFoodies must try the Beef ularthiyathu..its simply awesome. And the Pazhasi salad they serve as compliment is just amazing.
MoreAbsolutely amazing food and very friendly staff. Great keralite food to experience the true flavours of Kerala. Definitely recommend the complimentary Pazhassi Salad.
MoreVery nice food
I couldnt say it was best. Chicken lollipop was not good. Avoid chicken here. Fish seems to be good here. When i was there. All fish dishes were over already. Try fish dishes. Tea was fantastic 👌. Weekends will be more rush. So plan accordingly and go here.PS: Parking will be tough.
MoreIt’s like a fusion restaurant.Nice food, very friendly staffs, reasonable price, party hall.Ambiance is just ok.. These are their main highlightsFriday afternoons are always crowded; if you are planning to go on Friday, go bit early.Overall it’s a good one, you can go…. Just try it.
MoreNice yummy food. Value for money
I had been there couple of times and writing review for the first time.I just love their Chicken Dum Biriyani and it did not disappoint me this time too. Their masala is in good quantity and chicken pieces are juicy.Tried their meals and it’s very good for that price. They keep changing their side dishes for meals daily. They have a good seating capacity and service is good.
MoreOne of the good Indian restaurants in the Rolla area. Quality of the food is really well maintained. Tried Fish Thali which was very nice. Also Chicken Alappey Curry and Parota tasted good along with chicken dry fry. Happy with the experience. Ambiance is on the average side. Prices are reasonable. Overall a nice place if you like Indian food specially Typical Kerala style food.
