For me this is the best coffee in HB, staff super friendly and they have a great cake and pastry selection

Staff was super friendly, the coffee (iced lattewas really good and the cookie was probably the best Cookie Ive ever had in a shop. Definitively worth the kinda steep prices.

Very friendly staff. They have freshly baked cakes and muffins.I tried the lemon cake and it was super delicious . Definitely i will come-by again and will try the other cakes and the lemon cake again❣️

The guy working there is very nice but the coffee(cold brewwas absolutely disgusting and looked like hot chocolate. People even asked us what kind of beverage this was and if we were really going to drink that.

Very friendly staff. Fresh from oven various choices of cake and coffee is good. Not sure sampling cake still available to serve🤤. Miss the place for sure. Definitely will be back soon. Greetings from SG

Good cakes and friendly staff! I love their concept that you can just get a piece of cake which they freshly cut from the big piece (like when you buy ham slices from a „bigger piece of meatat a butcher)I tried matcha raspberry and chocolate walnut, loved them both!

I LOVE this place! Staff is lovely and the food is so yummy I could go there every day for breakfast, which is what Im actually doing right now. Banana bread, here I come! 🍌💛

So these folks set me up with the pay restroom before I was even a paying client. Wish more businesses could be good to people the way they treated me. They were a God send when my tummy desperately needed it!

With all the hustle and bustle in Zurich HB, if you find you need a quick refreshing treat,snack,or fast meal, you should run by Gates 10-11 and try out Cakefriends. It’s a wonderful place with lots to choose from healthy cakes, baked fresh daily. Freshly squeezed juices, if you don’t see what you like on the menu, they can just mix real quick. Everything is fresh and made to order. They even have special Georgia Southern Pecans, freshly roasted in a special herb and syrup mix. Prices were great, staff was great. They even offered to let me try a few things. Plenty of seating if you’re not in a hurry. Give them a try, you will love it.

Great coffee and bakery item at this cute shop in Zurich. Located in the subway to public transit area. The shop has outdoor seating (outsidr of the shop but still inside the main building).Definitely try their awesome bakery items: cakes and muffins. Liked their roast of the coffee.

Excellent cakes and Flammkuchen (tarte flambée). Fun concept and presentation of the food. Downside: Its often very busy and the place seems understaffed. That means waiting time can easily explode.

Yummmmmiii, one of the best surprises. Get your "Glück am Stück" and share your favorite cake combination with your loved ones as I did. I also tried soup, salad and quiche. One of the best salad dressings I have ever had. Thank you so much for the all around perfect ambiente and experiences. Warmly recommended!

So much fun! Loved the concept and the choices. Coffee was very tasty and the cake selection great, as was the presentation, decor, and menus. Comfortable and quiet mid-morning but getting fuller toward midday. Really surprised to learn that this is a stand-alone place and not a chain; its such a fun idea it seems like it would be worth replicating. Recommended.

Great concept to enjoy cakes. For all those who dont know which cake they are going to choose there is a solution for that. Just take one of each with some cream, berries and chocolate sauce. Comes im with a 7er or 9er plate. Great teas too!

Not very good. I wanted one piece of cake but you can only have two. And the cake is not even good. Im disappointed. Will not go here again, the coffee was not good either.

The cakes are very good. The place is pretty small, though, and the service was not too friendly when we were there (probably because undersized). Anyway worthy for the food!

Slow service, inattentive staff. Concept is cute and good taste fine. But the quality of the food doesnt overwhelm me enough to ignore the poor service quality.

Many choose of home made cakes, which taste good. But the coffee is the one thing you have to taste here, very good taste.

Would totally recommend this place. Coffee is very good - Italian expresso especially - and also comes with a nice variety of food to have brunch / breakfast or lunch. Portions are reasonable, especially the homemade bread selection with jams and honey. Female staff is also really kind.

Cosy even if its usually quite loud and full. expect to wait for a while until you get a seat. The cakes are awesome and they have a decent selection of teas.

They have plenty of both sweet and savoury options. I recommend the sharable 6-9 pieces of cake when going out with friends to get a taste of the sweet part of the menu.

Service used to be great. But not anymore food is still good. But dont expect a friendly or speedy service. Unbelievable how staff can change an experience

They serve delicious cake and tea here. There is also a small variety of beers. I went there during winter and felt the heat inside to be overwhelming.What I liked was the mechanical Facebook Like tracker (sorry, no photo).

Cute little place with some pretty good cakes. On the other hand, the place is super crammed, the service staff is stretched thin, and the prices are high even for Zurich. Its probably better to come when its not crowded -- like during weekday afternoons.

Coffee and tea are good, the deserts are delicious.But in my opinion the store lacks a bit of a clear concept. The interiour and the played music reminded me more of a bar instead of a coffee shop. Some of the staff members were not that friendly - our questions only got answered impatiently and the ordered food was almost thrown over the table. During crowded hours it is bit noisy and the there is also a little wait.

Love their Flammkuchen. Even though we keep meaning to go there for cakes, we end up ordering Flammkuchen or Ofenkuechli, because we always fancy them more than their cakes. The cake variation is good, but without the selection of sauces would be too dry.

Lively atmosphere and lots of nice cakes to choice from. A couple of times the cakes have been slightly dry though.

The cakes have good flavor, but theyre too dry. The cream they serve as a side for the cakes to make them more palatable was too thick and not particularly tasty. The coffee was the best part, but nothing special. Steep prices and cramped room indoors. Might be worth sitting outside when the weather is good, but otherwise I dont recommend this place.

Friendly staff and cozy place, usually quite crowded without being noisy. The desserts we had very good if pricey (but that is to be expected), and the smile was free after all. The place, in Niederdorf, is well located and very nice for breakfast too.

A nice coffee place with very good cakes and chocolate. Perfect for an afternoon tea time when its raining or snowing outside. But the place is small is very crowded.

Unformal, high quality. best for breakfast.Prices are high, especially if you are not used to swiss prices, but the chocolate Gran Cru is really really awesome.Usually I get that and the raspberry tartine, cant remember the german name.Good pizza-like food.It opens only at 10am, and have never seen anybody with a laptop, go here to relax and have a chat.

Awesome cakes, muffins, tea and atmosphere.The problem: service never comes. 20 minutes+ to wait for a waitress is normal there.
