Caffè Nero Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork

Pretty sad experience here. The coffee was fine and standard, however the purpose for our visit was to study and they wouldn’t allow laptops! They said they were too busy to have people studying, even if it was for less than 30 min. I understand they’re busy but what a horrible policy. Can’t say I’ll ever be back.

Loved it. The place has a cosy feel to it. Staff was nice and very helpful.

I was at this Coffeeshop with Friends and had to wait in a Quee which. Was ok I was a bit disappointed with the price I had to pay for my Caramel Flat white I thought 4.20 for my Coffee was a total rip off it should have been about 3.80 and Also it was pretty packed not A lot of Seats in there..

Nice atmosphere, staff were very friendly, toastie was very good, especially as they heated it up. Really comfy seats too.

Coffee not the best but its not bad. Problem with the place is the rude staff. Young guy, short black hair with a small tattoo on his neck in particular, quite a rude little clown and its not the first time either Ive experienced this, needs an attitude adjustmentIf I were the owner and hearing how he treats customers, hed be out the door in a flash.

Unfriendly staff (one in particular, the other with red hair was nice“making you a favour” to drink an overpriced bad coffee. Toilets smelling like ashtray, nah, there are better places to waste your money, nothing special.

My favorite now. The staff are nice and friendly. Foods not disappointed at all. You can get many places same standard. Its all about services.place so comfy and relaxing I come here regularly I love it.The guy with blonde hilite Cian and girl with very short hair are amazing staff I love it

I took a very good soya cappuccino here. Price is not the cheapest one, but its soya so i could expect. However , staff was nice and place good for relaxing during a cold winter afternoon. Position is excellent, very central.

Whats with the rude staff?! Do they not realise its the customers that keep them in a job! Place not very clean either, toilet looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months.

would love if they did good lunches, sweet treats only ok but the staff and atmosphere are great.

We really had two very good coffees. Unfortunately, the staff is not that friendly and overall the bar and coffee machine looks very dirty and not very cared for. Drinking coffee like this is no fun!

Its hard at the moment to give a true assessment whilst still under restrictions so we are limited on our judgements. This is the first place restaurant or cafe where I was asked for identification as well as the vaccine pass and telephone number. The barrister was friendly and carried what I ordered to the table and asked would I like water as well which she duly brought. The place was very clean and it was a nice experience

I visit this very friendly establishment regularly and was actually in the queue when that "lady" Lucy Linehans review mentioned below made a huge scene.The staff were simply doing what they were meant to and following guidelines and handled it very professionally. "the lady" was completely out of line and doesnt seem to have any real grasp of the GDPR she referenced so heavily.The staff should be given medals for having to put up with people like that loon!

Hi was in the queue today getting take away when a customer called a lady raising a point "psycho" trying to put down a lady who made a request to staff member. The lady handled situation well and calmly but the staff member instead of listening dismissed the ladys request. The lady was completely in the right. I was appalled and shocked at how the staff member behaved towards this lady and how a subsequent customer became involved shouting abusive names at the lady. The lady was spot on legally with her gdpr information and Cafe Nrro need to train their staff to treat their customers with decorum. This was horrendous. Wont drink here again

Very nice spot, all of the seats are spaced out and very aesteticly pleasing. It wont cost you the price of a tub of coffee for one cup either! They could be open a bit later tho!

It was okay. Tea was charged double as I wanted it strong. In other cafes is not charges twice but anyway....The place is small and cosy, very nice for an easy evening with friends for tea or coffee.They have very nice deserts.Staff is always friendly and very helpful.Could easily recommend the place to someone who is looking for nice and easy going place to drink a coffee.Thanks

Always wanted to sit in there and it was always busy. Managed to be lucky when went early afternoon. Great choice of sandwich and beautiful coffee as well. Staff is friendly and didnt mind me staying for at least 2 hours. Very happy and will go back when in town.

Staff member was very accommodating, I was paying for two different orders and there were no difficulties encountered. Great service! Lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed my experience with caffe nero. Would definitely return.

Love this café! The staff are always friendly and the place is clean and tidy. The coffee tastes great and its also a really good price, especially with the loyalty card and their app.

Excellent coffee, nice atmosphere inside to sit and have a cup. Love the little library, a fine touch. Staff cannot be faulted either. Enthusiastic but not overly so.

Really nice and cosy. Staff is very polite. You can get all sorts of coffee. Theres liquor, and baked sweets, and cakes. Theres a refrigerator with various sandwiches, breakfast rolls and toasts. And a basket full of chips-esque snacks. Some shelves full of books for you to read, as well.You could easily loose a few hours in this place since its quite calm and comfortable. Would recommend.

Really nice place with a great, cosy atmosphere and lovely staff. I am always happy with their coffee because it is tasty and they know the right temperature. Great that they have a loyalty program as I could collect few free lattes like this. They also offer additional stamp on your loyalty card or application if you bring your own mug which is an added bonus. The Salted Caramel latte is fab!

Much as I prefer supporting independents, I will admit that I really love the ambience of this Nero, consistently good service, friendly staff and lovely coffee. Ive often sat in for a few hours working without feeling rushed or like I shouldnt be there for as long. Strong WiFi connection, too.

Love this place! Great coffees and sandwiches, served by lovely staff. I’m there almost everyday. Being your own reusable cup and get an extra stamp.
