22 The Town, Enfield EN2 6LT, Cheshunt
Casual coffee-shop chain with a menu of Italian-style light dishes and specially blended drinks.
Decent coffee. Good friendly service
The coffees and the food are really nice and tasty but one off the staff and male staff was very rude and very abrupt and very sarcastic plus read the way he spoke to one of the staff was not very nice in front of the customer for overall the rest of the staff are really nice and the food is also tasty as well as the hot and cold drinks
Absolutely filthy! The tables are not cleared and when asked staff to clear was told do it yourself. Toilets filthy too. Would not go back.
Always well stocked and organised. Courteous staff
I love this Caffè, not only do they serve lovely coffee. But they are child and dog friendly too.
Caffe Nero at Enfield: Wasteful and not adhering to allergy guidelines consistently. Someone ahead of me had what looked like a chocolate frappe and the trainee barista made too much. About 1/3rd of what she made was thrown away. I had coffee with oat milk. I noticed the milk frother had not been wiped nor hot air expressed out to clean it. I had to ask the trainee barista to do.Service was slow and not helped by the tight space in which to work. Nor was it helped by the trainee batrista being distracted by a handsome young man. I manage staff and Im all for staff being happy and having fun at work, but not at the expense of the basics and standards.
Lovely and friendly staff who were still smiling despite a very busy afternoon.
Always a great coffee.Almond croissant was OK but didnt feel as fresh as previously
no hand washing soap .. messy and unclean WC
amazing service from Shenel at Cafe Nero in Enfield Town very quick service polite and friendly good product knowledge on the capsules that you sell for the nesspresso machines
Great coffee in a pleasant setting. Staff were helpful and a great customer service experience.
This was a nice place. They did a nice almond milk latte for me. The place was generally clean and the staff were okay. I would come back here.
Sorry to said but your guys really dont know how to texture milk, there was very little difference between our latte and flat white. The milk in both was flat just a layer of bubbles on top. The store is not very clean, the toilet was disgusting and smelly
Hygiene of the cafe is becoming worse and worse, staff are not approachable they do not want to clean. customers always have to ask for them to clean. They spill the drink while serving but dont clean it unless you actually ask. I think the drinks are expensive enough at lease the cleaning can be better.
Good selection of coffee ,tea and soft drinks, snacks, cakes
Bought a croissant but didn’t receive it. Went up to the counter to ask for it but they asked if I had a receipt though they never gave me a receipt. But overall it was quite nice.
Latte was not right at all. And who hands you a fork touching the prongs?? Disgusting!!Never again!
Coffee is decentThat new lady who works there with the blue flares and half blonde hair is cute af ….Crossiants are always staleSome of the staff are a moody bunch
The coffee here is sometimes quite good, and it’s better than most other chain coffee shops. They also do a really nice ciabatta chicken sandwich. However, they gave me yesterday’s croissants which were DRYYYYYY. I paid £3 for a stale croissant. Cafe Nero must think I’m a fool!Update (17/01/22): I ordered another croissant. This one was so stale and dense it was like a brick.
I ordered a medium latte which waw 2.85 couldnt even drink it because of the lady over heating the milk and burning it . The place needs baristas who can actually steam the milk properly. Will never drink from nero ever again.
after ordering, I presented my vouchers, the staff said that the vouchers do not work, upgrade your staff! I do not recommend this place to anyone !
The coffee was great but the surroundings are looking very tired and in need of refreshment.
This cafe is always very busy and packed. Best time to go is very early in the morning. The staff could do with keeping on top of thr cleaning of tables. So as to make a table is alwsys available for the next paying customers. As there are hardly any chairs to sit on evrrytime I have been.
I enjoy their coffee but it seems a shame that on lovely days people hog the outside tables for hours with just a Coffee when everyone would like to sit outside and eat, especially after the awful weather.
Nicely located on the perimeter of the shopping centre. Good range of drinks and snacks. Has a few outside tables.
Lemonade over crushed raspberry, was delicious and very refreshing 😋 Ill definitely have this again .
The place was in a clean condition considering the amount of people who came through the door while I was there. Covid-19 measures in place, service was quick and I had a smoothie which was to die for!! Would definitely recommend. 👍👍👍
Prompt service once inside but there is a limit of 4 people at anytime so you may need to queue. My coffee was just how I liked it.
Extremely warm welcome! Major respect to the girl with pink hair, having to deal with a completely irrational and rude customer, who refused to wear a mask during this difficult period. We all want to stay safe, and that goes doubly for those who serve us and are exposed to more risk than those people just popping in for a quick cuppa. Despite running a take away only service, the staff were lovely and accommodating, thoroughly recommended to anyone visiting the town centre.
Went into Cafe Nero on Monday morning for my usual coffee. Pink haired with glasses barista is absolutely rude. I think she is forgetting she is working in a front facing role and to be customer friendly. She is absolutely an awful representative. I will not be going back to Cafe Nero. Costa is only around the corner and they are polite, friendly and Nero your pink haired barista could learn about customer services from them.
I enjoyed being here, and the staff were helpful and friendly, and even though I paid for my coffee via the app they still gave me two stars for bringing my own cup. There seemed to be a lot of space so the covid rules worked, and the atmosphere and the coffee was good. I sat over the road near the church to drink it, and I liked the Christmas cup that the coffee was in.
Caffe Nero need to work a bit more on their coffee taste. This particular Caffe offers outside sitting and generally good indoors space.
This is much the same as any high street coffee chain- functional but indistinguishable. The decor, facilities and coffee are mediocre. The only way these places can stand out is due to the behaviour of their staff. Unfortunately, the staff in Caffe Nero Enfield, make this place distinct for all the wrong reasons. Ive read elsewhere that its staff can be unfriendly- and that applies to all of them as far as I can see. No smiles or how are you today?, ever!! However, there are some staff in this coffee shop that are downright rude and antagonistic. It seems to be a culture issue- the staff here not only appear to dislike working in a coffee shop but also dislike the customers who visit. It needs to change or Caffe Nero will go out of business. Meanwhile, the staff at other, equally functional but indistinguishable, coffee shops in Enfield are much more friendly.....you have a choice
Despite the difficulties of a second lockdown the staff at this Caffè Nero are always friendly, helpful and quick. I look forward to being able to sit down and enjoy my coffee in store
Love their coffee but was disappointed when a large group of people came in and staff were slow to attend to themAs we are currently observing social distancing I expected more from themHowever coffee is very good
Caffe Nero serves the same foodstuffs as Costa and other similar establishments. Prices are about the same, ie overpriced, and the food is about the same. Hence only 2 stars. If you are looking for good quality coffee at rock bottom prices then look no further than the "Golden Arches".
Was all ok. Would of liked to of been asked if i wanted chocolate ontop of my cappuccino. Service could of been made more personal. Social distance inside was good.
There is so much more this coffee shop can do. The customer service in here needs some work...You need to hire someone that is going to implement a culture change. The potential to take your customers on a journey is there, I would invest in that....
The service here was always average, but post-covid, it seems to have become worse... The staff have absolutely no idea about customer service, they have no manners and can barely be bothered to get your order right - they behave as though they are doing you a favour by making your coffee. It is a real shame because the actual quality of the coffee is good and the venue is in a nice location... There are far nicer coffee shops in Enfield Town.
I just ordered vanilla frapucino and it was the worse drink ever! She didnt put any ice and basically mix coffee with cold milk only! I asked and paid for whip cream , she put less than half teaspoon of whip cream! It was so horrible I didnt even drink it and put it in bin! I paid £4.99 for to this horrible drink!Never ever again Nero! Thank God for Starbuck!
As usual the hot chocolate was super! I can never fault it.However the lady barrister with red hair and the fringe is absolutely horrible and rude. She’s put me off coming back. Then another lady who’s tall with short blond hair absolutely disrespectful and gave me a rude stare.
Normally I like Caffe Nero coffee. Today I ordered a latte from this branch in Enfield and found it to be nothing more than hot milk with hardly any coffee taste. Absolutely the worst coffee I have had in a long time. Even the milk tasted disgusting. How on earth do you get away with charging almost £3 for that.
I am a regular visitor to Cafe Nero in Enfield Town. The service is always friendly and professional and the facilities are always clean and well kept. However my visit today was spoiled because there were 2 men seated on an outside table who were drinking a bottle of Brandy at the table. They bought nothing from the cafe and continually came in to take cups of water and to use the toilets. I asked to see the manager so that I could bring this matter to his or her attention but I was told the manager was not there. These people were giving a very bad impression to Cafe Nero and unless checked, they will return again for sure.
Well,Were do I Begin? This place Needs Fumegation Very Dirty,Staff need to get Their Gloves and masks on And Give this Caffe Nero A Damm Good sterilization. Coffee is good,But felt on edge drinking it In case cups were all germed up. Come on Clean this place Up...Guys..
Went there with a friend on my birthday. Staff were arrogant and made me feel humiliated. They were rude and took an unnecessarily long time to serve us. Horrible experience. I will never go there ever again. There are other cafes which treat people better.
Alright for a quick coffee, but looking a bit tired. We sat outside, but quite untidy as tables hadnt been cleared and stuff was getting blown off them (serviettes, wrappers), but inside looked okay.....and busy, so coffee must be popular!
Seems like your average Nero to me. Good location to see the people of Enfield walk past.
Quick coffee, bright and chill decor. They have a lot of space in the store and also offer outdoor seating, when weather permits. Standard Nero fare and drink options. The staff is friendly and they open early enough to be useful to most people on their way to work in the morning.
Bigger than the local Costa Coffee. Floors are flat and as such tables dont wobble (like they do at Costa in the precinct about 100m away). Nice large glass windows to the front let lots of natural light in. Air con. Prices are a little more expensive than Costa Coffee, but considering how classier it is here (with no wobbly ass furniture), thats okay. Staff seem friendly. Will update this review when I visit more often.
All tables are dirty with plenty of cups... Staff doesnt know its own menu, offering me ice tea instead frappe... Dirty ashtrays, absolutely rubish and joke with the brand.. the photo is taken just when I sat and I had to clean the ashtray myself... Giving me folded note change like its secret.. why do you charge for eating in, when there is no service not even a spoon for my coffee ??
