Casual coffee-shop chain with a menu of Italian-style light dishes and specially blended drinks.
Coffee tastes like the machines haven’t been cleaned recently. The furniture is absolutely disgusting and looks like it has never been cleaned.
Please, teach your staff to make difference of coffees.Macchiato is not esspreso and doesnt come in small cup!Just google it, it is not that difficult
Supposed to close at 19:00 on sundays. 18:45 they asked me to leave with a not so nice hand gesture pointing at the door. Couldnt use the bathroom anymore although i quite a need to urinate after having had two infusions.Tea was ok and the seating is nice too.
Nice caffe. Great friendly staff
On the page it looked very nice and toasted on the top. Decided to order something for brunch. Spent €20 on the order. Came in looking like a cheap panini from Aldi for €2. Such a disappointment.
Great place and atmosphere!
Lovely place for a relaxing coffee inside, or out. Very clean toilets. May prove tricky for disabled people with mobility difficulties to get to the top part of the cafe where the toilets are.
Great mocha! Friendly staff
Caffè nero Drogheda is the best place for coffee because of the staff, they are all friendly and chatty and have perfected their lattes 😋. I always have a great experience and would recommend.
Always great coffee and hot chocolate, allowed our dog inside and the worker was so friendly!
Very nice staff and good coffee thanks
Coffee is absolutely delicious here... Staff are very helpful 👌
lovely spot, staff are so friendly and helpful
Love the coffee here, its always spot on. Nice place to sit and watch the crowds walk by.
Enjoyable experience and excellent ambience .Staff attentive without being intrusive.I will call again if only to see the sisters...
Enjoyed my coffee there recently... met some nice sisters...The staff are very helpful
Its a wonderful place to sit and relax. The interior is like a rustic living room, the coffee tastes great. I had a scone with my coffee, all fresh and perfect for the morning. It will be my Café when Im in Drogheda.
Super service, Emma the manager is a fantastic host
This is a cozy cafe on West Street, Drogheda. Lots of students frequent with their laptops.
Really nice coffee shop in rhe middle of Drogheda. Great place to go and relax a couple of hours away. Coffee is good too.
Went in for a coffee with mother and to feed my 13 month old child. Firstly the staff where not friendly and accommodating, we ask the women could she put the baby food in the microwave for 30sec to heat up for the child and she refused without any reason. I ended up running to a friend who works up the road to heat the food and continue with my mother to have a coffee and feed the child. 2ndly the place is filthy to be in, inside cafe is dirty from tables, floor and seats. And also baby facilities are the most disgusting part. We had to use detol wipes to clean all surfaces before changing the child and on the high chairs. This shouldn’t be acceptable in anywhere that provide a baby changing facilities.
Nice serving and great espresso. Loved interior design espesially bookshelf. I hope to come there with book after restrictions removed.
No infoor seating yet and not much outdoor either and when outdoor no cover from the Irish weather. Great coffee and sandwiches and cakes, staff ok too
Staff fabulous as always. Could do with an umbrella outside tho as it rained whilst we were drinking our coffee :-)
Lovely atmosphere, lovely coffe.
Little expensive but great set up. Very comfortable and very modern. Staff very helpful......UPDATE.... wont be back till cafe is updated and cleaned. Seats are now thread worn, tables are seldom cleared and when they are they are not wiped down. Im not basing this on 1 visit its happened on a good few occasions now. Disappointing as I really did love this place.
I think this is actually one of the best Caffè Nero cafes in the country. The interior decoration is homely and nice and a good place to bring your friends or family when visiting Drogheda, even during Covid-19 times. They have a good selection of pastries and sandwiches, so worth a visit either for a morning coffee or a late lunch / coffee break in the afternoon. Also it is open later than most places in Drogheda.
Cosy comfortable and not aver priced stuff good bit needed more the morning we were there .great place to sit and relax on centre of drogheda.
Nice place and friendly staff good coffee and good food so 5 stars 😁
I go here every Thursday because they have great coffee and a nice range of pastries, but Im really over the state of the place and the attitude problems some of the staff have. I have never not had to clean off a table Ive sat at and anytime Ive walked into the toilet, Ive walked straight back out without going because its so disgusting. Its a real shame.
Great coffee, staff always nice, well decorated, toilets normally clean
Exemplary staff, super clean. Very child friendly and really really good food and coffee for little €.
I do love the coffee and the atmosphere in this café yet I was shocked when I seen the state of their toilet, it was filthy, really put me off going in again, it made me wonder about the cleanliness of the whole establishment.... Im not sure if they are short staffed as there seems to be only two people working serving the customers, the owner should have someone to support these staff members to keep the toilets and general areas clean....
Yes yes, i could talk all day about the coffee.... but thats not what you want to hear is it? You want the low down on the real stuff! When you enter cafe nero you must catch the eye of one of the staff.. you must be confident and unwavering in your glance for only then will they know what you want. Upon seeing your hardened look they will read the message and beckon you over cautiously. In hushed tones they will offer you an arrangement of secret sauces, listen not... you are here for the only one that matters, that STICKY BROWN SAUCE. A large ladle is scooped from a simmering and sticky pot, dishing out a viscous mouthfull of that sticky brown goodness. You slather away as they pour this sticky ooze into your wanting mouth. Just when you have almost had your fill they swiftly pull the ladle away. You grimace in pain as your thirst has not yet been quenched. You long for more.... this is the secret of the sticky brown sauce. 5 stars
Ive tasted better coffee but its not bad. Nice café though and lovely staff.
Lovely coffee, really nice staff, a good vibe to sit alone drink a beverage and do work/read a book! They also play old school jazz!
Great coffee and atmosphere. Friendly baristas. Very clean however there is an overpowering rotten smell within the place. Couldnt stay too long there as its stomach churning.
Great Coffee, best almond croissant Ive ever had!
Amazing coffee, I spend a lot of time there drinking my chocolate milano or double espresso. I would like to suggest chocolate milano, it is a good one.
No scones today 😟 banana loaf a bit stale. Lovely service great coffee.
Quite good coffee but at a price that you would expect in a high street coffee shop. Pastries were tasty but a wee bit pricey.
fast & Friendly staff and great choice of cakes & buns & coffee!!
Always a great place to enjoy coffee, staff are always on point with drinks.
Lovely and Relaxing place to sit and have a good coffee and a chat.Staff very friendly. Highlyrecommend.
Always friendly , casual place. Wide range of coffees and hot chocolate to die for. Relaxing with armchairs and wooden tables
Caffè Nero is just a top class coffee house. If your are coffee head like myself I think you will love it. Decor is testy , service is good , and coffee is great. Sit and chill and with a book or just chat with a friend.
Love the coffee and excellent service. Great staff. Only problem today aircon on.and too cold to sit for long.
Nice and cosy caffee
Love the atmosphere, friendly staff and good quality coffee. This place is quite big so you can either mix with the crowd or find a quiet place and relax.
"Easy like a Sunday morning". Great place to enjoy delicious coffee, switch off, relax and read my book. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love the rustic style and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
