Had a wonderful experience. Sat at the bar, Jill the bartender was amazing and the owner Marco is pleasant and engaging. Enjoy their specials which was their Autumn Salad and Lobster roll. Will definitely return + they have entertainment nightly.

Disappointing. Romantic anniversary dinner spoiled by noise. We could not talk to each other across the table. food was quite good and service friendly. But noise from surrounding tables was horrible.

Great Italian food is served here. Marcos Mothers Sunday Sauce is outstanding. Wonderful crew inside makes you feel right at home. The service is excellent.

The food is always great. They will make anything you request to fit your dietary needs. The drinks are excellent and there is always live entertainment.

Food and service were exceptional. Other restaurants have recently become disappointing. NaVona has been consistent.

Our favorite place, always! Home away from home Cafe Navona has been our go to place for years we love spending our birthdays and Anniversaries there. Good friends, good food, great staff. Just love Marco, Alison, Evan ,Jill and Leanne! Best of the best ❤️

Amazing Italian food!! My husband and I absolutely love going here (and taking out food too)! The atmosphere is so homey and everything we’ve ever tried is delicious!! I’m giving a 5 star because I love this place however the customer service lacks a lot! The waiters and waitresses are sweet and try their best but the management and (whoever answers the phonescould be a little nicer to people who aren’t just “regulars”. Overall we love this restaurant!

This place is a gem! My wife recently brought me here to celebrate my birthday. Wow, I was impressed. Food quality is exceptional, service was very good. Highly recommended.

We were really disappointed in our last experience here.We have been here so many times. Food is great, owner is super friendly, and most of the staff is nice. The blonde bar tender always has a sour and rude personality, so we steer clear of her. And we have heard her being nasty to other employees.However, we called this past weekend and were told they had no spots open. Mind you we always eat here on Saturdays and have NEVER made a reservation. We drove by and the parking lot was empty, so we pulled in. No one was occupying the tables outside and when we went inside and asked for a table the girl, who hardly spoke English, told us they had no seats. The entire bar area was empty... booths and bar itself, no one was outside, and there were maybe 4 tables in the dining room filled. She kept staring at the reservation book that had 4 names printed on it, and kept telling us they had nothing available. The restaurant was basically empty and we had no issues sitting at the bar or outside (both of which were completely emptyand kept being told no.We left and went to another Italian restaurant in the area and are seriously reconsidering this as our spot based off this interaction.EDIT:We gave this place another shot last weekend and it was not good AGAIN. The waitstaff was rude, we didnt have the same person wait on us not once, and we heard the staff talking rudely and negatively about the owner and other staff members. I am so disappointed in the new pattern at this restaurant. We never felt so unwelcome at a place before.

Went here for a relatives bday. I just had appetizers but everything was made using homemade ingredients service was excellent I highly recommend it

Terrible experience celebrating our anniversary here. Server actually told us to hurry up and order after being seated and refused to only take appetizer order first. She said the whole food order needed to be placed at one time as they need to move people in and out quickly. Who says that to customers?? Appetizer never came- we had to ask for it a second time after 30 mins. No water refills. Lasagna meal was served and whole bottom layer rubbery and inedible. No manager came out to apologize- instead food was taken away and a pasta dish arrived with a side ricotta to mix in and make it like lasagna. At this point my husband was finished with his meal and now mine arrives. Such a shame-used to enjoy this restaurant. Won’t be returning after being treated so poorly.

Terrific restaurant great food with prices less than you would expect for such a high caliber establishment. You must be willing to put up with the noise level as it is very crowded due to its popularity.

Called to place a pickup order on a Monday at 6pm they ignored my first phone call it went to voicemail so I called back and the lady over the phone answered very rudely and said “YEAH HELLO WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?” To which I replied “I would like to place a pickup order” and she screamed back into the phone “we are too busy for that tonight good luck” hung up in my face before I could even respond. That is possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever received over the phone and completely disrespectful and dismissive I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Shame because I was excited to try them from their reviews. I’ll spend my hard earned money where they value all business equally not just whomever is in front of them. This isn’t how your run a business or treat customers who just wanted to place an order for dinner.

Always a great time at Caffe NaVona. The artichoke is the best as is the Brussel sprouts! Sometimes we just stop for cocktails and sometimes dinner. Its a must if you are in the area

Had a delicious dinner here for my mom’s birthday! Would highly recommend the Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce, but everything we ordered was delicious. It’s also a nice touch with the complimentary bread and bruschetta for the table. Will definitely come back here!

You don’t find amazing customer service these days but tonight me and my family did at Caffe Navona. The owner and staff where friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and we loved the outdoor patio. Definitely a must try.

We are customers of 20 + years. Whenever we have a chance to celebrate an event or have the urge for Italian dining, we make a reservation near the piano on the bar side of the restaurant. There are also two other rooms and two outside patios and plenty of parking.The specials are always so tasty your mouth explodes with flavors.On Friday we had the (melt in your mouth Osso Bucco and it was amazing: the sauce mixing with the risotto is so flavorful. Our other dish was the pork chop ...so juicy you must try it.When you eat in your typical restaurant -and I mean your go-to places- the staff is assigned locations and they tend to stay in their area. You get good service but... Here, no matter what category of employee walks past your table, if they see something that might need attention, they stop and check with you or if you are talking they just do it. Even if its something as simple as topping off your water glass. The point is everyone services you all through your stay.If havent been, then you need to make that call !

Wonderfully prepared meals appetizers and salads. Fabulous wine list. The owner Marco has such a wonderful personality makes everybody feel like family.

if you sit at the bar there is only one bartender and if you ask her is she doing alright because she visibly looks overwhelmed she’ll tell you your annoying and that people only care about getting drinks. Very nasty won’t be back. Just get a booth and eat the food is good.

Fantastic food, gentle warm atmosphere and the service is excellent. Every single item on the menu, the bruschetta, the salad, the appetizers, the entrees and the desserts are all wonderful. We drive over 2 hours to get here but always make a weekend of it in NYC. Live music and friendly staff never disappoint. Our all-time favorite Italian restaurant, including Italy itself. Excellent!

Went for the first time it was on my list of places to check out for a while….went to late lunch/early dinner, we sat down they brought us fresh toasted bread with a bruschetta on the side without even asking! and waters, I got a delicious chicken sandwich with perfectly cooked potatoes on the side, I tried the cappuccino it was delicious, also tried the special dessert chocolate flan it was amazing….service was great and food was great I will be back, highly recommended

Marco does a fantastic job of making you feeling welcomed and at home. The food is top rate. I rarely get to stop in but Marco always remembers that I love cognac and brandy. Always has a snifter for me within minutes of being seated. He never forgets. The sausage positano is delicious. I usually get the steak Monte bianco. Definitely recommend

My first time to the restaurant itself and second time having their food. The first time, my job had food that the owner donated to our hospital unit during COVID and it was delicious! So my wife and I decided to go earlier today to try it out in person and cant wait to go back again. Its nice to have found a cozy, authentic Italian spot here in Morris County that is excellent. From the moment you walk through the door to the ambiance and friendliness of the servers.We ordered insallata frutte de mare for appetizer and entrees were sesame tuna & veal saltimbocca. For dessert, my mother makes an amazing ricotta cheesecake and my dad a limoncello cheesecake. So we decided to try out their limoncello cheesecake and I must say it came pretty close! It was light, tangy and balanced out just perfectly.I look forward to returning again and recommend this spot if youre in the area.

Our group of friends was thinking were to go for dinner after Valentine’s Day, which we decided Feb 16th. With a lot of good choices of restaurants, we end up in Caffe NaVona. Most of us was our first time in this restaurant, except one of our friend. It was a very cozy place but last night was a bit crowded but everyone was able to get seated. You need a reservation.There’s a guy singing with his guitar.We ordered our drinks, we had Sangria and beer, sparkling water. 😊 For our appetizers, we ordered, Calamari with balsamic and Eggplant Fritters. Awesome choices, delizioso! 😋For our main courses, Scallop Volpi, Pork Chop and Veal Saltimbocca, everything is delicious. Just a little of critic on the Scallop Volpi, kind of a little salty. Maybe just me. 😊 For our desserts, we have Creme Brûlée and Limoncello cake with coffee espresso. Service is very good, the waiters and servers are all very nice. Very much and highly recommended. We had a great time and good dinner in a cozy place. 👍👍

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NJ., and definitely one of the BEST! Being raised in the restaurant business, I realize that I am very picky when it comes to fine dining, but Cafe NaVonna never disappoints me, it is consistently great! You truly can see that the owner Marco, and his staff take pride in their establishment and that is very hard to find these days. The “specials” are always my first choice. Some of my favs are their crab cakes, calamari Bronzino, Chicken Spada Verde, and Scallops Volpe. I always love to end dinner with one of their homemade desserts. Oh Simply deliziosa!We can’t wait to go back!

This place was high on my lists to try. Service and drinks were amazing but the loud obnoxious banging coming from the kitchen the whole hour kind of ruined the mood of our Valentines dinner date. My fiancé loved the shrimp risotto but my chicken was just ok.

Always a favorite place for a delicious meal with a delightful atmosphere. Weve had many family events here... everyone of them was a success. I love the lasagne and the salmon dishes. My husband enjoys the steak or the shrimp dishes. Marco and staff are welcoming and attentive hosts.

My overall experience here was great but probably more so because of the company and atmosphere than anything else. The food was good nothing bad to say about it but Ive had better. I got the crab cakes over risotto. I liked that the crab cakes tasted fresh and mostly like crab meat no real filler. The risotto was nice. Well cooked but there was just something missing in the dish. My wife got the Orrechiette with broccolirabe and sausage which she said was well cooked as well but a little bland. Healthy servings on everything. The staff was super nice and pleasant very helpful but I think a little training would take this restaurant to the next level they were a little sloppy with not knowing who ordered what and placing glasses down in precarious spots that could easily be knocked into if clients arent paying attention. I am definitely coming back here.

Came here for a private wedding rehearsal dinner event. They have a cute back room you can rent out for private events. The staff is very professional and friendly. There is an 82 year old piano playing man on the weekends who is fantastic. Clean bathrooms. The chicken parm and drinks were amazing.

I traveled 45minutes to try Caffe Navona with my boyfriend, because he previously met the owner and was welcomed to come to his establishment. The atmosphere is awesome, as you have the choice of eating outside or inside. We came at dinner time, and the lighting on the outside patio looked beautiful. The restaurant also had live music, which made the night even better. The service was awesome and you can tell all the workers care about their customers. Mostly every worker who passed our table checked and asked my boyfriend and I were we okay. Additionally, I have to praise the owner. He is a wonderful, kind, and welcoming person. My boyfriend told me he goes to every table and introduce himself and make sure his customers feel welcomed and are enjoying themselves(which I experienced for myself). You can tell his staff is great because they feed off of his personality! Furthermore, the food was also great! For appetizers we had the eggplant fritters, shrimp arlecchino (both my new favesand the NY steak sandwich. They all were delicious and the shrimp arlecchino came with jumbo shrimp on top of sauteed spinach in this creamy sauce that was soo good! And the NY strip steak sandwich was amazing and so fulfilling! Likewise, we too orderd the meat lasagna and Steak Montebianco with a side of italian rice (risottoand for dessert we had the chocolate gelato. Everything was wonderful! Will definitely be returning!

Very good food & excellent service. Average/competively priced. Nice ambiance, decor, etc. Can go dressed up or casual & will fit in regardless. Good for a date, family night out, or celebration. Will go back as often as I can!
