Good coffee, great vibes, fresh croissant and friendly staff

Pretty and busy café in the center of Lausanne with vintage decoration and a smiling staff. They always have a couple of vegetarian/or vegan options on the menu. The food was ok. ⚠️ they don’t take reservation.

Super pour aller boire un verre. Service au top. Les serveuses sont super sympas. Par contre une fois jai pris des entrées pour accompagner nos verres. Les photos parlent delles-mêmes: une tomate et une burata pour 13 CHF cest assez abusé quand même. La Tapenade est super bonne mais le prix excessif lui aussi. Pour les boissons ça va. Donc je reviendrai pour un verre mais pas pour manger.

Viel kann ich über dieses Café nicht sagen, hatte nur einen Aperol Spritz dort, aber der war richtig gut!

C’est à l’occasion de sa réouverture, sous de nouveaux atours, en 2012, que cet établissement du quartier artisanal du Rôtillon a repris son nom d’origine…Cuisine raffinée et subtile, décors colorés et vintage, personnel très jeune et dynamique…Terrasse, sur le trottoir, particulièrement attrayante les jours de marché ( la circulation étant coupée).Adresse à retenir absolument 💓Leur café avec boule de glace est une véritable tuerie !!!

Les bières sont à 9.5 chf, le prix est tout simplement scandaleux. Le ticket était plus élevé que nos consommations, une erreur, ça peut arriver mais je le note quand même. Sinon lendroit est sympa et la serveuse plutôt sympathique.

Outre à être un lieu sympa, soit le personnel que le cadre, avec plein dautres qualités sur les menus et les à-côtés, aujourdhui je fais la promotion de leur chocolat chaud. Le meilleur que jaie bu à Lausanne. Et pour compléter ce commentaire, jajouterais que cest aussi agréable de prendre un petit café dans cadre reposant!!

Quel endroit sympathique! Du petit déjeuner au souper. Menu très varié, ingrédients frais et bien préparés. Excellent, y compris les desserts. Je ne sais pas pour les autres jours mais le samedi, cest une vrai ruche. Ça déborde dénergie mais de très bonne humeur.

Best place to eat and drink in Lausanne!

I came to this restaurant, expecting to have a good time with my colleagues, but it turned out to be a nightmare...The food itself was good, but the service was just horribly slow and very disappointing. The staffs were not attentive and not welcoming at all.We were completely ignored during the whole eveing and had to call them every single time we needed something. We waited more than an hour to get our dishes served... not a single word of apology...The staffs, especially the young waitress, just gave us the impression that they hated their job and didnt want to be there.Its really a shame because the service used to be very friendly and attentive before, and that was the reason we picked this place for our afterwork dinner. This time the charm and the welcoming atmosphere were completly gone.I actually would give a 4-star for the beef tartare and affogato that I had, but the horrible service and the super long wait just destroyed it all.

La petite carte permet de leffort en cuisine et cest très apprécié. Jamais été déçu :la quantité de viande (ongletest limite le café gourmand est un peu light par rapport à dautres restaurants.

What an exquisite experience. We came for dinner and we enjoy every single part of this place from beginning to end. Lovely terrace in center Lausanne with a very attentive and friendly staff. But now about the food. Theres an one page menu and yet every dish sounds so delicious, it took us some time to decide. We had the burrata and tomatoes carpaccio for starters and perch and tartar for main dishes. The portions are well balanced, all products were good quality and well seasoned. The entire tasty was just a senses delight. The ice cream is locally made, not to sweet, not too creamy, just perfect. I strongly recommend the cheesecake which was simply heaven. They will have a unique selection of wines to recommend you with the food and well made cocktails. We are looking forward to go back again, thank you!

Très bonne nourriture mais service un peu dépassé.Jai mangé un très bon plat végétarien avec courgette et tofu ainsi que aubergines. Cest bien cuisiné et présenté.Je suis allé manger à midi et il manquait clairement de personnel.Un plat du jour annoncé mais on ne connaît pas le prix, le reste de la carte oscille à 30CHFLa terrasse est assez grande, lintérieur un peu petit mais belle décoration.

Amazing food! Deserts worth it, especially blanc mangue noir fraise. Ribs were great. Beef tartare is perfect. Service is quick. They even speak decent English and have an English menu.

They have not bad food, and nice drinks. Not bad service, pretty cozy.

We just stopped by for a quick snack but ended up eating dinner.I was positively surprised by all meals. We had steak and duck. Especially the duck stood out. It was perfectly prepared. Each ingredient was nicely prepared and felt qualitatively good.Yes, it is a bit pricey, however they are in line with the other restaurants nearby. But with the big difference that they actually provide a food experience that you cannot easily make yourself at home. That is what counts for me and that is why I happily recommend this place.Would I go again? Yes, definitely.

Les plats ont du goût et sont faits-maison. Les prix ne sont pas donnés. Lintérieur est très bruyant, je conseille plutôt de viser la terrasse en été.

Simply a great place in warm weather. Havent been there in winter when terrace is closed so cant comment about enclosed service, ambiance or comfort.

Recently visited for an evening snack during Fete de la musique. The atmosphere was decidedly special because of the artists singing outside, which enriched the place. Although packed, the place is cool and the ambience inviting. The staff were patient and relaxed and guided us through the menu, with good advice. Food is great, with a great combination of flavors, without being overly complicated. Local beers wonderfully compliment the place and the food. Would love to come back also during the day.
