Cafe Yehoshua - Restaurant in Jerusalem, Israel
Cafe Yehoshua in Jerusalem
Description
Privilege
It was my birthday, we went there with the kids. The place was crowded, but the service was great. We had Hamburger, home made susseges and salads, all food was delicious. Not very special But well made.
MoreThe perfect place. I was in charge of finding the night’s fare in Jerusalem and was looking for a light menu with drinks….Cafe Yehoshua more than delivered! Inventive and delicious cocktails (Pink Lady which is on the dry side & Spicy Margarita-both fabulous!), shrimp in a garlic broth with vibrant tomatoes for an entree, veggie bowl and the chicken schnitzel. All delivered by lovely staff in a warm venue. This is a neighborhood gem as evidenced by the eclectic mix of patrons that streamed in over time.I was drawn by a review that mentioned a light menu but they left out the decadent desserts….bring more friends or enjoy alone with stretchy pants🤭 but don’t miss out on this incredible cafe!
MoreThe Pepperoni in the Egg’s Benedict was very salty. The dish has a lot of cream sauce.
MoreGreat service, great food, very kids friendly.
Amazing food! Waitress was so pleasant! I told the waitress I wanted two things so she helped me find a mini option for the pancakes. So kind and very attentive. I saw great reviews for this cafe so I had to come and they were correct! If you are in Jerusalem come here :)
MoreVery nice, unique drinks. I never had a Mojita (with Tequila...). Friendly personell!
MoreVery friendly Staff! Great breakfast!
Great food, super friendly staff, calm atmosphere
Great service & good vibe. One of the best chicken sandwiches Ive had (great crunch & flavor). Loved the bar vibe & attentive staff
MoreFor Jerusalmites, Cafe Yehoshua is a culinary institute.Whether you dine in or order a delivery, the food is rich and tasty. The place is very pleasant. Good service.Even their deliveries were always on time, hot and delicious, comforting many locals.Dont miss their Schnitzels.
MoreI finally found a Philly cheese steak in Jerusalem! Awesome!
Everything here is exactly as it should be, except the slightly pricey menu.Good food, good service, nice vibe.
MorePerfect Spot, cozy atmosphere, very delicious food menu, and friendly staff!!Highly Recommended!!
MoreOne word: Shakshuka. If the rest of the menu is anywhere near as good as the shakshuka was, you are in for a treat! Cafe Yehoshua staff were great.I was enjoying the shakshuka so much I was worried I was making noises similar to the ones Meg Ryan was making in When Harry met Sally!Cafe Yehoshua gets multiple stars, or whatever the scale is!Show quoted text---Marcus James
MoreLoved everything about cafe yehoshua. Loved the atmosphere, the service, the English breakfast with mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, potatoes and fried eggs, and of course delicious sausages. The benidict breakfast was also good. Last of all the music was perfect
MoreVery nice place with delicious dishes. Very crowded. No parking. Not kosher.
Great food and lovely service.. Dishes went out quickly and atmosphere was great.. The pappardella was not a big sucess but not affecting the overall experience
MoreSmall, but popular cafe in Rehavia neighborhood. The food was good and the service was efficient. The place is pretty expensive, so prepare your wallet
MoreThis restaurant has a rich menu and high quality service. We were very happy with the dishes served, especially the hamburgers which were very high quality meat.
MoreFriendly waiters and very tasty non-kosher food. The short ribs and the shrimps dishes are my favourites.
MoreGreat service and atmosphere! We were surprised by how kid friendly the place was since its vibe is young and hip.The dishes were delicious and very generous, and the menu had a wide range of choices
MoreGreat food! Great staff.
Very good restaurant with a nice vibe, but we had to wait about 15 minutes for service. Afterwards the food was served quickly. And is was delicious!
MoreWe had to wait for about 20 minutes to be served, but after that everything went well and the waitress was kind. I liked the vibe of the restaurant, it feels fun and young. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed every dish :)
MoreA very cozy place with an excellent variety of food, suitable for everyone- meat, dairy and vegan.Their hamburger and sausage are finger-licking delicious!Tiny disadvantage- the prices are relatively high. But then again, the food is of high quality and its definitely worth the money. Well done!
MoreA cozy non-kosher cafe in Rehavia, Jerusalem with high quality homemade food, pleasant ambiance and smiling waitresses. They have a business lunch 👉 order the main course and get the first one for free.Discount on beer and wine during a lunch.#foodinisrael #restinisrael #lenarestrecall #едавизраиле #ленагидизраиль_еда
MoreDelicious food, great vibes,great music.
The service is nice and attentive. They have a kids manu and some colors for the kids to draw with, which is nice. We got the recommended schnitzel and the Philly Cheese Steak and loved the latter much better, although the portions arent big
MoreThis is one of my favorite places to eat in Jerusalem. Its not kosher, which for me is a must. The perfect time to visit is after the menu changes from breakfast to dinner (12:00), but before the loud bar-like music of the evening (20:00 maybe? Im not sure). The highlights are definitely the veal schnitzel, and the burger with asado meat. Both are very common dishes, but they are better here than in most places. The french toast and pancakes are also exceptional.
MoreExcellent place to eat or have a drink. Tasty non kosher food, with some very good pastas, salads or sandwiches. Prices are relatively high. Service was quite good, quick and attentive. While we waited for a place to sit, grapefruit juice was served.Worth more than one visit to explore more of the menu!
MoreSurprising and creative menu, excellent cooking and warm service. Might just be the best casual restaurant in Jerusalem. Plus - not kosher.
MoreNice place to eat or just have a drink. Staff really friendly.
We went for breakfast and got the pancakes and the Yehoshua breakfast. The pancakes were dry, we could not eat more than half. The eggs were good but I was really disappointed when I tried the orange juice and was not a fresh one!!Too expensive for what they offer.
MoreOne of the last standing non kosher restaurants in this part of Jerusalem once a prominent secular areas, you’ll enjoy this place so much as it has good service and a versatile crowd, IPA on tap and other local beers and delicious food highly recommended for eating and for the bar scene.
MoreProbably the best breakfast in Jerusalem. Great service, creative dishes and a great atmosphere
MoreWe came at mid day, mid day, with a stroller. You got us a table, you were super welcoming, super nice. Food was wonderful! You were so patient and nice with our messy kids. We had a blast! Thank you!
MoreMagical pearl in the heart of Jerusalem. This caffee has been around for decades, and has been able to keep its character through the ages. From morning moms and liberal-arts students, through your local government officials it is a sweet relaxed escape that offers a visitor a taste of what the locals consider their respite.
MoreGreat service, great atmosphere, delicious variety of salads in the israeli breakfast!Expensive but worth it!
MoreFood is amazing and delicious. You can’t go wrong with friends or a date here.
There arent many non kosher restaurants in Jerusalem, so Cafe Yehoshua should be applauded just gor that, but in addition the have a super professional and friendly staff and really unique tasty dishes that cant be found in other cafes in the area. Great menu.
MoreAmazing food and great atmosphere. Rare in Jerusalem
Ive tried their breakfast meal and it was wonderful, filled with a variety of salads and appetizers which made the perfect combination with their tasty omelet.the two things I would complain about are the juice which comes with the meal and the pancakes dessert.First, they put so much effort into making a great meal so its only suitable to serve it with freshly squeezed fruit juices or at least give the customer the option to upgrade. Second, the pancakes were so simple with nothing special about them that it ended being a disappointment after eating the meal.
MoreWent to have coffee and conversation to kill 45 minutes. Sat at the bar where I had great service and some very good (hotdrinks. Also had a good time gabbing with the bartender and another patron. Promised to come back one night for a whiskey. Would recommend.
MoreDelicious!! I had my birthday here and the hot apple cider is amazing!!!!!! We also ordered a pumpkin, and it was mushy but good, you know? Then we had my brothers birthday dinner here and he had a great time! then, he fell asleep with a cinnamon stick from this restaurant in his mouth in our car on the way home! He wouldn’t give it back to us in the morning when he woke up!! Even in his bed!! Haha! Then we had Mother’s Day here, and my mom loved the place. She loved her food and we all did too!
MoreThis place is a mini Tel-Aviv in the midst of Jerusalem. You might have to wait for a table but the food (Pancakes!atmosphere and service are worth it. Too bad the outdoor seating is a meter away from a busy road. A little garden or portch would make this place near perfect.
MoreGreat place.Very busy on Friday mornings. We come here again and again.Breakfast and lunch.Original dishes. We enjoy it very much.
MoreLike this place. Foods not kosher , which is a benefit sometimes and the environment is always inviting. wheter youre on a first date or youre a family coming to eat weekday dinner, its the right place for you. Foods selection is wide - from the most simple cheese toast through diner dishes or more sophisticated stuff. Do notice its always packed, so you might wait a little for a table
MoreThis one of the best coffee shops/bars in Jerusalem. It has a local atmosphere but welcoming to all. The menu is interesting and original and each dish is done with a lot of passion. For the veggies I reccomand the Cheddar toast salad.
MoreMy favorite restaurant in the city. Great atmosphere, amazing service and delicious food. Especially I adore the "hard boiled egg mini-club" for a quick breakfast and their excellent business lunch. Also a great place to have a drink and hang out with friends. Highly recommended!!
MoreWe enjoyed this place so much we came back again and again. The food there is great, with many interesting options to choose from for children and adults alike. But where it really stands apart is the friendly service! Everything we requested was immediately provided for with a smile!I cannot recommend this cafe enough. A must visit for anyone in Jerusalem!!
