Cafe Pur:Pur - Georgian restaurant in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Awesome food place with great decor. Recommended!
Good food and very nice ambians.
Most of the food was nice and the interior is wonderful but the service was a bit cold.
They go by the name Papuri now. Intimate dining atmosphere. Im not really a wine drinker but I enjoyed their house wine. Waitstaff are pleasant and can get your orders with no problems even if you cant speak Russian.
I had read many good things about this place before which made me come here. So my expectations were high. The place looks very cozy outside as well inside. There was only 1 table left, and that was a table with cheap terrace chairs, noticeably different than the other tables. When it comes to the Georgian food, it was delicious but not wow to be honest. I had much better food at lower prices in Kyrgyzstan honestly.Prices are quite expensive for Bishkek, and taking into account that we were seated at cheap terrace chairs, was not the best impression.
Nice Georgian restaurant, good shish cabab and skewers, good Georgian wine and chacha
Delicious mushroom khinkali and khachapuri adjaruli! And Georgian wine, of course. There are vegetarian friendly dishes
My favourite restaurant in Bishkek. The food is great, the service is very good, and the ambience is pleasant and romantic. Nice place for a date too.
This place is small gem! So cozy and old style interior! Love this place, suggest for everyone
Amazing Gregorian food, must try if youre in Bishkek
The must go place if want to try Georgian cuisine.
Delicious Georgian food. Their specialty "khachapuri" was one my favorite dishes. The flavor and taste were identical to the national dishes.
Absolutely lovely place! A friend took us for dinner and we were warmly welcomed by the owners. The entire place felt cosy and romantic with low lighting and wonderfully eclectic decorations. The food was incredible, so many options for vegetarians! Would visit tomorrow if I could!
The most famous Georgian cousine spot in Bishkek. We like the food and service.
Very nice place, the food is delicious, friendly atmosphere ...all recommendations
Good place, had a great time with my friends.
Strangely enough out of so much choice I always interchangeably order same dishes: khachapuri, pkhali assorti, spinach salad, borscht, chicken in garlic sauce and of course the khinkali. These are my favorite.
If you are tired of plov and lagman, this is a great place to enjoy something different and absolutely delicious!
The decor inside the restaurant is cozy, vintage, and artsy. The music selection is great. The service was ok. The trout wrapped in grape leave was cooked very well. The lobio (bean stewwas tasty but served sort of cold. The ice cream was way too frozen, and it was actually yogurt of some sort, not good at all. The corn flat bread was hot but with no flavor and super dry (not my preference). The food and service, not really worth the price in my opinion. I liked the decor/ambiance the most however.
Delicious Georgian fancy restaurant!
We liked this restaurant a lot. Nice decoration. The waitress was very attentive. They serve delicious Georgian wine. We have been to Tbilisi several times, and it was nice to taste the flavours of Georgia, such as the Kinhhali, eggplant with nuts, loboli, and spinach salad. We were wondering whether there is a connection with the great restaurant Purpur in Tbilisi?
Quality Georgian restaurant with all the anticipated dishes. Khinkhali was especially good. Highly recommend. Vegetarian friendly.
Very quiet experience after a long day walking around the city, the interior lighting was well made, soft music and good food. If you are lactose intolerant ask for the Georgian national desert made of grape juice and walnuts! Very tasty
Visted this restaurant this restaurant last month as a treat, given it is more expensive than where I usually go. I ordered the classic Kachapuri, salad and local beer.Having been to Georgia, I was pretty disappointed by the kachapuri which was dry and quiet bland, similar to the ones they sell at bus stations in Georgia for a tenth of the price. The "local beer" turned out to be Efes and cost over 3 times more than from a nearby a pub or shop. The salad however was very nice.Service was good but absolutely not worth the 15% surcharge.Overall a nice restaurant, only worth the trip if it were half as expensive.
Very cozy Georgian restaurant in Bishkek. Come here for delicious food and a great atmosphere, and make sure to try one of their Georgian wines!
I love the ambiance of this restaurant. Feels like youre in a Georgian restaurant. Food is good. Their chachapuri is my favorite.
Delicious food and great interior. Small minus for the service, they always bring the bill before we ask for it and it made me feel like I have to leave.
Large servings of Georgian food in a nice atmosphere. English menu available.
Great food, very passive service. Even though we took 3 liters of house wine we all agreed it was some kind of juice with spirits. No actual taste of real grape wine in any way. For our group we had to pay an extra fee for a private room - what for we have no idea. I mean, same food, same service. What did we pay for?All in all, nice atmosphere and food but be prepared to pay for everything little thing and get annoyed by all the extra charges. We rarely come to Pur Pur because of the extras, today was a reminder why, but the food was good. Too bad a Georgian restaurant cant serve decent wine.
Very good indeed. Excellent mix with Georgian food and european. Very tasty shashlyk. Excellent soup harcho. Hachapuri po Adjarski. Would come here again. No problem!
Pur:pur is an unsuspected delight in a city that at first glance doesn’t have much to offer. This Georgian restaurant is a genuine gem. Cuisine, decor, atmosphere and staff are in a league of their own for the true high quality of their craft. This restaurant has soul and the spectacular enchantment start as you step-in.If you come to Bishkek, this is the place you put at the top of your to-do-list.
Nice place to visit. Very good food and atmosphere.
Bit over the top decoration, but it makes this place feel like a lovely, cosy restaurant. The food is really good and the service excellent. Try the red house wine; its great and cheap!
Spacious covered patio hides the wonderfully decorated interior spaces. Food is all wonderful and authentically Georgian
Great food, atmosphere and service.Plenty of options for vegetarians. Recommended for all.
Food was great! Service could have been a bit better.
This restaurant really impressed me. The food is truly authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is low key and jazzy. Prices are moderate. I would recommend it.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Lights on the mens bathroom were not working.
Weve got intoxicated with salmonella after eating chicken. Be aware of this place.
This restaurant serves Georgian food (not the GE, US Georgia, of coursein an authentic family surrounding of a home somewhere in Tbilisi. Pros: lots of tables ranging from tables for two to small banquet rooms designed for a dozen or more people, good food, a decent selection of vegetarian food enough to walk out really full. Cons: can get somewhat crowded and noisy in the evenings; old chairs add some charm, but are not too comfortable to sit on; strange opening hours (starting at 1500h or smth. like this), consecutively, no lunches. Make sure you call and reserve a table Priced slightly above average for Bishkek, but not bad at all. Overall, a good place to experience Georgian food away from Georgia!
Great ambiance. Food was amazing. Recommend the house wine
great food and atmosphere! one of my favorite places.
Excellent Georgian restaurant in Bishkek. Nice atmosphere, great food, excellent wine, great service. Very nice khachapuris, delicious meat -based meals. Recommended to book in advance since it can be busy in the evening. Definitely recommended while visiting Bishkek.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, great service. The decor is interesting. Reasonable prices and great homemade wine!
Cafe pur:pur is the place late to dine. Its popular for chinese dishes. Always quiet not much crowded. Not much popular in youth. No wheelchair specified parking.
What an amazing restraunt, food is made with love. Friendly environment. Staff is very good. If you going to visit Bishkek then this should be the first thing in your list if you really love food.
Super nice restaurant and welcoming staff. Food was tasty (pumpkin soup!and plenty of.
This place is fantastic! It has the great interior made in the retro Soviet style big band era music in background adds to the ambience and makes your experience unforgettable.Food is exceptional. Everything we ordered was delicious, dishes were of a big size, the restaurant dont cheat you on meat or other ingredients. And last but not least they know what the good service is!!!!! Which is a mystery to many places in Bishkek.Hands down! My favourite restaurant in Bishkek. And the owner was very welcoming and friendly woman!
Great food, good central location, nice interrior! If you are a fan of Georgian cuisine, its the place where you should go. Probably the best shashlyk in Bishkek.
