Great food and great service

Amazing food! Tasted great!

The food is good, management is spectacular, but only maybe half the servers actually care about… well, anything really. Service all around is extremely slow- we’re taking almost 10 mins to get a drink and 20-45 mins for food. If this restaurant wasn’t in our hotel, we wouldn’t have frequented as much as we did, but it was convenient.

Staff was very friendly but the wait is super long service is super slow. Food is mediocre at best.

Our first stay at the Doubletree led us to cafe Pierre which we thought would be fine. We waited to take our orders back to our rooms. The wait was long as the bartender took forever to give us the order. It was about 35 minutes. The bar was not busy. When we got our food back to our room, the food was not warm, it was cold.Tonight we thought we would give it another try, well tonight they burned our food and offered a complimentary drink. We have been here over an hour now. We don’t want a complimentary drink, as we already paid for one.I would avoid this convenience of having a cafe in the hotel and go someplace else. Go anyplace else, there are lots of other restaurants only minutes away. Just in case they say they were busy, there were never more than 7 people in the cafe, while we waited.

Had my first ever Mofongo here. Loved it!!! The pasta was good too.

It took an hour to get a Cuban Sandwich, and the wrong Cauliflower Wings (I ordered buffalo, and got some asian flavored onesdelivered to my room, which is a 20 second walk away since it was to my balcony around the pool area.Just save yourself the frustration and use Uber eats. Its much faster and cheaper, since they charge you $6 to bring it to your room.

This café was awesome. Great food, great drinks, and super chic decor. My fiancé and I took a trip to San Juan for his 25th birthday and we visited this café on three different occasions; all of the servers were so kind and welcoming. Mr. Pabón the manager is king of hospitality. Incredible personality, took the time chat with us and make us really feel welcome in San Juan.

Me encanto el plateo nuestra mesera fue muy atenta. El espacio estaba bien llevando en cuenta la pandemia. En fin cumplieron con mis expectativas y más.

Great service and excellent food. Mr Pabon described us with passion and certainty the dishes before we ordered. I loved my spinach salad with purple onions, cherry tomatoes, caramelized nuts and a magnificent homemade dressing; it came with a marvelous salmon that was perfect in texture and flavor. I also tried our friends sauteed potatoes and they were delicious. I recommend this place to dine-in, carry-out and catering. Atmosphere is splendid, Ive been there to have a nice time with friends and also to work with my laptop (plugs and wifi available).

Great experience at Cafe Pierre. The carne frita (fried pork chunkswere perfect. The ceviche was huge and amazing, and the skirt streak marinated in tamarind was awesome.Very good drinks, too. Reasonable prices for a hotel restaurant. Great staff, very friendly and professional. Would recommend.

Horrible food horrible service

We went on a Sunday, and apparently, although they serve lunch, the dine in part of the restaurant was closed by noon. This was most unfortunate. They did serve us to go, and the food was very good.

Nice and clean , with a great set up and interior decoration. Food was good, bit the rice was hard, but the chef apologized and made it over a little better, good place overall, I recommend it.

Wasn’t a huge fan of this place. The breakfast we had was quite bland. Should’ve gotten the continental breakfast instead. I think I was hoping for more of a Puerto Rican breakfast and instead got a classic American bland breakfast. If you’re a guest in the hotel, I’m sure it’s a connivence. For us, we walked in from our condo and wasn’t impressed

Friendly staff and really good food. But I have to say the Mamposteao was phenomenal. Honestly best I’ve ever had. Me fascinó!

Theres no trip to P.R, that I wont be there for dinner. Every time they amazed me with something delicious.We order the ceviche and the pasta with pesto sauce and shrimps OMG it was so delicious.Siempre una experiencia extraordinaria comer aqui, atentos y la comida Over the top! Tables werent very clean. Selection was poor. Had to eat with plastic spoons and forks.Edit 2020/12/18: Dear Owner, my name is Bert, not Brett. This lack of attention to detail from your side is exactly why the restaurant you own is unclean.

Delicious food with a latin twist. An excellent and friendly staff.

Located inside DoubleTree hotel, pretty small and targeting mostly hotel guests. If youre getting room with the breakfast option, this would be the place.Fast and friendly service, selection is ok although you may expect more from such place considering its inside 4* hotel.If youre staying in the hotel - worth to get the breakfast option. Outside that a happy hour specials from 5 PM till 8.

Nice and accessible place to have breakfast.

I had the buffet(8-11am for 20 dollars and the food was really delicious. Their homemade potaes are good. Would recommend if you are really hungry.

Came here with friends for New Years Eve dinner and was no impressed. Reservation was for 7 pm...Waited 7 min for a server to greet the table...waited another 15-20 min just for water. We were only able to order 1 beverage. Steak was under cooked and seafood was NOT fresh. After 9 pm left hungry. Wont return

I went expecting poor quality food and service but I was pleasantly surprised when I found that the food was delicious and the service though sometimes scarce was always on point.

Today is Saturday October 27th. There are two girls at the counter. They keep passing back and forth. They see Im done and neither brings the check. Usually the other girls are diligent with their service. They always ask if I need milk for coffee, and they remove my plate and bring the check etc. But these girls arent.

Execellent food and service. I always recommend it.

Very good place to eat. Ordered the Bianca pizzeta and one of their hamburgers and they were both delicious.

I ordered an appetizer of ceviche with plantain chips and a local beer, total was $20.03. The flavor was great and the beer was cold. Sadly, the staff didnt make me feel welcome, they werent rude, but they werent friendly either like they are in other hotel restaurants in the area. Ive had more attentive treatment in a motel cafeteria than in this 4 star hotel restaurant.

Food was absolutely wonderful. We had the shrimp and scallop risotto with herb and butter with wine sauce . And pina colada and strawberry daquaris. The waitresses were so awesome and knowledgeable about their menu from the food to their wonderful drinks. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food options on the menu. Everything looks so delightful.

Food is exceptionally good for a hotel lobby restaurant. Pricey as expected for a hotel. Staff is nice. Strawberry Mojito good but not worth $11. Recommend

Not bad hotel lobby restaurant and bar. Loud gringos at bar too often. Service very good. Prices normal for hotels. Some dishes were meh others were very good.
