Café Piazza - Pizza restaurant in Saint-Louis, Mauritania
Food is fantastic, I definitely recommend trying to eat here. service was good when I could get it. Ive attempted to eat here a few times and only had success getting seated once. DO NOT bother with the delivery ordering app, the full menu is not offered and the app is buggy AF. DO NOT call after 5pm , no one will answer( attempted to call in a pick up order on to separate occasions,, once at 7pm and once at 9 pm and it just rangDO NOT try to get a walk in order after 7 , you will not be seen(I waited almost 20 minutes and no one showed up to take my order )
The food is very good. The service is very bad not enough staff takes forever to get the food on the kitchen which is a shame because it is very good the atmospheres very nice doesnt mean a thing of you cant get your food
This place had some great pizzas you could get hand tossed or thicker crust and there are many unique pizzas to try here. The atmosphere is also amazing it felt kind of like eating inside of a work of art check out that awesome ceiling. Now if Mina and Yuna just didnt eat up all the appetizers first. At least they left me most of the pizza this time. The whole back half is like a giant pop culture rec room with a dozen or more pinball machines and pool tables as well as other arcade games. And darts!
We came in for lunch on a Saturday. They were still having brunch hours so bottomless mimosas was an amazing bonus. The pizza was fresh and amazing the flavors were on point. The vibe in the place is out the charts great music and the decor is vibrant
Service is slow. Food is horrible. The worse, soggy pizza I have ever had. You cant even pick a slice if it up its so limp.
You have to try the calamari, AMAZING! We love our neighborhood restaurant, one of a kind atmosphere and great food!
Anytime I get food from here it is always good. I recently had a grilled chicken panini and it was delicious. The pizza chili was good. I also got some cheese garlic bread. It was all up to par. I only had a problem once with the calamari not having enough in there but other than that no problems. Very interesting place and art hanging all around. They also have a game room in the back that looks fun.
Nice place and very friendly people. We had the spicy Italian sandwich and it was very good. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful. I ordered take out, it was fresh hot delicious and fantastic. I would order from them everyday if I could. The pizza was light, fluffy, SEASONED and full of flavor. The spinach salad was great too. I would recommend this place to everyone hands down, Go and enjoy Cafe Piazza.
Super fun spot with an entire game area in the back- find old arcade games, pool, etc. A few outdoor tables too which are great in nice weather, good pizza!
Id heard good things about it, but we ordered two margherita pizzas. One of the most signature ingredients is basil, and there were like three leaves on one of the pizzas and thats it. I was already home and didnt really want to go back, so I wasnt so happy about that.
One of the best pizzas Ive had in STL. Server was friendly and helped me pick out a good new beer to try.
Fire pizza place with tons going on including a large selection of arcade games. Plenty of pizza and drink options. Cool ambience
We found this place scrolling Google and aren’t from the area. This place is a MUST go. We got three appetizers, pizza, and dessert. Their bruschetta is the best I’ve ever had. Pizza was one of the best I’ve had. The cheesecake was literally cookbook perfect. Best food I’ve eaten in a while and customer service was great!
Got here about 1:30 on Saturday afternoon and there was a live band and place was packed! Found a seat but after waiting for rhe one overworked waiter to take our order we went to the "arcade" side where we could walk up and place order. Same overworked waiter took our order there and we lost our table! No problem. The arcade side was quieter and we could still hear the band. One family of 5 there playing pool and eating pizza. The food was absolutely delicious! We each had a pannini. Mine came with a fruit cup that was 2 strawberries sliced and orange cut up with the center pulp still on it. No knives to cut the pulp off. On the bright side Rons came with chips that looked and tasted homemadeThe atmosphere is upbeat and friendly so perhaps no surprise that the people were were too.Our reason for going however was so Ron could use his beer passport which he did but there was not much of a selection. Bottom line, I dont know why it was on the Beer Passport but it is a great place for families, pizza and fun!
Got the meatball pizza and enjoyed it. The place was super cool.
Fantastic Sicilian! I havent had a pizza this good since I lived in France twenty years ago. Great cheese, perfect crust and Awesome Sauce!
Great Pizza, but the dude with the man-bun who works there was wildly innapropriate during our visit. Some friends and I were on the couch in the bar-cade when the man-bun guy comes in and literally laid on top of us. After we requested he leave, he aggressively stated he could do what he wants because he’s a bartender there. He was clearly intoxicated.Go here for the pizza, not the service.
Super cool find! Found this place close to our Airbnb and it did not disappoint. Food was great, as was the service. Art work was really cool, and there wash an attached arcade. Fun for the whole family! Just a really neat vibe to this place.
Great, fun place with delicious pizza!! Pinball machines, foos ball, and other arcade games, as well as gambling machines with a bar. Open late!
Our family stopped by here for a quick bite and ended up staying for well over an hour. The pinball is fun but I love darts and pool. The place is not only fun but the pizza is hot and delicious and the beer is plentiful and cold. We will be going back.
The best pizzas I ever ate. The appetizers like the calamari, aranchini and toasted ravioli are full of flavor. And the hot Italian beef is a must try.
Good pizza. Good beer. Friendly bartender! Pub pass site!
I really enjoyed our visit. The service and food were great. And the adjacent game play business was a fun addition. Definitely going again. And they take Groupon, Gift a Meal And Get upside! Good savings
Had the pulled pork Bogarts BBQ Pie and damn was it good! Definitely worth the trip & well be back.
Short version I advocate for this place you got to check it outOk so let me set a precedent Im Sicilian very picky about my pizza actually very picky about my Italian food. let me say this more than meets the muster actually Im quite impressed with the freshness of a lot of the toppings the care of the placement its very uniform both with the sauce the cheese the toppings and the hand needed dough is of a exquisite consistencyThey have a stocked bar with some rotating seasonal beersAtmospheres outstanding especially for a proud ItalianTheres also a lot of cool artwork a very neighborhood local eatery type vibeAnd some might say the best part is the attached arcade providing entertainment for days. You would think they pay me to leave such a good review but the reality is I pay them and I do so gladly every time they exceed my expectations.
This little bar was around the corner from my Airbnb and I wish I knew sureThe drinks were strong and the pizza was deliciousI definitely recommend
Sean was stupendous. Here on vacation and will now be here /every/ time Im in town. Bruchetta was delicious. Pizza was perfect. Beers were all delicious. So many local options. Their specials and French 75 were impressive. Highly recommended.
This place is cute with murals on the ceiling and art hung all around. Arcade in the back too. We had a Caprese salad and Pizza and both were fantastic.
Definitely an underrated spot. Super chill, awesome art & a big arcade next door. The pizza is delicious.
Ordered carryout. Immediately got a text that the pickup time was 30 min later than quoted. Arrived and was told 5 more minutes, putting it at the tail end of the updated quoted time. No problem.Ordered Lil Bread and pizza. Total was $19 before tax and tip.Based on photos, I was expecting a small loaf of bread. It was bread nuggets. Great texture but no flavor. Not even a yeasty bread flavor. Dipping oil was heavy on the vinegar. Ill be tossing them in herb seasoned garlic butter in the hopes I can salvage them. Dont think theyre worth the money as-is.Pizza is ok. It has some flavor. Its rustic. Not anything to write home about.I doubt Ill be back.
I went for brunch and got the roasted potatoes and omelette with an apple cider sangria. Everything was so good, not a single crumb left. I definitely will have to go back for dinner and try their pizza and play in the arcade!
My favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The vibe is different depending on whos working and the music theyre playing. Sometimes its punk music, sometimes classic rock. The place is absolutely gorgeous, with an STL-themed mural on the ceiling and tons of art to check out while you eat.I dont even know where to begin on the food. You really cant go wrong! I get the Paint Your Own Pizza usually, with veggies and white sauce. Their appetizers are incredible--the Lil Bread is great, with balsamic-rosemary oil to dip it in. Also the goat cheese marinara dip. And when I used to drink, their house white wine was my favorite.I just love the ambience, the location, and the people. The food is really a bonus. These pics are older so please excuse any changes.
Came here for the first time on Christmas Eve and it has now become one of our favorite spots in St. Louis. We have no problem making the 1 hour and 20 minute drive for consistently awesome food. The pizza, arancini, goat cheese dip, and toasted ravioli are FIRE. The drinks are always great too. Friendly staff and cool arcade. Love Cafe Piazza.!
Not only is the staff (Camillesuper awesome every time I stop in. The food is amazing. The four cheese pizza add pepperoni is my go to Pizza in St. Louis. I’ve tried plenty of spots but this is my style and it’s cooked to perfection every time. The salads are fresh and delicious. This spot will get my business over many others on Cherokee for the quality of ingredients and kind people who run the place. 5 stars all the way. Reasonably priced. And the Sunday brunch Papa’s calzone is the size of a bus. Must hit brunch here for the unique Italian style take on your favorite ingredients.
Lets just say all you can drink mimosa in the am. With an arcade in the back for night fun. This was a great little place for some brunch.
Such a cool little place. Food and service were both excellent!!! Bisque was to die for and so was the aracini.
Like most places in 2021 Cafe’ Piazza could use more wait staff. BUT the bartender did an amazing job serving everyone. The Lil Bread appetizer was delicious! And the pizza was great. Definitely come again.
Food was fantastic the service exceptional the staff magnificent. The place is gorgeous with all the art from local artists!
Never had a toasted ravioli before and I am glad I got to say I tried one. The toasted ravioli in my opinion are better than mozzarella sticks because of the beef in them. I also ordered the Sicilian style pizza which was very good. I do wish they had a traditional St. Louis style pizza. I had my food delivered via doordash so I am not sure if the restaurant delivers.
Loved the captivating decor. Very colorful & reflective of St. Louis eclectic scene. The takeout was freshly made & well wrapped. I ordered the Veggie Panini and side Spin Salad. Inspecting my takeout prior to takeoff is a habit (Ive been burned in the past). Anywho, upon opening the nicely wrapped panini I was taken aback by the presence as well the amount of sauce. Sauce wasnt indictated on the menu but the bartender stated it was red pepper. There were definitely red peppers on the veggie panini but whats this foreign sauce. He politely had it remade which I appreciated. Im not a saucy girl but if thats your thing please note AOILI comes on the panini with no warning. A minor adjustment to the menu would be an easy fix. The spin salad was delicious.Ill be back for round 2.
The food was fresh and hot. I ordered the fennel sausage, spinach, black olive, and caramelized onions. I also had the calamari very good. The art work on the ceiling and walls were nice to look at while waiting on my food. My granddaughter loved it.
I love love love this place! I think that Ive tried almost every pizza and they are all spectacular! Pizza is crispy crust and thin, with just the right amount of toppings and sauce. Every person that I have brought, have agreed. If youre looking for great pizza and a few cocktails... This is definitely the place to go. Update! This is my own creation - ham, cherry tomato, and banana peppers. So good! Staff is super friendly. I definitely recommend :)
My girlfriend and I come here weekly and are becoming regulars. The pizza is amazing and the drinks are just as good. The servers are always friendly and top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Really nice place! Great atmosphere and music playing over the speakers (Im a classic rock fan!). Food was delish and coffee (just plain old is what I ordered, not the fancywas too. My sister and niece also thoroughly enjoyed what they had! We will come back!
Both Sicilian style pizza, female server was incredibly nice. Went when it was not busy at all and the sicilian pizzas took quite a few minutes to get there but they pre-warn you about it and it was absolutely worth the weight and worth every penny! From abruzzo, Italy, we love this place and the pizza!
Ordered takeaway pizza from here late one night mid-week recently. LOVED IT. So good. I was expecting okay but it really blew our socks off. Can’t wait to return. They are even open for breakfast. The place is really nice inside with very interesting murals on the ceiling. Decor is 50’s/retro kitchen.
Cafe Piazza makes a solid pizza, definitely one of the best pizzas Ive had in Saint Louis. The fresh ingredients and authentic feels makes this pizza stand out more than your usual pizza restaurants will. I ordered my pizza pie from Uber Eats and I was not let down, the pizza was still hot and looked freshly cooked! I would definitely recommend Cafe Piazza to all and I cant wait to go back to actually sit down in the restaurant and try it out.
Yummy! The crust is absolutely amazing!! Light and crisp. The sauce is a great compliment to the pizza. So far, I have had the margherita, pepper and feta, and roasted red pepper pizzas. They were all consistently excellent. Music is subtle. Hip atmosphere. I will bring my friends here.
This place is a little slice of Heaven, the staff is extremely friendly and the place has a homey cafe/ diner appeal on one side and a family restaurant environment on the other side. Not only was the service great the food was spectacular. This is my 3rd time visiting and I plan to continue.
