Cafe Patisserie - Restaurant in Bradford, United Kingdom
We used to go here when it was based at its old place near peel park wayHowever I went recently and it’s drastically changed. The customer service is not the same, the spicy meat ball starter is tiny balls of meat not what it was previously and the food is just all so bland.I used to love this place but it has drastically declined.
This place doesn’t even deserve a rating because of me and my family’s experience. All of our food had hair inside it.. the food was half cold… and the manager was rude. I do not recommend this place to any families at all 😡
excellent food, friendly and hospitable staff, and comfy atmosphere
Luvly food clean and friendly quick service 👌
Food was absolutely disgusting & bland. Chicken tasted off & presentation of food was half hearted. Wouldn’t recommend, wasn’t offered an option for an alternate meal when I sent my food back either
Nice place but it doesnt have a lift for wheelchair person but lasagne was great
Not as good as it used to be at the previous location been a few times always rushed and food is average
Mould on the bread. Even the fresh batch. Talk about food hygiene??? Put me off all food served. Dont trust these guys. Specially as they went and changed the bread for a fresh batch and brought me back more mouldy bread..
Absolutely lovely place to meet friends and catch up. Service was excellent 👌 👏 👍
Do not recommend at all!! I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD. Service was terrible, waited nearly 40 mins for breakfast. Food was very cold and not cooked properly. Tea was luke warm. On top of that, the staff were very hostile and unfriendly. So unprofessional!! To top it all off, I walked out and saw a rat so definitely will NOT BE COMING AGAIN! Please save yourself the trip.
This place is not consistent! The staff were inexperienced literal children, nepotism really hasnt worked in their favour here. The underage waiters kept bringing the wrong food to our table. The tables were sticky, the food was cold and came out separately, they spilled drinks, argued back about quality of food and added extra items on the bill that we didnt order. They werent even capable of bringing cutlery out with dishes and we waited additional time for that.Overall, a terrible experience and I dont plan on going back. 0/10 would not recommend.
WORST FOOD EVER!!!Ordered an omelette at 3pm and on telling the manager it was dry, hard and didnt taste fresh. only to be told that there was nothing wrong with the food, and it had been (according to The managercooked fresh in the morning.. disgusting service and attitude
Fabulous place hidden away , we got a great warm welcome as we arrived the food drinks and atmosphere were amazing! Definitely will go again! A must visit if youre in the area.
Good food but could have done with service with a smile from our waitress.
Lovely food, have been a few times and would recommend this place for a nice brunch. Lovely place too - very clean and cozy. Food is nice and prices are good for what you get!
This is a joke. Went and got a smash avocado on toast. It came with a poched egg which was not poached and was a definitely previously frozen and put directly in boiling water to serve quickly. The avocado was not fresh, you could tell it was tesco bought avocado dip. I know this because Ive had it plenty of times before. Overall the place looks nice the guys running the place seem decent. But the food is a rip off. Felt like a got scammed to say the truth. Will never go back there again.
9/10 SERVICE. FOOD 8/10Atmosphere nice.Overall it was a decent day out with my sisters. Alhamdulillah
Ordered a full English breakfast from here and it was one of the worst meals I’ve eaten, absolutely no flavour, awful sausages which which were cheap, rubbery and flavourless. Definitely regret not sticking to our regular place!
Great place and staff were friendly. Really enjoyed the food. The place was clean and comfy. Would recommend a visit.
A little bit of an unknown place, has a nice vibe and decor, food was good with nice portions, (has a nice varied menu for people of different tastesand dessert was bigger than expected, recommended.
Its gone downhill since they moved to the new location. Food doesnt taste as nice for some reason.
Good place for breakfast lunch dinner and evening brunch.had bangers and mash.
Really nice beautiful decor clean and good service with a smile and good food
Simply the best, good food with perfect portion size, reasonable price, good service highly recommended
Absolutely disgrace of a place, shocking staff members. I waited 25 minutes just to place an order when new customers were being seated and their order was taken first. Spoke to the staff at the till about someone taking my order only to get a reply ‘ go somewhere else if you not happy’ . Shocking and will not be visiting again.
Brilliant breakfasts. Price is great and portions massive. Poached eggs spot on!!!
Lovely experience having breakfast with a group of friends . Brilliant customer service . Food was tasty and large portions . Tea was given out early so was slightly luke warm , I would advise to have it served with food. I would definitely visit again and try other items from menu .
Very disappointed in English breakfastScrambled eggs were not fresh dried as they been reheated halal sausages were disgusting and rubbery baked bean was cheap stuff reminded you of smart price baked bean .
This place has a lot of potential for thinking outside the box for its menu but needs to brush up on quality.Mac n cheese should be made with macaroni, not spirals.Would prefer roast veg instead of frozen boiled veg out of a bag.Mojito should not be made with 7up full of artificial sweeteners.Fresh orange juice should be freshly squeezed instead of a glass of tropicana straight out of a bottle.Waitering staff need to be more attentive.
Came for breakfast. Lovely staff. Lovely food. We ordered full English breakfast and hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. Decor was nice. They dont have any gluten free options. Wouldv given 5 stars if they did.
Food was ok but the drink that they call desi tea is a syrup mix with hot milk. 0 star for their tea and 2 star for the food.
Today was the first time I visited here. I ordered a full English breakfast, it was delicious and perfectly cooked. However it was very cold inside cafe patisserie although the heating was on, also I found the decor on the wall was very odd
Fantastic..better location fabulous array of different types of food from breakfast to pies to Mediterranean shakshuka..the service was excellent 👌
I was not impressed went for a quick breakfast tried the Spicy Spanish Omelette with Patata Bravas. It certainly wasnt as appetising as shown in the picture included. It was like a prebaked/old omelette the ends were as crusty as a biscuit never had an omelette like it. The management on the other hand were quite quick and agreed to waive the cost of the bill. I will give it another go.
MashAllah everytime I have visited Cafe Patisserie, their service, food and delivery of food timing has always been on point. The manners of the staff is refreshing.Thank you guys for feeding us even though we came so close to closing time. In sha Allah see you guys again soon
They have not updated their contact details online, so if you rely on sat-nav or Google - it will take you to the old premises off Barkerend Road. It is on Bowling back Lane, just off Vanilla Rooms. Brunch menu was decent, however lacking a traditional desi breakfast which we were after for some of the family members. Not wheelchair accessible - you have to climb to steep stairs to the cafe - which isnt ideal for the elderly and people with mobility issues. Good service and nice desi tea.
I came to the new location a few weeks ago for the first time to try the English breakfast i was very impressed with the fast efficient service and the portion size of the breakfast which was cooked really well all with good quality ingredients, other food coming out looked really appetizing also and looking forward to returning and trying a few different items from the menu
Just had desi egg breakfast, very nice food, high quality, beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Will definitely be going again.
Main gripes were that the service was slow & the food was lacking.Service : Pleasant enough wait staff but they spend so much time joking around with each other that they fail to keep an eye on customers. I requested service from one of the waiters - he told me to wait & never returned. Poor.Food : We ordered a beef pie which was great. The sides were a tasteless mashed potato & what was listed as Roasted Vegetables on the menu, but turned out to be lukewarm boiled frozen mixed veg. We also ordered a Croque Monseuir- it was soggy & just awful.Initially I had intended to stay for coffee. I decided not to as the booths were uncomfortable & room was cold.As a concept this place could be a little gem. The execution isnt there just yet.
Love this place. I go pretty much every week. The breakfast is amazing and so are the other meals. Prices are very low for the portion sizes and quality of food and service.
Lovely Samosa Chaat for lunch today at Cafe Patisserie.Greeted by lovely staff with welcoming smiles, which is always nice , followed by efficient table service again, helpful and polite. After much deliberation went for pizza but was told they no longer do that. Good job I had a Plan B! For that reason you get 4 stars.Advice: Revise the menu as theres nothing annoying when youve finally picked your oprion to be told its not available.I will definitely be coming back as its a lovely place!
Lovely food, great relaxed atmosphere, great service.
Lovely interior and waiting staff. I was hoping for more from this place but it just didnt fully deliver unfortunately. We went there for my surprise birthday treat and ordered 3 full English breakfasts, a cappuccino and latte and French toast brioche. The French toast was served well and tasted great. The coffee unfortunately was too bitter for my liking and I struggled to finish it. We also had to request cutlery a number of times. The biggest disappointment was the conversation with the cafe manager at the end of the meal. When asked by the cashier how the food was, I told her it was nice although my husband wouldve liked bacon to be included in the full English. She struggled to understand what I meant by bacon and turned to the cafe manager who also seemed baffled. After mentioning "halal" bacon the cafe manager condescendingly joked that "they dont say/do bacon around here, no body wants it" - suggesting that the customer base in the local area would not eat it due to its association with being non Halal. While I may have understood this 20 years ago, the selection of halal produce is as widely available as it is diverse. Further, I am a head scarf wearing visible Muslim so to loosely suggest that I would be requesting anything but Halal is ridiculous and actually quite offensive. Also shocking as almost every other Halal breakfast place up and down the country offers a selection of halal meats. In sharing my feedback, I also mentioned how not only Halal turkey but also Halal Macon (lambis now widely available and is in fact available from a well know Halal supermarket up the road from the.At this point I realised that while some restaurants may appear to be different from the rest in terms of interior, sadly they still have a lot of catching up to do esp with regards to receiving honest and well meant feedback. Suffice to say, I dont expect to be going back in a hurry.
We ordered and food arrived within minutes which was quite worrying. Seemed like it was pre heated didn’t taste so great either. I requested a fresh orange juice only to get a concentrated drink which must’ve been a cheap Asda or Tesco branded so not impressed at all. Beans tasted cheap too. Big let down, unfortunately won’t be coming here gain
I’ve been coming here for a long time now and the quality of my experience is gradually in decline. Booths were available for seating but we were seated elsewhere even though we requested a booth. The avocado with my full English today had a sickly texture and didn’t taste great. Just not a great experience and I won’t be visiting again. 2 stars because the ambience was great and the ladies working on the counter were lovely.
Great Service and Menu selections...Big portions with plenty of additional options.Parking not to bad, however location can be a little tricky if you dont know where youre going.
Service really needs to improve, order is taken after a long wait, you have to put your hand up for attention. When food is arrived, cutlery is missing you have to ask again for the knives and forks, tissue and sauces etc. Needs to be more efficient and organized, otherwise food is really nice.
Poor quality of food. Well over priced for what you get. The food is tasteless so bland, salt and pepper chips for £10 is a rip off for that quality. Avoid at all costs. Customer service is non existent with rude staff especially the guy with the stubble. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Meat breakfast and Moroccan Shakshuma. Perfectly cooked and great service. This place is exquisite 👌, highly recommended.
Excellent service from start to finish, staff were very friendly and helpful. The new building has a great open seating area and can accomodate alot more people than the previous building. Lovely decor and a great overall ambience. Food were amazing quailty and did not fail to disappoint and it also arrived quicker than expected. Had a wide range menu from breakfast, mains and desserts. Great selection of hot & cold drinks. Although they dont have a private car park, there is plenty of parking outside and on the side roads.
