Elegant Parisian-style bistro/cafe serving French delicacies from breakfast to dinner.
Bacon loaded pizza, Chicken Snitzel, and Hot Chocolate 👌
The food was nice, but the service is very slow. Even after multiple reminders, got the food somehow but no glasses for water. The server did not heed that we have been waiting to order for 30 mins. Everytime, we called just got a nod.
Absolutely atrocious food and drinks. Absolute waste of money and time. The service staff is nice, perhaps they are also embarrassed about their kitchen staff...
The wine collection is just average. The food is good. Croissant is amazing
Great service, very prompt. Amazing truffle mushroom pasta in creamy sauce. Could have done a better job on the bruschetta. Recommend this place if you want a quick meal away from the hustle bustle of Whitefield Social.
Rating 3.5/5.Great location in the mall complex. The food was decent - nothing extraordinary. Cant say it warrants the price point. They used to be know for their sweet desserts. We tried the Opera cake - quite disappointing. The blueberry muffin was pretty good though .We also had the creamy pesto pasta - pretty average and the basket of fries which includes French fries and potato wedges. Potato wedges were very good! The pn seared chicken with peppercorn sauce was ok - the sauce was delicious but too little was served on the plate. The mint spritze drink was refreshing.
Had a relaxing time with my partner. The veg soup and sizzler were tasteful and filling. The place didnt feel overcrowded like other ones in the same mall. It overlooks the open Galleria where a nice music band was making practice rounds for their evening event. Surely recommended for evening sit with your SO.
Excellent quality of food and a lot of variety to choose from. Decent ambience but a very slow service.Food -> 5/5Ambience -> 4/5Service -> 2/5
Service was excellent. It was my birthday and I never mentioned it. Yet the experience was so memorable. The portion sizes were generous. I had no room for dessert. They offered to pack up one as a gift but I said I was so happy nothing more was required!
Good ambience. Taste could be better. Pina colada was sugary, Mojito was alright. Salmon fish was tasty. A bit pricey though
This place serves average food. The croissant tasted more like a brioche in the shape of a croissant. It lacked the typical flakiness on the outside and the buttery creamy taste on the inside, not made with good butter but with some cheap fat (personal opinion). Mezze platter was okay, coffee was average. Service was polite.
The food was decent, not very good neither disappointing. The ambience was nice. A few dishes to try are the sizzlers, lasagna and assorted fritters.
Good place to visit. Its a little expensive but worth the splurge once in a while. Dont forget to apply 25% off with zomato Pro!
The place needs to be more cleanly maintained.
The prices are expensive for the quality provided. I had ordered Pizza pepperoni. The order took a long time even though there was hardly any crowd. The taste was sub standard. The crust was a bit hard. The place looks good but the food is not worth it.
Service was slow. Luckily we werent in a rush. Because of a medical need to avoid caffeine, Im often disappointed in coffee shops. I was here to meet a friend and thanks to an extra effort by the staff, I got to enjoy a yummy decaf cold coffee! It was not overly sweet; so tasty and refreshing that I gulped it down faster than intended. The location is nice too. Conveniently located "in" the mall, yet away from the crowds with an outward -facing patio. Theres both indoor and outdoor seating. They also serve wine.
Good ambience slow service tasty food but not VFM portion sizes are too small ..
Good ambience, good service, okay-ish food
Visited here in late afternoon/evening. It was comfortable although pretty noisy, but that was more because of a busy Sunday evening and a "concert" of sorts happening nearby. Coffees were great, and we had peri peri fries which was a bit spicy but there was a sizeable quantity of fries, however the sauces/dips were less.I think this would be usually a great place on quieter days, they have a fairly big menu with both veg and non veg options. Staff were friendly.Only downside is there is no hand-wash facility in the restaurant, you need to go inside the mall for that. Somewhat annoying.
Had a nice dinner with family. Pizza was amazing. Chicken wings, potato wedges, cranberry mojito were good. Nitish who handled our orders was very cordial and caring.
Food as always is awesome. Place has decent ambience and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. One of the better choices for Italian cuisine. Usually is crowded so prepare for some level of wait time.
This review is for Cafe Noir-Phoenix MarketcityFood: GoodWaiters: Very GoodManager: BadWe went recently and asked the manager for water. It was served only after asking it for the fourth time. He takes your request but doesnt communicate it to the on-ground staff. He seems lost most of the times and tries ignoring customers requests. To add, he brings drinks with his bare hands without using a tray. Imagine 4 glasses being bundled and served bare handedly. This made me raise question on their hygiene standards. The earlier manager (the guy with specswas really good. The rest of the staff including the bartender and the waiters are really good.
Had been to this cafe at phoenix market City. Friend ordered a cold coffee with cinnamon and caramel flavouring, i ordered cold coffee which was supposed to have chocolate sauce, black coffee and a scoop of ice cream. Sadly it was tasteless and watery.. Service was unbelievably slow.. The guy cleaning the table looked like he really didnt want to do his job or be there. I was only there because all the other places i was trying to enter was crowded and this place had 2 visible empty tables. And i was already dead tired from walking over 2 hours around the mall.. For an extremely sad lethargic service and drinks that was genuinely not worth it, i paid a hefty price.. Had a nice opinion of this French cafe back in December.. Sadly i do not feel the same anymore.
We ordered pizza, pie, pasta, fries. Everything had oil floating. Pasta was tasty but had too much oil. I could literally taste the oil for hours later. Ambience wise its a perfect place to hangout if you go phoenix. Drinks were good.
Lovely Ambience and tasty food! I personally love their soups and pastries. Being a vegetarian, loved their veg pasta varities. Service was good and a nice place to chill out!
Food could have been better. No proper Hygiene management. Saw few insects in display counter.
Loved their grilled salmon even more than i did before the lockdowns.
They offer a selection of French cuisine including wine. The food and service are good. A little steep price wise.
Beautiful decor, nice ambience, food is delicious too! Would have been great if the liquor has options other than just wine.
Great ambience, good food.Amazing view to concert area.Best pizza I had in a long time.Nice latte too.It has a great view to the concert area, it was nice to enjoy the pizza and enjoy the concert.
It was quite afternoon and there was no one other then me and my office colleague. It was good experience. Good food.
Pretty bad, slow service. Half of the food served were cold. The guy sitting in the cash counter, who also came to collect our order was not wearing mask properly. On asking, he tried to justify what he did. And was rude to me.The almond croissant was very good. The Salmon was ok. And the steak was served cold. Veggies were chewy.
Was a beautiful evening at Phoenix market city Bangalore. We dropped by Cafe Noir for a nice late lunch.Nice staff, beautiful ambience.
Best place for continental breakfast lovers .Pleasing ambiance with variety of options for breakfast.Starting from sandwich , pizza , crossiant, breakfast platter . It’s a lovely place to start the day with your loved ones . Staffs were friendly too .
The place has both indoor n outdoor seating with good options in food. Love their coffee- Vegan Espresso. Lemon tart, one of my favourite.
Went here after a movie. The place has a view to the open air area in Phoenix Mall where concerts tend to happen from time to time. So keep that in mind if you arent interested in the those. The staff are friendly and the food was pretty good too. Would come back here again.
This place is located on the ground floor of VR mall and is well-known for its French cuisine and all-day breakfast. We tasted the Masala Omelette and Hash browns here and both were yummy. The service was a bit slow and the food was priced a little on the higher side. Barring these two points, I liked the place overall.
The place is established in VR mall Bengaluru, chic and cool all at the same. The food was cooked to perfection. The pasta is to die for, clean flavours and cooked just right.I was bit disappointed by my Pina Colada, otherwise other all experience was excellent.Bonus : you could enjoy the music from a live band whenever possible
Cafe Noir is one of the favorite places that my buddy and I love to hang out especially when we are in VR Mall. I was visiting from overseas after a year, and I want to revisit the memories by having a refreshing coffee and some pastries. We ordered a hot drink and pastry combo along with a crispy Potato Wedges. The Fraisier - a classic French sponge cake. My love for strawberries made us order this one. However, the cake was not up to the mark. I have had better ones. The Apple Tart, on the other hand, was quite dry and almost felt like there is no life left in it. I wish the pastries were fresh and appeared less in sulkiness. And, regarding the pricing, I know its a premium French cafe chain, and it has to keep the standard. But, when you offer a premium menu, you should have some responsibility to keep the food delectable. The coffee and the potato wedges were good, but we are appalled at how the other dishes tasted.
A great for quick European cuisines. Personally havent eaten anything here but I felt they have a very delicious menu and also the ambience is cool too. This is located on the ground floor of the mall and can be entered from both inside and outside the mall. Friendly staffs too.
Its a very nice place...i loved the foodAnd food quality... The service is very good and quick... The staff is kind.. The prices are a bit high but its worth..the pizzas are very tasty and the burgers are big and delicious. .. The coffee options are also very nice...the sweets are good..its French style cafe and its a must to go here for a nice international meal..
This is basically a French cafe so the food is inspired from the French cuisine. The panini sandwiches should be good here but I havent tried those yet. I love the chicken quiche though. The pastry is flaky and the right amount of crisp but soft at the same time. Very good 👌I also tried the chicken burger which was decent too. Apart from that I had the macaroons and a couple of pastries here, all of which were good. The cafe has a nice vibe to it. It connects the outside of the mall to the inside area so there is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Good place to have coffee and catch a bite. Not serious meals though.
A very good place for Italian delicases, the taste of the food was excellent. The staff were courteous with all the request. This place has a kitchen and hence food is prepared fresh for the serving. You will find lots of combo options which will be more cost effective. If your going for movie make sure to let them know before billing as you can get discount on the the food bill.
Loved the ambience. Great variety of cocktails. Loved the wine options. Food taste was average. Only looked better than they tasted.
Id actually rate it slighty above average. The cafe kind of has an outlook of an European eatery. The view of the arena at Phoenix Market City, may be an advantage for guests who do not mind the performance in the arena on a weekend evening. But for us, it had no impact as we visited this place for a late lunch on a Sunday. The staff is courteous and helpful. The food options appear to be french with some Italian potions in it. But, assuming the Cafe is of Indian origin, the food shall have Indianness in the taste.I was not so surprised, when I got my Cassolette de Poissons Tandoori (more so locally known as Tandoori fishserved. My wife ordered a Veg Moussaka combo in which she opted a Lemon water along with a Macaron. We savoured the food, to the Indian liking, but did not seem to be authentic French ( or so European to say)
The ambiance was very contemporary and so I took an immediate liking. They also have a space for outside seating which takes you out to another section of the mall where you can admire the "I love Bengaluru" sign and the picture stories of several mall goers.I devoured the Spinach soup which was full of flavor and the perfect, creamy texture. There was none leftover. You get the gist. The Veg. Lasagna was also rather good. The top layer was a little too hard, couldnt tell if that was baked cheese or the pasta sheet. What I could tell though, is that the taste was very pleasing to the Palette.I tried a variety of shakes. Mango tops the list followed by the banana, which was very simple and subtle in taste. The apple and strawberry were just alright, nothing out of the ordinary. The highlight of my meal? Almond Croissant. I will repeat what I had said when I took a gigantic first bite of it, "I have died and gone to Croissant heaven."
It is located in the outer side of the phoenix mall. Thus it gives an awesome outdoor cafe feeling. On top of that, the phoenix stage is just in front of it and if you are lucky enough, some soothing song might be playing. They light candles on the table and make it a perfect soothing dinner time for you. Food is French. I liked it.
We went to the place for brunch. Good that we went early since the place was beaming with people at lunch time. The place has a good ambience. As per the friends who have visited Paris, they said it has an authentic feel. The coffee and fresh juices are quite good.Food: we ordered La Farmiere (quite fluffy, filling and delicious omelette), Le St Lazard (a good baguetteand a Ratatouille Epicee (Really good tomato cancasse with tasty Herby rice). The Ratatouille took me by surprise, since generally the veg options arent good, but this one had really good flavor. We also ordered a cheesecake and strawberry tart, ending our brunch on even better note.
Food may seem expensive but its so worth it. The lasagna was out of the world. The salad was so awesome, it didnt even feel like I was eating leaves. The quantity given was so filling. We had zomato gold, so it was a friggin steal.
Great place for breakfast. The omelette could have been better though. Good coffee. Macaroons are also good but slightly too sweet for my taste. Also the food was quite filling. A little on the expensive side.
